The USO on base was definitely the high point during my time there. They have pool/ping pong, WiFi, big screen TVs with all the game systems you could ask for, snacks and food, miscellaneous travel items like soap and shampoo and computers with CAC readers if you need to knock out some last minute training.

I'm so proud of each and every one that graduates!! Especially my sailor (hehe).. I enjoyed my trip and watching the graduation ceremonies of new sailor of U.S Navy.. Best of luck to everyone now and in the future.. family members get there extra early to get your section seats!

By far the best USO! They provide various programs for single service members and also service members with children. Some of my favorite programs include the no-dough dinners and tickets for troops, but they offer many more great services.

No one that worked on the base knew anything about anything after the graduation was over. In the letter they stated that there was a shuttle to take us to and from base and everyone kept saying it wasnt or they didn t know.

I went to Boot camp there back in 88, Graduated company 127 2nd division. My daughter is now there for Boot camp company 242 7th division. So proud of her and her making this big step. Both her Mom and I are looking forward to graduation day August 10th 2012.

It is a great place to come and relax, and enjoy the complimentary food they have to offer. I only gave it 3 stars because a lot of the volunteers make your visit less than desirable; if you don't like it there don't volunteer it's that simple. God forbid I sit too close to my wife lol... I know there is a strict no pda rule but come on we literally had about a foot in between us and we were not even touching ... They bark commands and are really quick to snap at you..not all of them are like that... Phil is awesome!

It's been a while but food was ok, dinning was crowded and staff a little rude. Seems they want you to come in but then act like all they want you to do is scarf down the food and leave so they can turn the table. Too interested in quantity of of customers over quality of visit too me.

Beds were uncomfortable but clean. There is no cleaning service, and they check in on you constantly and will bicker and nit pick the place apart and make you clean up even if it wasn't your mess. Wake up calls are completely random and unreliable. It's very quite at night so you can sleep well especially if you are a light sleeper. The grounds are a great place to get your daily exercise fit in. Always a good group of motivated people to exercise with.

Don't try to drive there, parking is Non-existent, and the only place to shop is within walking distance, same for the dinning establishment. I recommend staying 8 weeks and most people do, some stay longer but depending you plans 8 weeks might be all you need, but an extended stay can be great, they add some perks when you stay longer.

Great place to meet your recruit graduate from Navy. However quite far from city and their wait time is very long so come prepared, expect to wait long at the Sailor Museum, near main Navy gate.
