Five stars is not enough! Making canine dental cleaning affordable.

My kitty was sick to the point she couldn't eat. Called my regular vet and they said they couldn't get her in until the next week. I called Great Value and even though I had never been there they got me in the same day! And charged me half of what I would've paid at my regular vet! Great service and very friendly staff. This is now my new vet even though it is 30 minute from my house. Definitely worth the drive.

It seems great, they don't actually let you go inside right now due to COVID, so I never got to talk with the doctor, however the nurse was awesome and answered all my questions and the price is unbeatable. We will definitely be going back.

I have brought both of my dogs here for their rabies and general check ups. Both times I have had amazing service and even a good laugh with some of the staff. They are friendly and have treated my boys like their own! I recommend them to anyone who asks!

So glad I found this clinic! The staff is awesome and our dogs have been so well cared for. We used the laser therapy for our giant sized dog and are very happy with the results. We also just had our Yorkie puppy neutered and they did a great job with pain management, etc. Would highly recommend them!

My hubby and I recently adopted a dachshund. She is amazing, but her breath was terrible! We tried lots of dental chews and nothing was helping. Our regular vet suggested a cleaning but the estimate they gave us was over $600! I drove 30 minutes to get to great value pet clinic, but it was well worth it! They did a dental and an extraction for a third of what my regular vet quoted us. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable and they took great care of my Munchkin! The best part, her breath is amazing! I really appreciate your clinic and will send all of my friends your way!

NEVER!!!!!!! First they require $50 upfront just to make the appointment red flag number one. Second the lady on the confirmation called told me to be there between 815 and 830 to drop off my dog. When I arrived at 8:15 all I got was massive attitude! Shaking of the head argumentative and just plain absolutely rude. If they treat their customers that bad imagine how bad they treat their pets!

My dogs teeth cleaning has always been done well here. It's affordable. They are honest about how much work is needed. They take great care of my puppy.

We had really great experience last week with our older cat needing dental Work. They thoroughly explained what she would need and took very good care of her. She is back to her old self and we couldn t be happier with our experience here! Amazing staff and we definitely don t mind having to travel 30 min to see these wonderful folks!

Friendly staff. Not good for serious issues. Only useful for most basic of appointments. Beware any medicine they give out for your pets. Ours was expired.

This is a family vet and I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. They are caring loving people. I have never been to a vet that I care so much about wonderful doctor

I took my Chi mix the first time for vaccinations. Today he had his teeth cleaned. Prices are very reasonable and staff are friendly and willing to answer questions. Highly recommend.

Quite disappointed, I had been taking my pup here for years. I received and email that he was in need of vaccinations so I took him in. The vet tech notified me of his vaccinations and I inquired about his heart worm injection in which she said he did not receive the injection and I could call to check if he was due for it. I called the following day and they made it seem as if It was urgent I get him back immediately although they know I live an hour and a half away and their hours are very limited. Needless to say, I took my dog to another vet where I had to pay for another vet visit instead of just getting it all done at the same place as they should have ensured. $200 needless dollars spent when the vet tech could have just checked to see if he received his shot and taken him in while we were there.

I must also add, I took my dog to great value pet clinic one time because he has had a raw/pink nose that does not seem to heal. The vet said that there was nothing he could do for that and suggested I tattoo my dogs nose? I kindly told him that I did not care what my dogs nose looked like for cosmetic reasons but that it seemed uncomfortable for my pup. Immediately upon taking my dog to a new vet, the first thing the vet mentioned was his nose without me even bringing it up. She expressed concern as this could be a zinc deficiency. I am still flabbergasted that such a seasoned
Vet would not even bring this to my attention as it is a common problem with arctic breed dogs and I have a husky. Needless to say, I m quite happy I found a new place to take my vet. Not worth the value saved for your animals well being to be sacrificed

Love this place they always take good care of me and my pets

I drove well over an hour to come here for a dog I recently adopted from a shelter that desperately needed a teeth cleaning. The staff was friendly, the clinic is clean and I felt confident my sweet boy was in good hands there. They have, by far, the best prices for teeth cleaning and extractions if needed. My only gripe is that for post operative fluids and recovery medicines there is a $60 charge that was not listed online or discussed over the phone. Its not unreasonably expensive and is optional but it did catch me off guard. I of course opted for it but I was concerned that even simple IV fluid was not provided during anesthesia unless paid for.

About 2 months ago I got a little puppy... it had been awhile so I went shopping for new vets. A friend recommended Great Vaule so I decided to take him there. Really good choice! I hardly had to wait and was in and out. My puppy got his shots without even knowing. Also very friendly staff!

I had a very unfortunate experience here. I took my cat in for a tooth extraction and the vet made a mistake taking out the catheter and harmed my cat. She has a cut on her foot because of this mistake. She was very apologetic and insisted that this has never happened before. I am not giving a lower rating because the staff was beyond friendly and very helpful. But it is painful to see my cat in unnecessary pain, she has been walking around with a limp, and the bandage is causing her much grief. All of this could have been avoided if it wasn t for the vets unfortunate mistake. However this place saved me $700 for the tooth extraction, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Great service & super friendly staff. They were able to get me in immediately/short notice for a specific situation. My cat is back to acting like his old self!! Thanks bunches!!!!

Worse place ever. My neighbor took her dog there for surgery. This clown forgot which side of her pet he was supposed to do the surgery on. A very serious pet surgery and this guy doesn't record something as simple as which side the surgery is on.

Always a great experience. I really appreciate having an amazing place to take our two dogs for their shots and teeth cleaning. Their pricing is a nice bonus.

Candy, Natalie, Ben and the Dr. were so compassionate and caring when I bought in my sick cat Misty while traveling through Colorado Springs. They quickly examined her, did labs and the Dr called me within 2 days to review the results & treatment. They were recommended by locals and prices were reasonable. Thank you all again for professional & competent care!

The people are amazing. I was in great need after my cat's tail was degloved. Everyone I went to that morning wanted to charge me over $1,600, I simply did not have it. I called the humane society and the only way they would treat my cat, is if I surrender him. I said no. I called about financial help and I would have to wait for approval which might take a couple of weeks. I called our family vet back in Texas and he instructed me how to cut off his tail with a razor blade and how to take care of it. He said if I was there he would do it for $100. My cat had survived, it's been almost 4 years ago. I have taken pets to other vets here in the Springs and they wanted to charge over 500 just to evaluate my cat, sadly I didn't have it at that moment. That cat died January 1st 2013. I wished I would of known about Great Value Pet clinic back then. All my growning up years we had animals and we worked closely with our vet to care for their needs, and only for the big stuff like our horse needing to be sewn up did we take the horse in for that. Many times I remember administering medication, dipping our dogs for fleas, giving our animals shots of antibiotics. I remember us birthing cows and horses. We delivered kittens and dogs. We had all kinds of animals we cared for. It's a crying shame the pain and agony an animal has to endure because of the coldness and greed of human vets. My cat and I have a special bond because I bought to find him care in my budget and was totally prepared to do the work myself, but God provided me with this vets information and he is our long term vet, because he didn't take advantage of the situation, and that means a lot to me and my family. The vets around Powers and Northcare area will never gave my business or support because they tried to milk out of me more money than was neccessary.

very friendly - their prices are less than half of what other vets have quoted me - and they do a terrific job - both of my dogs needed extractions and everything went well and the dogs were not stressed! The doctor explained exactly what he did. I appreciate that they don't over-charge like most vets. We have 3 older dogs and all of them get their teeth cleaned at Great value! They specialize mainly in dentals ( which also means that they have a LOT of experience in this area) and vaccinations.
Most vets try to up-sell dentals, wellness checks, require expensive blood panels, and charge more for older dogs and will nickel and dime you for ever little fluoride rinse and suture ...

This has been the best experience Bambi and I have ever had at a vet. Chris was walking me through exactly what would happen when a little dog started crying. His owner had already left. One of the techs went over and picked him up. I knew at that moment I was in the right place ( this was our first time there). I highly recommend this place.

This is a fantastic facility! My senior cat needed emergency dental care and this clinic was suggested to me by a friend. The front office manager, Candy, was absolutely wonderful - she squeezed me in for a quick appointment to get Adele (cat) out of pain and then bent over backwards to help me find a slot in their already full schedule so that my kitty could be seen ASAP for care. Not only did she take care of Adele, but she put my anxiety at ease from the stress of an emergency with my pet. The vet assistant, Amanda, took excellent care of Adele from start to finish and never ceased to provide the upmost patience and kindness with her (she's a mean old kitty). The entire staff made me feel my pet was as important to them as she is to me, I highly recommend this clinic.

My pet needs a monthly allergy depo shot and they are wanting to charge an exam fee every single time he needs it again. I feel like we are being taken advantage of and there should be no reason for an exam fee when my pet has already been diagnosed and needs this about 12 times a year. Will not be returning.

I needed my cat to be seen they were so kind and courteous it was about helping your pet and doing what the animals best interests

Nice country vet doctor. If you want a vet for a good quality service with reasonable cost and a to build a family relationship with you and your pets. This is where you need to go.

My dog had his first teeth cleaning this past week at age 7. He had 10 teeth removed that absolutely needed to come out. His teeth were honestly disgusting before hand. Not only are they all white now but he is no longer in pain which is the most important part. They saved me a fortune and also catered to my separation anxiety. Couldn't be happier with my experience.

This clinic has competitive prices and extremely friendly service, however their veterinary work is substandard at best. I took two of my pets here for procedures and both experienced complications that were severe enough that they required remediation at other clinics at an extremely high cost - one had to receive emergency surgery to save her life.
If you love your pets, take them elsewhere. The savings you may receive here is not worth the risk to your pets.

Great Value Pet Clinic has taken great care of our animals. We have had wonderful experience with Great Value Pet Clinic. Our first serious experience with a dog that had be put to sleep because one of terminal cancer. Not only was Dr Clothier deliver the heartbreaking news with compassion, when it became obvious that our Max was in so pain that was cruel keeping him alive, he gently gave the appropriate medication for the final sleep. Chris and Ben came in the examination room and sat with us until Max was in his final sleep. Our next sad animal experience with one of our animals where Great Value Pet Clinic was stood by us with compassion was with Cleo. Cleo was a rescue puppy and Great Value Pet Clinic took care of her the moment, she was brought into our home. She was in our home for many years and she was a great dog. And the Great Value Pet Clinic was there taken great care of her. One day out of the blue, she lay down and die. Tearful we took to the Great Value Pet Clinic and Chris gently came out to the car and took care of Cleo. Next we have Gus who is usually a happy dog, but I was gone on a trip and Gus was left with my husband. Gus developed an allergy that needed to be treated again, Dr Clothier and his great staff took care of the problem. Plus, the lead my husband through the process since I usually take care of the animals. I would never take my animals to another place to take care of my animals.

Had pets teeth pulled and it was half the price of any other clinic. Worth the drive. The staff was friendly as well.

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a veterinary clinic. I honestly don't know how he is in business. My daughters and I took our new puppy in for her second round of shots. The vet tech was great, she did an examination & asked some routine questions. When the veterinarian came in he didn't even look at me, he said maybe 4 words to me total...gave her the shot & told us we were done. No exam, he didn't look at her or touch her aside from giving the shot. He also acted completely irritated at my kids. I paid $76, for shots & an exam that the vet didn't even do. I commented about this to the vet tech & she said yeah, he's having a bad day. I don't care if you're having a bad day you could at least be kind & DO YOUR JOB! They made me a follow up appointment & needless to say I will not be going back there. I would pay twice as much to go somewhere else!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Three times out of 4 visits the front desk staff attempted to add an extra $20-$25 charge to my bill. When detected, the response was "oops; sorry".

The professional veterinary staff mis-diagnosed my dog's condition and sold me a prescription for $57.00 that I could get at King Soopers pharmacy for $4.00!!! When I asked for the next prescription to be phoned in to the pharmacy I was told it would only happen if I paid a $10.00 telephone fee.

It appears that this clinic reels people in with the $125 teeth cleaning fee (which is for very small dogs, by the way. The fee goes up for medium and larger dogs). And, then they try to slip in additional charges all over the place to make up the difference.

Misdiagnosis on two of my dogs and one of my cats has caused me to decide that we get what we pay for and the "great value" here is not worth the lives of my beloved animals.

We have been here twice and everyone is so nice and caring! Both times have been for teeth cleanings for my Jack Russell mix, Eddy, and they treat him like their own and always let me know what is going on with him. Prices are so reasonable and you feel treated very fairly.

I've been taking my pets here for years & never encountered any problems until recently with the newer staff. Thankfully I was able to speak with Candy who showed me she truly cared about my pets.

I had the best experience with the team there at Great Value Pet Clinic. They squeezed us in during a busy time for my dog's teeth cleaning. The staff was genuine and friendly. Our tech Chris (I think?) took the time to meet with me before the surgery, and then post-op showed my husband all they had done and answered all of our questions. Their prices were less than half of what my regular vet quoted for the exact same procedure!! Honestly I think we will switch to this clinic for all of my dog's needs in the future! Poor cutting and can't fix it made my show dog look bad

They always take such great care of my cats dental cleaning. She has horrible teeth. And other vets cost would be prohibitive! They are indeed a great value!

The staff is excellent but the doctor is not. I took my dog to get neutered and for a hernia the Doctor did not touch his hernia. He said just like an auto repair shop you need tell us the day you bring him in what he is scheduled for. I guess he did not read the notes. Last week I made the mistake of taking my dog in again for swelling and pain and the doctor did not even feel my dog he glanced at his teeth and looked at his hernia after I turned my dog over. He diagnosed him from his chair saying it might be his back? !!

Declaw on our cat went well, however they didn't recommend pain meds for our cat. The next day after bringing her home (Saturday when they were closed) we had to take her to an emergency vet because she was clearly in a lot of pain. This emergency visit cost us an additional $150 on top of what we paid for her declaw at great value.

My doggy had his first dental here on Monday. The staff took very good care of him. The whole process went very well from scheduling to intake then after-care. The cost was also very reasonable. I had expected to pay nearly $200 more than I did. And because February is dental month I also received a 10% discount.

Love Great Value Pet Clinic. Awesome family owned & operated vet. Dr. Clothier really cares for the needs of the animals. He's NOT in it for the $$$. They are very reasonable in their prices. They have been so kind & gracious to our family in some very difficult times. That were there when our lab was diagnosed with terminal cancer. They helped manager her pain in her last days. I highly recommend Great Value! A++++ customer service!

Incredibly kind staff! I highly recommend this office!! My Chihuahua is often leary of most people, but he felt comfortable and safe from the moment he came in the door. They made me comfortable by sharing the step by step process of his proceedure Aaaaand there reasonably priced!! Totally worth the drive. Your fur babies without a doubt are in great hands here!!

So happy to have found this lovely clinic for my dogs. The staff is friendly, very professional and flexible. I had to reschedule and they accommodated my schedule twice with absolute grace and no hassle. The care they took to ensure we understood the procedure our dog would undergo was above and beyond as was the care our dog received in the clinic. The pricing is very reasonable and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I don't have actual experience with the vet but I would NEVER take my animals to this place. I happened to be in the parking lot this morning when one of their employees came out to yell at some other people about parking. The employee was extremely rude and unprofessional. I would never put my pet in the hands of someone with that kind of temper and lack of self control.

I have nothing but good things to say about Great Value. They take good care of my two Pomeranians. They get me appointments quickly when I need them & were also able to send me my dog's vaccination records at the drop of a hat when my apartment complex requested them. Thanks so much Ben!!

We brought our two cats in for surgery and it went very well. The staff was friendly and loving to our pets. They updated us after surgery with a phone call to let us know that they were in recovery. Two days later they are back to their fun, active selves. Great Value Pet Clinic was recommended to us by another vet and we also shopped around. Their prices are very reasonable and their service was excellent. We highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for veterinarian services with a warm, caring staff.

I have been going to Dr. Clothier for five years. All of my dogs are rescued from Mill Dog Rescue, they have all come from puppy mills. It is very important that they get the best care available, as they have already suffered enough. This is the reason why I use Dr.Clothier. I have dogs with heart conditions, two are blind, one with head trauma and one with a broken spirit. Chance is about ten years old and he has been blind since I gave him a forever home. There was an episode last week where he had
a seizure, and had pressure behind his left eye. I took him to an emergency room where they wanted to remove the eye. I explained that I have a vet and Dr. Clothier will take it from here. I called got an appointment the next day, and the operation will take place the next day. Chance is doing well since his surgery. I am so relieved that I have a vet for my pets that I can count on for excellent care.

I had a wonderful experience at Great Value Pet Clinic! The ladies (and gent) at the front desk were VERY kind! They were completely booked, but after hearing about my Koda Bear, they got him in that afternoon! They were very conservative in the financial department, and did not try to take advantage of the tests they could have ran. I would highly recommend this place :)

The staff is very kind, professional and informative. We called many other offices and are very happy that we decided on this one. Our pug Lily was having issues with her teeth, they are now clean and she is one happy pug! We were very worried with her being put under but this staff was very understanding and put our fears at ease. I would definitely recommend them.
