Green Solar Technologies Reviews

My situation was a bit unusual. I have buried irrigation and electrical lines and wanted to install the posts and electrical conduit myself to avoid problems. Green Solar worked with me as I completed my portion of the installation which was delayed by heavy rainfall and deep water.

The installation team showed up and connected their parts to my 2 inch posts. My utility was seeing its first solar project and worked closely with me and the installation crew to effect the meter change out. The standard meter was pulled, an output meter was installed and a reversing meter replaced the standard one. Five minutes later, the meters showed I was sending current into the utility grid.

The utility company engineer said it was a textbook perfect install.

I highly recommend Green Solar Tech! From start to finish, the entire project was handled professionally, and in a friendly manner.
We did have a glitch...an unusually long wait (4 months) for county permitting approval. That was the county's fault, and Green Solar complied with the changes the county demanded in a timely manner.
Everyone who came to my house was courteous and polite, especially the installer and his crew.
My project manager, Zuriel, was a pleasure to work with. He kept me informed every step of the way, including during that long 4 months of county inaction.
All in all, a great company to do business with!

I must admit that I was skeptical that everything would be as smooth as the folks at GST made it all sound at the beginning, however it WAS! I didn't have to do anything. The entire process was handled by GST, and I've had solar power cranking for several months now. GST did not misrepresent the amount of power I would be generating, or misrepresent anything. You can trust what they say. I'm extremely pleased with GST.

Process was very easy and everyone at Green Solar Technologies, from the project coordinator to the construction crew were great to deal with. I'm excited about the 7500 watts being produced during peak time with 35 panels. Going green never felt so good!!

Great product! Had solar pannels put up when tge weather wasnt as nice as it could of been! They woeked very hard to get everything done and set to start producing electric. Recommend to people who either want to save money, help the enviornment, live off the grid or all the above!

I had researched a few different companies and came up with green solar, I believe it was the better product, between the sales department and my project manager and the installation all pretty much went as it was supposed to, installation went a little longer than I thought it should have, but it is the busy time of the year so I do understand , again, I think it was the better product.....

My experience with Green Solar was super! My project manager was very informative about the whole process. He went over the layout of the panels,the power output,the permit process,the install time frame and set up all of the financing details for me. My installer called me and set up a time at my convenience. They showed up on time and did the install in a efficient and friendly way. I was totally happy with the aesthetics of the install and really impressed with efficiency of the whole process.

These guys are friendly and professional at first, but if you need their help or you cross them, god help you. The supposed CEO left me a nasty voicemail and text message basically calling me a deadbeat. He also said he didn't care what my work schedule was and that I needed to work my schedule around them. If the CEO of a company will treat you like that, makes you wonder how customer service will be like years down the road. I wish I could post the voicemail or text message on here.

Trez and Jake Stevenson are very rude and unprofessional people!!! DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY!!! Because if you do then they will keep bothering you by emailing, mailing and calling you all the time!!! These people are scammers and thieves!!

I guess there is a misperception. When one has solar power, it only means you can produce energy and sometimes they might buy it back.. But if there is an there's an outage in your area, you will also experience it! Hopefully, the excess energy that will be produced by our system will be sufficient to accumulate extra credits so that we no longer have to pay for electricity. Thanks to Green Solar Technologies!

Green Solar Technologies is an awesome company. The experience of installing solar was pleasant from beginning to end. The entire company from the salesperson to the installer were all friendly and willing to help solve any issues that arose. When I had questions, someone always called me back promptly to provide answers. Everyone was professional and yet human enough to care and show concern. I would highly recommend their product and services.

Green solar was a great experience. Very professional and got the work done with no setbacks.

Scam artist. They use fake reviews to up their ratings. Do not trust them! They operate under other names as well. The owner is Nick Svick and has Ben bared from California to be a licensed contractor.

Green Solar Technologies just completed a 17.1 KW solar system on the roof of our 28 x 64 pole barn. The barn was built as a part of the solar project on a net-metering agreement with Dayton, Power & Light (DP&L). I also had them install a whole house 22 KW Generac generator, so if the grid goes down, we will not be without power. We did not do a battery storage solution as there are more cost effective alternatives to Lithium Ion Battery storage like H2 generation and storage. Jesse Stevenson, the project manager was instrumental in every step of the way in the success of this project. As with every project, there are many challenges, like weather delays and minor miscommunications, but there wasn t anything that couldn t be overcome by the persistence and tenacity of the Green Solar Technologies staff and all the prime and sub contractors involved! Special thanks to DIY Pole Barns, Collosal Construction, Inc., YellowLite, Hauser & Brinnen, & DP&L.

Absolutely the worst company you could ever deal with... Check rip off reports before doing any business with these people. It's a shame they are allowed to do business anywhere in planet Earth.

Rip off sales company who sub contracts work to companies not qualified to do the work.

I put down a deposit because Sal my salesman rep told me I had to do that to show that I was serious about looking into the panels. Long story short, I ended up going with another company who gave me a better price, and 6 months later, I'm still trying to get my deposit back. No one is returning my phone calls. I've called at least 7 times and have emailed Sal personally..Nothing!! This company is shady!! Should never have given them any $ as a deposit!!

Our installation was handled very efficiently and quickly. The only objection was the installation of conduit. A run through the attic would have been preferable, with the minimum visible on the wall. Otherwise, we are very happy with the installation.

Took a little longer to get the system installed and running than originally planned. Delays caused mainly by the shipper. Overall very satisfied with results!

Our experience w/ Green Solar was a confident decision.

I ordered Green Solar Technologies,the company was very friendly and installed the system on a timely bases.They knew what to do and they cleaned up any mess that was made.I am waiting for X-Cell to finish up so I can start to use my system.

Brian Eini in Sales & Finance pitched me on purchasing solar for my home in Sherman Oaks 6 years ago and I have saved so much money on my electric bill. last month I only paid $8 for my bill and $200 to pay of the panels. my electricity bill used to be close to $400 a month in my five bedroom house. Not only has it been great for my wallet but also the environment! Staff is super friendly and dedicated to helping me save! Highly recommend their services.

They took care of all the red tape and dealt completely with the electric company (PECO)- couldn't have been easier. I'm very confident in the quality of the product. A shout out to Alien Fuel Solar Energy Solutions of Langhorne for fast efficient and clean installation. Highly recommend both of these companies.

Green Solar Technologies offered a first class solar system and arranged installation of that system by an exceptional installer. I am very satisfied with Green Solar Technologies' planning and design and their use of high quality solar equipment. Their complete service also extends to the financial arrangements to allow a distributed power solar system to be paid for in a realistic time period. Their 30/70 loan plan made it feasible for me to install a state of the art solar system that will pay for itself in output of energy and also when I eventually sell my house.

I wish I could leave a 5 star review like so many others, but this companies customer service is some of the worst I have had to deal with.

This company took a very long time to start my install. Every time I spoke to them, they had a different excuse as to what was causing the hold up. When I told them I wanted to cancel, I was informed I would be charged $10,000 to get out of the deal. When the install finally started, the local crew was great. However, unsurprisingly there were issues, and every time Green Solar said someone else was to blame. Now that the system is operational I am still experiencing problems. The monitoring app has not worked in almost a month. When the monitoring app worked, I saw several panels that are producing way less than others. I have contacted Green Solar to discuss possible solutions and for over a month all I get is we are looking into it and will get back to you.

Update 11/26/19:
The day after I posted this review, the company contacted me promising to fix the problems. Waiting to see how it goes.

Update 12/11/19
My monitoring app is working now, but it was the local installer who helped with that not Green Solar. It has been 2 weeks since this company promised to contact me regarding my other issues, and nothing.

Great experience purchasing the solar pnels from the beginning. Knowleadgable staff that can answer questions and explain details of the system as well as look for the finance that suits your needs. So far it's been very good but I am stil waiting for the electric company locally to finish up on their part but so far it's been a great experience with Green Solar technologies.

The two gentlemem that installed my solar system were very professional and knowledable they were able to answer all my questions completely and in a way I could understand. Thank you Green Solar Technologies for a job well done!

From start to finish, the green solar team did an awesome job of keeping us in the loop every step of the way.

I got a sales call from these guys and it was the only sales call I've ever responded to! They moved the process forward really quickly and were super accommodating with my busy schedule. They took care of all the financing and got me a great rate. Jacob, the project manager, was a superstar. When I buy my next property I'll definitely be using them again. Thank you guys!

So far not good. Signed the contract in December, and after storing the solar panels in my garage for over 3 months, it was finally installed In late March. They said the delay had to do with my HOA, but they did I not even start the HOA paperwork until the middle of February. It should have been started in December. Since the beginning, we have had 1 solar panels out of the 27 that was very under producing, and it took over 6 months of complaining before someone finally came out to replace it. It was not until I threaten to call a lawyer that they finally reacted. Also all the 27 solar panels are not producing as much as they were in the first few months, so I know there is more issues with the solar panels. We already spent so much money having them installed, I don t want to spend any more money having someone else figure out if there is also any wiring/electric issues. We went from not paying anything to Edison in the first 3 months, to now having to paying during (what is supposed to be) peak production summer months. And with 27 panels, we estimated that ever month we were supposed to receive a credit. Also the layout (where the panels are supposed to sit on the roof) that was approved by the city is not the same layout that is actually on my roof.

Project management of the whole deal was amazing. The communication from start to finish was top notch. I would highly recommend this company and will make sure that everyone I know that is interested in solar solutions go with Green Solar Technologies.

I have only had Green Solar Panels for a few months, but I am really happy with the choice that I made to install them. I have already seen the benefits and savings of my choice to go with Green Solar. I will continue to spread the word how beneficial this choice is.

We just had our solar system installed working with Robbie Hebert and Josh Kval at Green Solar Technologies. These men were focused and provided attention to detail on all facets of this project. Our equipment and supplies came in quickly and the install crew with Alternatex had them on the roof the day they picked them up. This project was a completed with no issues what so ever. I appreciate how I was able to provide input on where the solar panel would be positioned. The entire project was completed with professionalism of the highest level.

These guys know how to get the job done. The equipment, technologies and installation were perfect. Though the price may be steep at first the advantages of solar and what we are doing or not doing to the environment is fantastic.

I don't have anything negative to say.
1) the whole experience was made easy
2) everyone I worked with was very professional and they wanted to please me at every step
3) the end product was beyond my expectations
4) the installation team was polite and hard working. We had bad weather, didn't matter, they worked in it and into the dark.

Green Solar was knowledgeable and professional. From sales and financial consulting, through material delivery and project supervision, a specific consultant was available each step of the process. Initially, I was slightly concerned to learn the "local" installers were 7 hours away, but I couldn't have been more pleased with the friendly and knowledgeable installation crew, and the care and respect they showed me and my property. I can't wait to have the system turned on and begin offsetting my electric bill.

Horrible. I had a leak due to their poor install. Zuriel the project manager is horrible. No follow up. They send a sub contractor that s work is horrible. They will not address my concerns. Don t do business with them.

This entire project was completed exactly as expected. Everything was explained in detail, and carried out and completed in a very professional and timely manner. Everyone from the salesman, project manager and construction crew nice, friendly, and competent. I am very pleased and if I decide to install solar panels on another project, I will use Green Solar Technologies of north Hollywood, CA.

When I got this started I had trouble getting answers from the sales person, the job supervisor & the contractor. They each would say "get ahold of ...."
It took some time, but I got it worked out. The installation was fast & clean. I am very happy with my $5.00--6.00 PG&E bill each month. I had trouble getting signed into the monitoring site. For 12 months I tried. I finally got in touch with Jayleen Brooks, Customer Service & she fixed it right away. If you stay on top of them Green Solar Tech. will give you a great product.

Couldn't be more happy with Green Solar. The solar advisers were extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. My project manager really made the experience enjoyable and was tirelessly working to make sure all my needs were met when it came to my solar project. 5 stars all the way!

Green Star Technologies has been awesome. My solar panels have reduced my electric bill bu more than half. The installation was professional and fast. No pressure sales. The staff is always available if I should need assistance. I highly recommend Green Solar for your solar needs.

Very sketchy company. They will say a deal over the phone but not write anything down and want you to give your dob, ss number, full name.... First solar company that i researched to do this. I asked Yaniv to send me a proposal so i can compare and think about with family that were not present during phone call. He argued with me a long time about sending me what their offer was in writing. Then finally he said he would put in email what offer was. However he never sent it. He later argued with me more that he sent it... How about just try sending it again or have a professional offer written up before you expect me to give personal information. Needless to say I am not going with this company. Try any company but this one!

I used green solar to install a grid tied 9.9kwh system and had no issues. After they finished with there install they didn't leave any mess behind. Did a very good job. Would highly recommend

I don't know all those five start reviews came from. May be real customers or may be paid to do the reviews. Here is my story with this company. The sales man named SAL came by and took our signatures saying it is not going to affect anything and will be able to cancel within 2 weeks. He needed it because he needs to see if we can get the solar subsidies. Since the time he left, we tried to call him and his company on several occasions and left messages too, but no call back or emails. Just a heads-up.

My experience with Green Technologies was trouble free. Everything that I was promised has come to pass. The financing was approved as promised. The installation was completed early and my solar generation system has been inspected and approved. Hamilton Electric placed the system in parallel operation with with their system seven days prior to the promised date.
I have and will continue telling my friends and neighbors about my system and recommending that they contact Green Technologies about a similar system.

Stay very far away from these people the salesman are pushy and slimy and not trust worthy. The installer was a complete idiot sloppy work half his crew quit in the middle of the job

Dennis was very helpful in coordinating the diagnosis and replacement of faulty Invertor.

The solar panels work just as we expected. We have used 0 kWh for the last 2 months.

One year now of our solar panels in full operation and we're very pleased. We had one small problem when one of the cells stopped working and the company sent out a technician and replaced it promptly. Great customer service and we're loving the zero electric company bills.
