They are remodeling some areas but it's still a great place to visit with lots of hands on exhibits for the young and the young at heart. Wanna know what a jelly fish feels like? They have a tank set up for that. How about touching a fish species that dates back to the dinosaurs? The sturgeon tank has several playful fish that love to be pet as they swim near the surface. They have lots of local fish and marine species in several different settings like what you would find in your small pond to what you would possibly catch out of the big Gitche Gumee(aka Lake Superior.) They also have an ocean exhibit with different salt water species. If you get a chance to check it out and have a hour or two, it's worth it.
