There was no follow up. The project manager never got anything done with the HOA. They said they would put their lawyers on it. It never happened. All promises no delivery. It has been months and they have done nothing. As they say in Texas, all hat no cattle. There are many other higher rated companies.

Since I posted this honest review I have recieved a cease and desist letter. They are afraid of the truth. I guess if you are honest they intimidate you. NOT ME. Tod these crooks to sue me.They are a joke. An expensive joke but a joke. You know an expensive con.

Started in early May. Now we get to have big bills because we relied upon your lies.

If you are reading this please find a reputable company. They have threatened me because my review is acurate and honest. CROOKS!!!

Green solar technology is not a reliable ethical company and has very poor service and solaredge inverter that they use is a poor quality and they don't stand behind it

Am so pleased with the install and the fact that I will have solar power. Cant wait until its activated!!

Everyone worked hard to get us qualified and hooked up for solar. Dennis Boyd has walked through the process with us every step of the say. Dan and his crew of electricians were top notch. We are up and running and loving it.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH GREEN SOLAR WAS SATISFACTORY. THEY ALWAYS TOOK THE TIME TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND MAKE SURE I UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING CLEARLY. MY PROJECT MANAGER JESSIE WAS UNDERSTANDING AND COOPERATIVE. MY ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE PROJECT WAS WHEN I WAS HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS IT WAS TO LATE TO CHANGE MY MIND BECAUSE GREEN SOLAR HAD ALREADY MOVED FORWARD WITH THE PROJECT WITHOUT MY CONSENT AND I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO COME OUT OF POCKET FOR THOSE EXPENSES. BUT AFTER THE PROJECT WAS MOVING ALONG THEY HANDLED AND TOOK CARE OF A FEW SMALLER PROBLEMS AT NO EXTRA COST TO ME. I AM EXCITED TO SEE WHAT THIS SYSTEM IS GOING TO DO FOR ME.

Great experience with Green Solar Technologies. Every step of the process went well and when an issue would occur they worked with us until the issue was resolved to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Green Solar Technologies.

The installers were great knew what they were doing it did take a while to get going but we are very hPpy with the system I d like to have an app to compare energy earned with energy expended

Great product and service. They took care of setting up everything including permits and inspections.

Everyone I've been involved with during this installation has been wonderful. Especially Chris and Dave, my installers. The weather was not our friend to start out with, and they got cold and soaking wet in their attempt to get done as much as they could in that kind of weather. I'm excited to start using my solar panels as soon as my utility company comes to change out my meter! Thanks to all involved!

Update, a year later our system is broken and no one seems eager to fix it. It is July one of biggest months for solar! It has been down for almost the entire month. Will update review when repaired.

I was told one price than was told someone in their department messed up and gave me a higher price. I fell for the sales pitch and agreed to the higher cost. I do not know what I was thinking I guess I thought the person/company had my best interest. I feel as though I should have gotten the first quote with the additional panels. So listen and think about what their selling. As for the installation Green Solar was on top of getting everything done. So I would have given 5 stars if I felt I was not taken advantage of........Update spoke to a rep after my post went up. Lady seemed a little agitated but ok, I then said that I do not think I received the Veteran discount, Rep said "I will look into this and get back to you". It has now been almost a month and I have not heard anything. As I thought about this conversation and what happened during the initial purchase, I know remember the sale person constantly referencing the federal 30% tax rebate that I was going to get so the $30,000 would be mor like $20,000 after I get the tax rebate on if I didn't use all 30% then I could use the rest next year.....Well I did not get any taxes back, I do not have enough taxes to get back. I medically retired from Active duty after 11 years of service so I great state Pennsylvania Grant's me no property taxes for 5 years. So talk with your tax people to ensure you can receive this rebate. It took a couple of days to install. The solar panels are not only producing more energy than we're using, but they are aesthetically pleasing as well.

All the service was done very professionally Gus has been a lot of help with this project the Personnel that installed the project did an excellent job everything was explained very well to me for now let's just move forward and enjoy the system

I started looking into Solar back in May, I was contacted by Green Solar and I received a quote for my house. I got another quote from a local dealer then after further research I decided on Green Solar, I was very satisfied with Robbie and Josh, after I approved the design about a week later the equipment was shipped and the installers did a great job with the installation, the entire crew was very polite and completed the installation in 2 days. SCAM FORMALLY KNOWEN AS AMERCAN SOLAR with MANY LAW SUITS. CLAIM TO BE ESTABLISHED SINCE 1983? LIE! ! ONLY FOR 3 YRS. BEWARE OF GREEN SCAM TECHNOLOGIES

My experience was devastating. I am still dealing with massive damages caused by their subcontractor, which they they state "doesn't; concern them". They subcontractor damaged my roof and caused my entire roof to collapse. Huge damage. We had mold in the walls. We had to deal with serious health hazards. The damage exceed $50K so far and now we have to go to court on top of that. When we contacted them to discuss this matter, they kept sending us away to talk to their subcontractor ROOF RITE. The owner Gabor ignored us first, until we sent pictures pictures and proof of the massive damage they had caused. Gabor just responded with vague excuses, trying to buy time and hoping we would just go away. WE DO NOT GO AWAY! We are now filing a legal complaint. We are placing reviews everywhere because people should know about their unprofessional tactics. Very shady tactics indeed. Feel free to contact me and I give you more details and show you pictures.

The instillation was a little slow but I do live in the country. The installers had to come back a few times but they got it done and were very nice. I am very happy with the solar system.

The process went quickly and very professional. We are pleased to be Solar now.

Once the installation approached, things moved along very nicely and swiftly. The issue I had was primarily in the weeks and months ahead of the instillation. It just seemed to drag on and on, plus there were some oversights as to whose contract was being worked etc. I realize that it is difficult working with the County for permits, etc. but I was not certain that the time frame I was lead to expect was actually being implemented.
I did, however, truly appreciate accessibility of the project manager, planner, finance, etc. If I called them, they quickly responded, either on the spot, or shortly afterwards. I was also given periodic updates and notified of changes. The price was also a lot lower than some of their competitors...3 of which I contacted, and one that I actually signed their contract, but after checking on Green Solar, I was able to cancel the deal within the 3 day rule. The Green Solar sales reps appeared to be very honest and trusting and did not try to sneak in some expensive surprises. What they advertised, is what I got. Lastly, I was VERY impressed with the final sequence of events...the installation, the speed and professionalism demonstrated, the willingness to answer any of my questions, their explanation about how the system works, and their follow-up. They also contacted SMUD for me, and they also offer a hefty referral fee.

So far so good. Everything working as advertised. Hopefully as the years pass all will be the same.

Green Solar Texhnologies has been awesome from start to finish. My panels were installed professionally and in a timely manner. They discovered Oncor/TXU wasn t properly crediting me for the energy I was PepsiCo g and had t been for over a year. They immediately set about getting the problem corrected. Then they reviewed over a years worth of electric bills and issued me a check to compensate for the error made made Oncor. That s what I call service.

After shopping around, I decided to go with Green solar as they had the best price and positive reviews. They all acted professional and did top quality work. There was a period of a few weeks which I didn't hear from them and had to call to ask "what's up?". But I was given a status and you just have to wait your turn. Permits and SCE seemed to take too long and added delays in the process.
Make sure to read on solar power before getting a system. An informed buyer will save thousands.
Overall, I would recommend green solar.

We are very well satisfied with the level of knowledge, professionalism and courtesy offered us by all the employees connected to Green Solar Technologies, including any sub-contractors. The only draw back we've had is the amount of time it is taking for our energy provider to inspect the installation. We have received information for requiring payment from the loan office, but we are still unable to use the service. Payment should not be expected until ALL inspections are complete, and the unit is up and running. As is, we'll have two bills to pay now. Not at all happy about that!!!!

The worst customer service! I ll be short, the panels stopped working in January, it took 2 months to fix it (just replaced the fuse), it broke again a month later, they replaced fuses again! The very same week panels stopped again, this was June, it is November and they still have no idea what the problem is.

Do not buy these panel, they are expensive and useless! And customer service is the worst!!!

Green Solar Technologies is the best place to get solar panels. From the beginning, where we purchased the best made solar panels, and throughout the process of getting all the permits approved to installation, Green Solar Technologies handled each step with their professional team. Their expertise did all the leg work and we went solar quickly. The only problem experienced was winter came in the middle of that and I didn t want anyone on the roof with snow on it. Thankfully we got a few warm days and the contractor did what he could and within 2 weeks all was installed. I would buy all over again with Green Solar Technologies. Great team and company to work with.

PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!! double check their numbers and ask questions!! also record your conversations. As they do EVERYTHING THROUGH THE PHONE!! WHEN THEY TELL YOU THEY ARE SAVING YOU MONEY, ITS NOT TRUE. THEY WILL CALL YOU AFTER YOUR FIRST QUOTE CLAIMING TO SAVE YOU MONEY ON THIS SECOND QUOTE! SALES TACTIC. We OVERPAID by at least 1000+ Dollars Then about another 1000+ dollars in damages to our BRAND NEW ROOF. There financial department CEO is extremely rude, unprofessional, and arrogant!! Should be FIRED!!! I kept trying to go over the numbers with him and send him my calculations on how his are wrong and make no sense and he literally avoided it. Was not clear AT ALL where he kept getting his numbers. just jumped from one number to the next with no explanation and gave me the run around and when I did it with him to show him the number discrepancies He would interrupt me every time I got there and go back and repeat himself. He also didn't even use our numbers! Used the initial quote not the second quote given!!They then over charged us for our roof. they charged us 12000 dollars for a little over 8500 dollar roof and only gave us back 2500 dollars. That is then 9500 we paid when our roof only cost a little more then 8500. The financial guy I dealt with excuse was that they were already giving us a discount. Sooo, it covered that discount. and they "claimed" multiple times they were giving us a deal and not making any money??? okay. Not true at all. it is literally the exact same cost with or without there supposed "deal" according to other houses in our area that got solar with the same SQ footage. we ended up paying more!. We paid 54599 dollars for a new roof and solar panels. which by my calculations should have only cost with fees and extra cost btw around 50800 dollars. with there 2500 dollars they gave us it is about a 1200 dollar difference. These are just round about numbers, but I can show you the exact cost comparison if you like have loads of proof they OVER CHARGED. And to top it all off there Sub (who told them they didn't want to get on the roof cause it was brand new, but was pushed by the company) damaged our roof. our roofer estimated about a 1000 dollars in damage. and of course this company refuses to cover damages. saying its the sub. I HIGHLY DISAGREE. THIS COMPANY IS DEFINITELY LIABLE AS THEY ARE THE MAIN CONTRACTOR AND SHOULD BE THE ONES TO FIX THIS ISSUE. This corporation is OUT FOR YOUR MONEY. DO your research!!!! the only positive is the PM was awesome to work with extremely nice and tried his best to get us some more of our money back, but he can not do anything because that is not his area and he had no pull. I think that is the only time they were being honest . The only other good thing is the solar panels are working pretty good so far, but it has only been a couple months. The subs were very good to. Just saying double check their numbers before agreeing to it and make sure it is all written down and recorded. It sure looks to me we are due AT LEAST another 1000 to 2000 dollars.

Very pleased with my experience with Green Solar technologies. Every member of their staff were very nice and easy to work with!! I've dreamt of having a home solar system installed and they made it extremely easy and workmanship is top notch!! I highly recommend them if you are considering going solar.

The reason it's rating a three is because of the misleading sales pitch from Carl McNeil. While covering the finances option he told me the load will reamortized after the year. He stated the loan was interest rate free for a year. Lastly he promised a chrome book for some of the mistakes while covering his sale pitch. The time came to sign the loan the finance company said the loan will not reamortized that payment will stay the same. Strike two the loan is not interest rate for year as stated by Mr McNeil. Strike I email to obtain the status of the chrome book he promised me in his own accord . He replied back he would work it . A month past I emailed him again and this time he didn't replied at. So a word of warning to anyone dealing with sale man don't trust Him at all!

The staff went out of their way to help us get set up. We did have a few blrubs but we got thru it and are now up and running. Three cheers for those who had to talk us thru problems and for sticking with us till everything was alright.,

Engineers who were not familiar with the products, incredibly long install period, damage to the interior and exterior of both houses (GST did reimburse me for the repairs), incredible amounts of stress and the systems aren t really making a difference. I will not be using GST again.

Hi, We had Green Solar Technologies install solar panel on our roof of house and garage last summer(2018). They work very hard to get things right the first time. They are very professional and competitive on price. We have 2 Tesla s and feel we are do our part to go green. Would not hesitate to use this company again!

I found the guys at green solar very helpful. They worked hard to get me the financing and work it out. The guys that came to set up the solar on the property were very creative. We have worked and looked at putting in the solar system with other companies and no one came up with this same idea and it was very successful

I haven't decided to purchase yet. I will say that everything explained to me and shown to me with the numbers were great. I will definitely be thinking about this and see no reason why not to purchase.

Green Solar took a history of my electric bills and designed the appropriate system for our household needs. My contacts with each member of the company, from sales to finance matters to project manager, were positive. Anytime I had a question, the responses were helpful and educational. If I had it to do over again, I would choose Green Solar for this project.

Green Solar provided all the technical and equipment for my solar system, even though my system has only been in operation for a month I am satisfied with the performance of the system. Green Solar makes financing the system easy and affordable. the only qualms I have with the company is getting in contact with them, some times it took several weeks to get an return call from them.

overall a good experience. just got our ele. bill for May and our solar covered all but $3.40 of the electricity we used.

Green Solar Tech made it very easy for us to get into solar for our home. We already use solar to power cooling fans in the house attic and the shop. We also use solar on our camp trailer to run electric appliances. But the package deal that GST offers makes it very easy to get into solar for our home. They offer assistance getting the financing arranged so that we can take advantage of government rebates or credits early in the process. They designed a very clean-looking system to install on our roof, one I'll be happy to show off to my friends. I recommend using GST to have your solar done.

Working with Jesse Stevenson, our project manager, made our experience very easy from beginning to end. He kept us informed from the day the inspector was coming to make sure the project was possible to the day the inspector came to make sure the project was completed correctly. Communication was provided in a friendly, patient manner & Jesse was always accessible when we had questions. We are very pleased with completed project & would highly recommend Green Solar Technologies without reservation.

The representative who put us in touch with Jesse Stevenson, Harry Gore, was equally excellent & coordinated the whole project very professionally & took the time needed to complete all the necessary pieces. This is a very well run organization in all aspects.

Experience has been good, both wuth project manager Steve and installers Dan and his helpers. Took awhile for state inspector to come and was 1 problem; no papers were left in tube for him but he was,able to make a call and get what he needed.

Phone call with Sandy in Finance office was very good - she was very parient and answered all my questions.

Excellent. System works just like they said it would. Construction went well and we were kept informed. We had only one issue with the electrical subcontractor and Jim, our construction project supervisor took care of that. Everyone fromstarrt to finish were very profesional with their part of the experience. All questions asked were answered swiftly and thoroughly. Installers were on time and kept the area clean. Paperwork was clear and completed quickly. I would gladly recommend this company to friends and family in the future.

You cannot get an easier install. We worked out what we needed, and said go. Installer showed up, installed, cleaned up, and explained everything we needed to know, been saving over 150.00 a month since. All this with nothing down!

The personal at GreenSolar are non commutative. I have ask them to keep me aware of the situation. the installer has hung-up on me. The sola r panels are still in my garage after three weeks.

Before going with Green Solar Technologies, I checked out a few other companies and did my homework about leasing vs purchasing so I understood what I was getting into.

The sales person, Johnny was up front and able to answer all my questions. It wasn't a hard sell since I knew what I wanted and they were able to provide it. I am fortunate to have plenty of south-facing roof space so I was able to get a rather large (10kw) system.

Installation was smooth which impressed me They showed up on time, were very organized and clean and paid a lot of attention to safety.

The whole process was smooth and I was kept informed the entire way through. Thanks Johnny and everyone at Green Solar Technologies.

Let me tell you I've been talking about this for years about going solar but the prices was just to high. I've spoke just about every company you can name solar city they don't give a damn about you your just a number to them me and my wife talked it over she found this company green solar technologies cause my electric bills was eating into our pocket each mouth every year It was going up and up . The first person I spoke with was William this guy was polite he knew all the answer cause we studied up on solar , cause when your talking about spending this kinda of money. You got to make sure it's with the right company and these guys know what they're doing. The first thing William asked me was did I know about solar and how it works? I said yes he was excited that I knew this and then he began to tell me about the company. And before I asked him asked him to send me information it was already in my email and videos to look at this guy was a true professional. He asked me to send my electric bills over to him so he can do some numbers on how much it was going to cost. No pressure sale just straight to the point he said to me your either going to do solar or your not he got back in touch with me and few days told me the numbers and then turned me over to his boss Harold Shield who explained to the rest of the process. They did everything I didn't have to deal with the city pull permits any of that crap. I love my panels I'm seeing my bills go down now and I'm so happy that I went to Green Solar technologies these guys are great if your thinking about solar go to them they know how to treat a customer right, I'm tell all my friends and family about it cause when you get solar from them and you refer someone you get a thousand dollars for everyone you bring in so thanks again Green Solar.

These folks gave me a call about solar energy, referred me to thier website but weren't pushy at all. I did my own research and decided their package was the best quality and value and they were very helpful throughout the process. When the electric company stalled, they stepped in, even after the project was done, and got the activation moving again. So I'm happy!

I'm so dissatisfied with this company. I have had my Solar panels for a year now and I'm only saving 12 dollars a month . Instead of one light bill I also have a bill that was financed for the the solar panels. I have contacted this company for 12 months now and they continue to put me off saying we will put in a fix it ticket and nothing has been done. They don't stand behind their product once they get your money. I'm still trying to get them to do something about this situation. It's been months now they hasn't returned my call nor have they contacted me about coming out to check the solar system. I would not advise any one to deal with GREEN SOLAR Technologies. They lied about the price,the financing and the system is still not operating.way over charged for the product. Dug up my neigbors sewer system. Wish i would have shopped around before i chose them very disasfied.

Wish I could give them a rating of zero stars. This company sold us a solar panel system with many false promises. We still currently have a power bill of $250 each month, which is nearly what we had always paid. Now on top of the regular power bill, we have the monthly bill of the panels plus the loan for the installation. We also had told the company that we wanted the system mounted in the yard, but when they showed up, they put it on our roof instead. We also didn't realize that the system wouldn't be complete with no storage for the energy. This company may be ok to work with in California, but South Carolina folks BEWARE! Wish they would take them back!

Completely took advantage of my elderly mother. Talked her into solar panels, telling her that she would not have an electric bill. Still has an electric bill and now has a solar panel finance bill. The solar panels are financed for 25 years, which means that she will pay double the cost in finance charges. They mislead her the entire way.

Started project layout and cost in late may. System is up and running very well at present. Sales was great, the install went off without any major hitches and all personnel were helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend this firm.

PS 5/29/2019: I have had several months of no electric bill and the rest have been greatly reduced. YES!!!!!

The whole process is easy and they are very helpful, the technician installing the panels informs you of what he is doing and what to expect. I would recommend this to a home in the lower rgv as we should be harvesting the sun.
