We stayed here in December 2016, and then again in May 2017. My initial December impression was completely ruined this time. First, there was a big problem with AC, it automatically switched to 30 degrees during the night, and it made our sleep awful. Second, toilet was clogged, and our attempts in asking to fix it were ignored. Fridge was so loud that you could hear it through the walls. Definitely not worth 250 CAD for the suite.
Finally, the restaurant.. We spent nearly 200 CAD, and it was a nightmare. Not only we waited for kids meal and "appetizer cheese plate" for more than 45 minutes, and asked them to have our main course "to go" (our kids were already tired), but they didn't even know about special rates for Expedia gold members. We had to go back to the room and print that certificate. And this is after the front desk lady told us that restaurant should know about the discount. They also forgot to include the bottle of wine into the bill. I noticed that and asked to bring me a missing part of the bill (kind of nice of me). I ended up waiting another 20 minutes to pay for what they forgot to charge me for. Finally, 1 hour and 10 minutes, we finished a bottle of wine with a cheese plate, kids are tired and angry, and no main course. Bad experience. I think the whole team of that restaurant was changed in 2017, and it is not even close to what it used to be before. I would strongly NOT recommend to have dinner at that place.
