Dont be there any later then 630AM for graduation. You'll regret it. Bleachers fill up super fast and very limited area to sit. Look for your sailors division number and sit in front of it. You'll be sorry if your not getting on the base as soon as it opens.

Attended the Naval Graduation. It was such a special moment. But I was so confused & had to find detail about the ceremony all on my own. After talking to other parents... and samething. Navy really needs to do a better job with the communication for sure.

I spent very little time here attending a Navy bootcamp graduation. Very nice facilities.

My husband just went to trianing! I miss him so much but im so proud of him!

Love Great Lakes, the Naval Base is amazing. The sailors and command team are very helpful.

We were here for my daughter's graduation from RTC (boot camp). What's not to love about that?! It was very organized, and easy to find where we were suppose to go.

Went for son's graduation. Everyone was so wonderful it made me proud to see for myself the men and women that will stand with my son to serve. They were all very kind respectful a d more than happy to kindly assist us with ANYTHING we had questions about. We are very greatful for your service!!

Graduation day for my youngest child from Navy Bootcamp.

My son is a Navy veteran. He depends on the VA for his medical needs. He were able to see the Dr and be on our way in less than a hour. For a hospital with a such a incredible volume they are very efficient.

Free food for military personnel and family. Game area with ping pong, pool, TVs, etc. Does a lot to support military members and their families.

So exciting to watch these you people turn into sailors. Seating is limited! We enjoyed the ceremony but struggled to see our sailor due to lack of seating.

My son is at boot camp. He's happy to have made the commitment. We're so proud of him.

They did a false advertisement but the soldier's at the gate was really respectful

Excellent place Drs are awesome, they took great care of my mom in ICU and in a regular room after she was stable. Their staff was friendly, professional, and very informative. Their social worker Justin was awesome, he went above and beyond for my mom!

It s a great start for my son and his young family. This place gives him the right tools for a great and rewarding future. God will keep them safe. Love always. Dad

I faithfully served US Navy and attended great lakes RTC then shipped off to Millington Tn (Memphis Tn.) for Aviation support mechanic technician school and I became a Aviation support mechanic technician engineer and then went to Norfolk Va. and served my country proud

My grandson graduated from boot camp. It was unforgettable.

For retired people going there finding bldgs is confusing. They don't have any Army/Air Force exchanges and you don't seem to save much at the commissary anymore. Maybe some on meat. Of course you pay no tax. You can get ID cards here and they're very efficient.

Windy City Chicago definitely lived up to its name! Naval Training Station graduation was awesome to experience!

This Naval Station gets a lot of deserved slander but the USO never let me down. So if you get screwed being stationed here don't worry, just check out the USO because they're top notch. They plan a lot of events and have girl scout cookies sometimes, who doesnt love those?

Went there for my brother's ceremony graduation and it was beautiful and I cried

Fireworks and a lot of fun rides with a lot of food to eat.

Great place for enlisted and retired service members and their families, they offer a variety of foods depending on the day and recreational activities for all!

Just like any other USO it's just a bit cluttered.

It is the same place where the VA hospital and care centers are located.

Nice and clean friendly staff, please go see for yourself..

Great place. Many friends go there & they rave about this place.

We are retired military and do alot of shopping hear.

My son will be arriving this evening. We are so proud that he has taken an oath to protect and serve this Nation. We cannot wait to see him walk in honor after graduation. Take care son and we will pray for you and your fellow shipmates every night. Love, your family

During my time as an A school student it felt like home away from home. Now, as an instructor, I find time to pass by and enjoy the kindness and warmth from the people that work here provide to service members.
USO GL provides a lot of goodies, activities and amenities to ensure the sailor and every branch s service member that passes by experiences amazing hospitality. Keep up the good work, and thank you for all you do, USO GL!!!

Seventy years ago on January 3 I raised my right hand with Company 138 later merged with Company 125, great buddies, great reunions, only 9 of us left. Thank you USN!!!
