Only one security checkpoint with that many people...
Only one security checkpoint with that many people was absolutely ridiculous! Venue was good for the concert, you could see every seat was a good seat.

Very enjoyable time at the game. All seats are really close to the action.
Friday night SmackDown was awesome! Great seats. Section 119. Lower level
Awesome place to see a game. They keep it super clean
Nice design but I got lost too many times. Could use a map.
Saturday my husband and I went to both the NC RV and Camper Show AND the Swarm game. It was a great day! I love our GSO coliseum event center!
1st off have to pay for parking, not listed on Ticketmaster. I have handicap, no handicap available but an rv was up front and center by the enterence! Couldnt see the stage from our seats (5 rows from it) bc the last 6 seats are blocked by speakers etc. We got caught in a down pour (no covered seats) but the staff made it clear it was rain or shine regardless. Lightening struck, we were evacuated to our car for an hour! Long walk back to the car. First act, the reason for me going to the concert, canceled. No refunds per the venue. Bc its rain or shine!!! Second act came out 2 hrs after tge original start time. Luckily we were able to push down to see bc our entire row left. I'll never return to this venue.
National Championship held here July 4-7, 2018: watch on youtube @ usagymnastics: Rhythmic Gymnastics, Acrobatic Gymnastics, Trampoline, Tumbling , Mini-trampoline exclusive footage from Greensboro Coliseum!
Staff were friendly and willing to help with my questions.
Great event space! Always a good place to be. Parking is pretty easy and well organized
Making South Dakota Proud in the Ninja competition..Go 605 Ninja academy!!! Kenadie..tiny but mighty!!
When we first arrived at the Outcry Concert we asked if there were any additional handicap seating available so my wife and daughter's boyfriend could sit with us in the handicap section during the concert instead of general seating.
Guest services called an Usher Captain to speak with us. He immediately said that they were 100% sold out in the handicap sections throughout the entire Colosseum. That was 100% a lie. Later that evening, 2 people were led into the handicap section we were in at 8:35pm from section 223. The concert started at 7:00pm. 4 seats stayed vacant until 8:35pm. The two people told me they asked to be moved and had not purchased handicap seating. Then at 9:35pm the ushers brought 2 more people to that section (who truly needed handicap seating).
What a terrible way to represent the City of Greensboro. Shame on you for lying..... I spoke with another Usher Captain at 9:45pm to complain and she apologized and stated that the first Usher Captain should have called the box office and checked availability. She apologized. (Kudos to that one!!!!)
I will call in the morning to file a formal complaint. I wonder if the Supervisor will even do anything. I'm from out of town, so I bet I don't matter to them. They got my money and the other 20 people that came with me.
If I could give zero stars, that would be too much. No parking because they have too many events. Cost of parking depends on the event you are going to see. More construction, less handicap parking. They should be shuttles going back and forth. If you are in the coliseum and want to buy a ticket to a show, you have to leave and either drive around or walk to the box office on High point Rd, and there is no parking in their time limited lot either. All in all a miserable experience and I will not be back. I will drive to Charlotte or Raleigh instead.
Saw Twenty One Pilots here in VIP seats, one of my favorite shows ever! Seats were decently comfortable and the view of Josh and Tyler was great.
Hockey is always a date night fave, especially with other couples. The annex is a great location
Very clean. Friendly staff. Rita in TFA went the extra mile.
5 stars for the parking staff. 1 star for the concession prices. Averages out to 3. Typical coliseum experience.
I had a great experience taking my family to the circus there, there was a seating issue and they quickly did all they could do to resolve it.
Have a great time every time every single time I go.
Visited concert there. Sitting places are a little bit tight and rows are narrow. But I liked the sound and acoustics there.
Giant complex. You'll run right past it if you don't watch carefully. Spacious parking, good venue.
Good place well maintained, prices little high,, drink 4.00.
Me and my 2 brothers go here for a lot of country music concerts and we're always in the pit, which is the best place to be. We also come to the ACC Fan Fest and have a great time at both activities.
The NCHSAA Wresrling States Championship was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE
Great show
OJAYS, Midnight Star and Druid Hill
I was struck last night at the Twenty One Pilots concert that every coliseum employee from the parking lot to the ushers to the concession stand were smiling, friendly and courteous. Needed more ticket takers coming in, but overall excellent experience.
This venue has the worst parking I've ever experienced. It never takes less than 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot after a concert. Traffic is a grid locked mess with no one directing drivers. Totally unacceptable and much worse than other comparable or larger venues in the area.
Huge building and quite old. The food options are overpriced and desperately unhealthy.
Easy parking but they need to mark the bottom of the ramp if they don't want you to enter through the doors.
Awesome venue! However parking could be better and wish they would have had air or fans on..... we were there March 1 and it was so hot that when we left, our shirts were soaked from sweat.
Very nice facility. Would attend another event there.
It was fantastic when my son and I went to watch Paw patrol live.
We went to the colosseum to attend an RV show. The parking was adequate, although a bit pricey. Everything nice enough for what we were there for.
This place is unbelievable, to what you CAN'T bring in, cost of food and bev to staff not kbowing what VIP ticket entrance to go, place is really bad, sorry...
It was really nice. I had attended an event in the schiffman's diamond complex and it was truly amazing. The food that they had served was also wonderful. Hope to visit there again one day
Everyone working there was very nice. Seats to close to next row for comfort. Very few food stands open so minimal selection to eat and then open stands began to run out of food. Very disappointed
Went there to see monster jam, wasn't impressed a little Coliseum and big monster trucks, whoever thought of that should have done a little bit better planning.
Nice facility, good lighting if you're going to evening events.
Went to a chance the rapper concert had a amazing time
Loved Disney on Ice, not the person kicking the chair behind my child. We felt it all the way through all of our seats. Overall experience great, people not so much. Would definitely go again.
Couldnt get a 2nd paper plate for my $10 funnel cake
I love to go when there are festivities of the race
Went for a comedy show with my boyfriend. Had a blast but make sure to bring a jacket. It's almost always cold in there
You have to walk forever to get in. I didn t see any signs about what you can t take inside with you and I had pepper spray attached to my keys and security told me to take it back to my car... um.... NO the concert would be half over by the time I got back and waited to get scanned again. He said my only other option was to throw it in the trash which he did! Hope I don t get jumped before I can get more pepper spray.
Bad parking, hard to figure out where to go, building are not marked well. Lack of signs.
Great venue! But concession prices are out of control! $5 for a soda is crazy!!
Bathrooms were clean and space was adequate for the over 3K that were attending my event. Drive up doesn't have cover so bring an umbrella if raining. Parking was only $5.
Eric Church is a class of his own!!! Coliseum staff and Church crew all great people!?!
Trans-Siberian Orchestra was great! The Greensboro coliseum was nice and clean. No problems had a good time.
Great facility. Always a variety of offerings and events! Great swimming and sports facility.
Truly deserves 0 stars. We bought tickets from ticketmaster and had the barcode ready to scan but their system was down and some
peoples tickets were scanning and others weren t. So then they made us stand outside at the ticket booth while they verified our tickets. They let somebody hop in front of us too and then tried to call security on us because we said that s not fair we were next in line. We were pretty close in line and had to sacrifice being in the front because of this. It was a complete disaster and I have been to over 10 concerts and had my tickets this way and I have NEVER ran into this issue. It was poorly handled and ridiculous people had to take the loss for the staffs equipment.
Very big arena that sits about 25,000 people. However the leg space for the sitting is very small and compact.
Attended the RV show. A large enough place to accommodate a huge selection of RV's for anyone's budget.
