Had a excellent experience in here with my son. The food arrives rapidly and the customer service is just excellent. Prices are affordable.
You get right there and it looks authentic. You get the food and you learn it's amazing
We ordered lumpiang sariwa, Bulalo, Crispy pata and Sisig since it s been a while since we had those. The servings are for sharing, and the food taste really good. Though the sisig is a little bit dry, nothing beats the kalamansi over lemon. We were served lemon as a sub. The place is small and the decor needs a little updating. But of course we didn t go there to be all fancy and do photo op. The food is flavorful and hits the spot, that is all that matters to me. Now we know where to go whenever we crave for Filipino food. Grill 21 is the place to be. Will definitely go back and try out other dishes that they have.
Love this place. Chicharon flowers and sisig are the way to go!
This was my first time ever trying Filipino food so I had no idea what to expect, but apparantely this place is quite authentic and the service was also good. The halo halo was the meal standout for me, it was refreshing and creamy with a great balance between the lightness of the ice and the richness of the Ube ice cream. Replacing white rice with garlic rice was 50 cents more, but I honestly couldn't taste that much of a difference since everything was slathered in sauce, anyway.
Great authentic food. Very pleased. The wait was a little long. Overall great place to grab lunch or dinner with friends and family.
Very well organised and convenient place. They serve generous meals and for inexpensive prices. We liked the meals very much and the staff were super affable and explanatory. I recommend this place.
Would certainly recommend visiting this place. Exceptional mood, fresh food, fantastic customer service. Highly recommended.
Perfect....Tocino needed a bit more sauce but was amazing
Come here for traditional filipino food. It's better than most of the trendier filipino food places in Manhattan.
Very neat and welcoming restaurant. They serve big portions and for reasonable prices. We liked the food very much and the staff were very attentive and informative. Highly recommended.
Best place to look for authentic filipino cuisine in Manhattan!
I was looking for Filipino food in Manhattan, I searched and it yielded me some results. However, since I was looking for authentic, I landed on this restaurant. Other restaurants were fusion (especially the most reviewed ones), but this restaurant was the same as the ones served in Manila!
I ordered Bicol Express, Ginataang Sitaw and Halo-Halo, and I loved it! Would definitely go back!
Very neat and welcoming spot. They serve large portions and for fair rates. We liked the menu very much and the staff members were super affable and informative. I recommend this place.
This spot is my favorite. I visit a lot of restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very welcoming and the cooking they offer is so delicious. I never decline to have a nice dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Not coming back.
Amazing food, warm environment, highly recommend. Great for family, friends, and dates! Small, but worth the wait if it gets busy!
Would definitely recommend trying this spot. Fantastic vibes, flavorful dishes, fantastic service. 5 stars.
A bit pricy but if you're craving Filipino food, it's pretty solid overall.
Filipino restaurant near Veterans Hospital and Bellevue Hospital. Nice food, price ok...
This place is unquestionably one of the coolest place to eat in the area. Whenever I come there I am awfully satisfied. They keep their very high level service and the highest level of cooking they provide. You are always happy with this place. Warmly recommended.
I absolutely liked the food and customer service, good location close to where I live. The cashiers are always very welcoming. Highly recommended.
My little secret place, oh oh not any more, this Food is the best!! Yummy!!
Oh my god This place totally makes me happy and pleased I m living in this city so that I could have their food.
My husband and I were looking for a great Filipino restaurant in NYC and we came upon this small cozy restaurant. I had the longanisa and BBQ chicken with garlic rice - all were really good! I recommend the calamansi juice for anyone who likes sour or tart drinks like lemonade. Lastly, I recommend the halo-halo dessert topped with ube ice cream - yummy! My husband and I will definitely return to this place next year on our NYC trip.
I visit this nice place quite a bit! This is my favorite place to grab a bite. I go there many times. The meals are of high quality, the staff members are friendly and the rates are decent. I enjoy meeting in this place to have a decent supper.
Very good food, thai tea and lime juice drink is unlimited, good for small family party. The server is nice and friendly he make you feel like your home treat you like family...
the only thing is their Restroom needs upgrade.
Awesome food from a homely feeling eating environment. Sobrang salamat po! Will come again.
This food is too good to be true! Love it so much! Portions are big! It's cozy and quiet. The service is great. Nothing bad to be said about this place! Wish I could eat here every day!
Incredibly delicious and fairly priced. The platter menu offers you the chance to try two (smaller portions of) entrees with a sizeable portion of rice (or garlic rice, which is preferable!). Very small venue, but very homey. It's definitely worth dinner.
Yummy, authentic stuff. Not the fanciest or any big wow, but consistently real deal, homestyle masarap.
Closed between 4-5 pm, not that they ve bothered to update their new hours online since making the change more than a year ago. Must not be worth it to post accurate hours for prospective customers. Good luck, we ll take our business somewhere patrons are respected.
The food was yummy and the atmosphere warm and cozy. But the service was a bit rude. A little less attitude can get you that extra star.
Food are so delicious!!! So far this one of my favorite Filipino Restaurant...
This place knows how to serve their clients. Consistently with a welcoming mindset. The food is conveniently priced, regularly tasty and clean.
I ate at jeepney, maharlika and grill 21. Highly recommend Grill 21, the food was delicious, the service was wonderful which make this place to visit. Looking forward to our next visit.
One of my favorite spots to eat. awesome location, clean, and fantastic service. I highly recommend them!
I eat here a lot since I work nearby. I have to say their customer service is always fantastic and they keep the spot neat at all times. Rates are convenient and they serve generous portions.
From the first moment you come to this restaurant they give you a good feeling. Very courteous team, it is a happy place to hang out with buddies or with your date. very good meals, experienced chef de cuisine, competitive pay and professional service. Highly recommended.
The food is always well prepared and delightful, employees hands out good customer service. I really like the cleanliness and ambience. Worth a try.
I told my friends about this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are tasty and the team is generous and cooperative. always when we go to this place we enjoy a pleasant time. I recommend this place with pleasure.
Best halo-halo I've had in ages. And definitely in New York City.
Excellent place. Never would have guessed it had great food.
The food here is really good. I got an eggplant+pork lunch special the last time I went, and I really enjoyed it.
The two times I went, I had the same server; she was friendly, and super helpful and patient about describing menu items.
I hope to come back here many times!
I often take my friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are yummy and the team is generous and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we pass a cheerful time. highly recommended.
We ordered the BBQ pork with garlic rice, the pork was tender and juicy. My wife ordered the tapa, over well eggs, and rice. The beef was thinly sliced and tough to eat!
The table service was quick and the waiter was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant is very tiny, maybe 20 customers can dine comfortably at the most.
I love this place first time for me to come
I have in trouble to find the place.
But( Sulit )
Good food friendly staff
My favorite are grilled liempo.
I recommend this place if you want to eat authentic Pilipino food or you just missed home this perfect place.
I feel totally frustrated about this place. Last Dec 31, I ordered something for take out, and i did not inspect the bag of food they gave me. When I got home, the buco pandan i was craving for and paid for was not in the bag. I called them to ask them to refund me for it, and they have not refunded me. I went there today, jan 13, to order food, and i waited for 25 minutes to get my take out. 25 minutes passed and the lady said that she has not forwarded to the kitchen my order and i needed to wait for another 20 minutes. i just gave up and asked for my money back. You guys owe me a decent service big time.
This place is worth trying. They have large portions for convenient rates. Regularly well organized and with awesome character. I highly recommend this place.
Excellent and fresh food, I loved the vibes the spot has, and the cashiers were super nice. Will definitely visit here again.
I had an extraordinary at this spot. We enjoyed the first-rate vibes and the food. The staff were very welcoming. I am happy we ultimately decided to visit this restaurant.
Place is small. Service is ok..could have been faster. Love the sisig! A must for me. So far the best sisig for me here in NY. Price is not bad. Portions are good. Will definitely go back for the sisig.
I love Grill 21. It never has a wait and the lunch specials really hit the spot. If you live or work nearby, it's a seamless or postmates call away from having authentic, delicious Filipino cuisine delivered to your door step. LOVE their halo halo! Go there just for all those layers of sweetness.
Dj Magnum kathrina is in the house, from magnum radio 99.9,their food is so sinfully good, spicy chicken curry, pork belly and the sawsawan, plus dinuguan, for a decent price.pwedeng ipagmayabang, babalik balikan..anthony bourdain watchout...andrew zimmerman u better come...
The food is always fresh and tasty, staff members provides awesome customer service. I loved the cleanliness and atmosphere. Worth a try.
The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This is one of favorite restaurants in the city and I eat here often. I highly recommend!
Whenever im in the mood for some authentic Filipino food, i always go to Grill 21. Never am i disappointed with the food or the service. definitely a one stop eatery for my favorite food from the philippines
Exceptional and tasty food, I love the character this place has, and the workers were very welcoming. I will surely come back.
Server was so respectful and great with giving us recommendations. The lechon kawali, lumpia and sinangag were exactly what I expected, super delicious. The kare kare was ok and tosino could have been more tender and sweet. The price was a bit higher than what I expected... typically $15+ per entree but the portions were fairly
Large so it evened out I I suppose. Overall-great taste and service-highly recommend!
great variety of land,sea,veggies menu
Filipino style, outdoor dining, social distancing guidelines, decent restroom,
reasonable prices
yummmmmnnmniness! Tender and crispy, just right flavor!
Absolutely superb! Foos was excellent and service was very good! Must have the halo halo, the pork belly and lechon.
Authentic food, no vegetables for brunch. Simple ( but nice) decor.
The food and service was great. Definitely try the sisig.
Very elegant and accessible spot. They offer large meals and for inexpensive rates. We loved the menu a lot and the waiters were very affable and explanatory. I recommend this place.
The food was so tasty and though it's a small place, it's clean and staff is so kind and professional at all times.
Yummy spring rolls, pancit, adobo, and amazing hello hello
Great restaurant! The food was soooo good! Worth the long walk from the train station.
Very good Filipino food. I like the curry they have too. Also order a desert they have a very nice icey desert dish. Also a flan i think. Good service
The place is really small so you'd definitely have to call ahead for large parties, but the food is great. I was working on a film that starred a family from the Philippines and there's a scene where they're all sitting down for dinner. I ordered the "prop" food from Grill 21 and all the actors were impressed by how authentic and tasty it was. The woman playing the mother said the Chicken Adobo was "just like what my mom used to make"...Mission Accomplished.
Always an authentic, delicious experience! Simple, well-established.
Really great, traditional Filipino food. Prices are good, and if you've never tried authentic Filipino cuisine, here's your chance.
Horrible service, never answers the phone, gives the wrong order. Was the 2 hrs ago. This place sucks..
