We we're "upgraded" to a condo room. It was larger than what we booked, but was also very far away from all the activities. It was very loud, too. We we're on the main floor and could hear all movement on the floor above us. Also, two suites sit behind a shared door that has a deadbolt. At one point, the people in the other suite locked that main door deadbolt and we couldn't get into our room. It was a very strange setup! The water park was great and we enjoyed the arcade. The kids loved Magiquest (although my husband and I thought Wizard Quest downtown was cooler). You can get Dippin' Dots anywhere in the resort, which is awesome! The restaurant was ok but nothing special. All in all, it was a good visit. I think our kids are at the top end of the age range, though, at 8 and 10.

Absolutely one of our best times at Great Wolf Lod...

Absolutely one of our best times at Great Wolf Lodge. Stayed in a two bedroom plus loft condo two week's before Memorial Weekend. I went to Walmart two miles away and purchased fruit, milk, cereal, yogurt, frozen pizza and snacks. We left our vacation not feeling ill from having to eat out for a week. Always a plus! Know that the walk from the condo area is quite a bit farther then the regular rooms.

The life guards were again always walking and checking their pools and water rides. I believe they are the most diligent and highly trained out of all the water parks and public pools we have been to all over the country. And most certainly from what our friend's have said, in The Wisconsin Dells. We have only stayed at Great Wolf Lodge for many reasons, one of them being they do not sell day passes to the general public. Another because they are small kid friendly.

We have vacationed here with our daughter's twice a year for the past 6 or 7 years and we have witnessed on going Life Guard training in CPR and in actual life saving techniques each visit. Plus, you see the supervisors walking around constantly.

With the exception of one second shift front desk supervisor of two years whose name I have forgotten(However, I will find out to post here because he was that lazy, rude and incompetent.) the staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make guests happy.

The second shift public area housekeeping staff was awesome! When I ran out of Green Clean they helped me out. See below.

Also, a female second shift Merchandising Supervisor (Not sure of her title, but will update her info as well.) was super nice, professional all while having to give breaks to employees all over the building. And she seemed happy and to really like her job.

The guy working in Magic Quest was very knowledgeable, nice to us and seemed to really like his job too. He also worked near the wave pool selling swim suits. He looked liked he worked there our last several visits. Great guy!

The best part is my kid's had another fantastic vacation and will cherish the memories the same way they have from all our other visits. They did not want to leave. Then again, I wanted to stay longer too!!

My only advice, besides firing that rude desk supervisor, is to train the housekeepers to clean the railings, (both sides) clean the light switches, tv remotes, inside the refrigerators, table tops including coffee tables (the wooden tables were all sticky) end tables and wipe off the couches. Our visit was during a week of 20% occupancy. The housekeeping staff had plenty of time to deep clean all winter. The whole bottle of Green Clean I used was not due to a week or two of not cleaning well. The railings were literally black and had vlearly been neglected for years. I had to scrub the condo for over 4 hours. Cleaning on our first night at Great Wolf was not part of my plan on vacation. I didn't get to eat dinner or enjoy the wave pool with my family that first night because I didn't finish cleaning until 11pm.

One more thing for housekeeping. Please look at the pillows-both sides- that you put on the beds to make sure long dark hairs are not stuck to them. Yuck!!

After I cleaned the nastiness from the condo on our first night and had a good nights sleep our vacation was salvaged due to the rest of the employees being wonderful, courteous and nice. Unlike previously mentioned front desk supervisor.

Therefore, I rated our stay 5 Stars. Another great vacation at Great Wolf Lodge!

Location is close to many attractions and dining. Has TONS of fun projects during the day to keep children entertained. I would definitely recommend doing Magiquest during your stay if possible. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth the money. It does take a few hours to complete, but it is a perfect for break from the water parks, and you dont even have to leave the hotel because it is connected to it!!!! The service is wonderful!!! The restaurant inside the hotel is very good price wise and it is delicious!! Hotel attendants were very kind and helpful. P.s. If you have little ones the paw pass is DEFINITELY worth it!!!!!!

The accommodations are 2-star.

The accommodations are 2-star.

Celebrated my 30th bday, just a couple looking for a quick getaway. Checked with the front desk upon check in that our room was in a slightly more adult area (read: quiet, less children running through the halls) which she said yes we were on the 4th floor in just that situation.

The room was right next to the highway & the balcony door was so thin it may have been open, not blocking out any noise.

After a call to the front desk asking for any upgrade options (willing to pay more for a quiet room) the front desk manager was so rude! Ma am, there s nothing else to do. When there were definitely plenty of rooms open via the website.

The redeeming quality is definitely the waterpark! Lots of fun rides and some are pretty thrilling.

Loved the experience. Easy to find the hotel just hard to find the room because the floors are labeled kind weird throughout the hotel it's kind of confusing. Other than that I really liked it. I like that unlike other watermarks this one only allows guests who stay at the hotel to go to the water park whereas other ones allow people who are not staying to also come.

This is the perfect place if you have kids 12 and under. They can go on almost all of the slides as long as they are over 42 inches and many with an adult even if they are not quite tall enough. The kids had so much fun and we were so happy with our choice to stay here! Our children loved having a loft suite and they loved story time and meeting violet. My older son loved the tornado. The prices for food, drinks, and merchandise are very reasonable even compared to some of the other resorts. I only wish we had stayed here more than one night. We will definitely be back.

Well first when we arrived on 11/11/2018 to great wolf in wisconsin dells we didn't get the rooms that we pay for and also the keys to the rooms didn't work and after they fix the problem with the keys we got into the rooms. Once in the rooms we notice that in one of the rooms the sheets had blood on them
Really nasty. I call front desk and complain about it and the manager kelsie took care of us in the nicest way possible. She fix everything and for that reason I can say I will go back to great wolf again next year.

The cleanliness of the whole resort especially the rooms were off the scale. You actually see the staff multiple times a day sanitize all common areas. I was blown away by the accessibility to the whole resort with out having to leave the building to play or eat. The interaction of the the was amazing no matter what they were doing, they wanted to make sure you were having a great time. We will definitely be back.

Room was subpar and kinda dirty. I've never been at a hotel that didn't at least put a fitted sheet on the ,mattress/bed. Mold on the shower curtain. When I called about it it seemed like a normal problem as the lady at the front desk finished my sentence.

I guess you get what you pay for -- $99 a night seemed reasonable, but I would never pay more than that. This seems like a place for families to go that cannot afford Kalahari. Next time it will be either wilderness or kalahari.

We should've stuck with Kalahari. First hour we showed up, my mom walks into something sticking out from where the bed skirt is - come to find out, it was a metal rod. Not just one, but three metal rods. Her ankle swelled up but I guess you could say at least it wasn't fully exposed or else a cut would've definitely occurred. I was shocked and...frankly, I still am. The female supervisor showed up, shifted the bed frame with a maintenance guy, blamed it on housekeeping, apologized and basically put it on us to come up with what we want for reciprocation, otherwise she offered 25% off one night out of three. None of it felt okay and her nonchalant and unsurprised attitude was all the more unsettling. I can't even imagine the kind of injury a child could've gotten from that if they fell on any of those. My biggest other issue is after being at the pool from 1 to 6 pm, my two kids are coughing like crazy. The youngest has been on and off crying about her legs hurting and after putting lotion thinking it'd help, she's now REALLY crying. I find it very odd....and reading through other reviews about the intense chlorine, I can already put two and two together here. My husband says his skin is still burning and I'm honestly surprised my skin is itching like it is. We were planning to utilize the pool after checkout tomorrow but that's definitely not happening - I'm honestly most worried about the constant coughing from the kids. We've stayed at Kalahari most over the last five years and once at the wilderness on the lake. I would never have my family here again - between housekeeping apparently leaving metal rods sticking out from the bed and my kids now coughing like this, something is not right here. Other minor irritants that make you wonder: no directory in room, no trash can in each room for a two bedroom suite, crumbs on foldout couch with strand of hair, coffee unreplaced after housekeeping came that day, no exit map on inner room door (is this even legal to not have posted in room?), no room service aside from GWL pizza place, no map of indoor waterpark area and lastly, $161 for a cabana - only #6 left - no thank you.

Nice place but really geared towards younger kids. 9-year old son was bored after a few hours. Ended up getting a day pass to Chula Vista for more advanced water slides. Again, nice place just for younger kids, I'd say 7 and under.

The location was awesome. Right off the freeway. The room itself was spotless when we got there but there was a bit of trash out on the first floor patio that may or may not have been left by the previous tenants. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Great for a fun family trip. Lots of variety in the water park and tons that even smaller kids can do - we've gone here a few times since our daughter was 4 and there were plenty of slides she could ride even back then. Love the evening activities for kids too: pajama dance party, story time, etc. This year we did the MagiQuest game as well and I am glad we waited till age 6 for that.

Nice rooms and facilities! It's extremely geared towards kids / those of a younger age, so don't expect your teens to have their dream vacation here. Water park is cool and fun for a while, but not the biggest. Was there over the 4th of July and had some pretty cool fireworks! Overall good experience.

As both an employee and the guest I would definitely recommend the Great Wolf Lodge. I've never felt as part of a family as I do at Great Wolf Lodge and working for them as well. It doesn't matter what age you are you can be an infant all the way up to 60. My mother has more fun at this place than me and my two younger sisters who are in their mid-twenties combined

Wonderful place for the family, and at a reasonable price. The water park is great, but what makes GWL awesome are the added attractions. My boys loved MagiQuest. The Halloween trick-or-treating was fun and nightly dance hour capped off great evenings. Throw in the bowling alley/game center and the outlet mall which are both within walking distance and you have a great vacation for the whole family. We will be back. 10 out of 10!

I think it could have been better if that were straight up with their prices. But of course they don't tell people that there is a 34.99 a day thank you for using us fee. Oh I'm sorry a resort fee. And the taxes upon taxes that you need to pay for.

Our kids love this place. Usually go at least once a year. We've only been here in the winter so I can't really review the outdoor waterpark, but the inside is great. There's 3 main rooms of the waterpark with different attractions and slides. Very kid friendly and lots of lifeguards. There's concessions all over too. In addition to the waterpark they have Magiquest on the far end. It's a nice way to break up pool time and the kids can climb 4 floors of rope nets and slide from one floor to another in tube slides while playing the quests. The hotel rooms are well maintained and clean unlike some other resorts in the area. We've stayed at Great Wolf Lodge properties in Niagara and Traverse City, both also great, but the Wisconsin Dells one is the best.

Love that the water park's variety of attractions appeal to infants through adults. Good staff supervision of water park activties. Our condo was the perfect size for our kids, grandkids and us to spend time together as well as have some privacy. This was the perfect setting for our family celebration! Thank you Great Wolf for a wonderful weekend!

Had an overall decent stay. Hotel room was large and clean, but did have a bad smell near the refrigerator in the room. 1st floor room was a blessing and a curse. Super close to parking lot and water park, but were placed under a family of stampeding elephants. Thankfully it wasnt too late into the night. The water park was full, but not too crowded to find a spot to lay our things while in the pool/slides. We enjoyed having breakfast at the lodge during our 3 night stay, but would have liked a little variety in the "voucher breakfast". The service was also a bit slow and the waitstaff seemed overwhelmed. This place was a total family zone, so I can't really hold the negatives against them.
