I had Midco in SD. and we decided to move to NE. where we would have Great Plains. When we moved I was informed that the service speed was much slower here of course I thought this is not going to work. Well long story short service tec. was awesome he new what was going on, he had us hooked up with cable and web in no time flat. Streaming 3 movies at one time and surfing the web as well NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. I love it and GOOD JOB PERFECT. Price yes a little more than Midco but I can live with it. cheaper than going out to a movie with a family of 4.

Great Plains is a very service oriented company. We were building a new office building and chose GP to be the provider to the building itself, and then we had them wire out our new office. Move in ia right around the corner. Based on the level of service so far, I expect nothing less from the monthly service we will be receiving. Eric

Terrible internal communication between their departments, they were extraordinarily slow getting answers about anything (weeks, not days), tech who installed didn't even verify that service was working before leaving, had to call multiple times to get the install finished over a week after my service start date, and they still charged me the $65 for install. Cherry on top, $20 in hidden fees added to the alleged cost of the plan, plus of course taxes. Never again...

This company could care less about their customers...

This company could care less about their customers. I called a month ago to get our service canceled. We still got charged for the following month. I called FOUR times to try and get the problem resolved. The first time, I was told everything was good to go and the service had been canceled. Returned to clean the apartment 10 days later and realized it had never been canceled so I called again. We ended up getting charged so I called again and was told that I d receive a call back by Friday. By Tuesday it still hadn t happened, so I called back for a fourth time! The lady (Judi) was INCREDIBLY RUDE! As I was trying to explain the situation she interrupted me by raising her voice and said, STOP TALKING! Nothing you are telling me is helpful! I couldn t believe how rude she was and how impolite she was to a customer. Needless to say, we ll be avoiding this company at ALL costs and telling those we know to do the same and I hope Judi receives some backlash for being so incredibly rude. In my opinion this is thievery, and totally unacceptable.

I've worked with many internet, cable, phone companies over the years in my profession. Great Plains is by far, the best customer service I've ever experienced. I almost never have issues with this company, my internet is the best I've ever had, hardly ever any issues and when I do experience an issue: they are back to me within minutes with a solution or sending someone out to my home or business. I can't recommend this company ENOUGH!!!! Worth every single penny, and they're not even that many pennies in the first place. Very affordable...I do not work for them, I do not know anyone who works for them, I am just a very big fan of companies who run like they do! Kudos to you and keep up the great work Great Plains!!!!

We were a new, ground-up build. GP worked with us for scheduling of service and installs and was very accommodating to our needs. Great to work with, friendly, responsive and prompt. The PM, Surveyor, Data and Voice installers were all awesome. A lot of gear and still looks nice. Thanks!

Great Plains bought out ETC in Sunman, IN @ late 2...

Great Plains bought out ETC in Sunman, IN @ late 2020. Since the buyout, we have had multiple days with ZERO service, especially when my children were participating in e-learning in December 2020.

I work from home and my connection drops - on average - nearly every hour on 3/5 days per week. Some days it is much worse. It is nearly impossible to get through to call.

And they raised prices in April 2021!

Great Plains has been a huge disappointment to this community.
