Nice hotel, good value than hotels at Banff. Helpful and friendly staff. I find bed to be too stiff and pillows could be better, other than that no complaints. My son love the pool a lot, location close to downtown also.
Lovely room in Canmore, with a lovely mountain view. The room was very clean and check-in was very quick and friendly.
We had stayed at your hotel 4 years ago and enjoyed it so I booked again. This stay I found that the suite was not set up with everything we needed and I had to call to have cups, wine glasses, wine opener etc brought to the room. The kitchen cupboards were looking very worn and run down. On the plus, all staff was very friendly.

It was fine. Our patio door wouldn't lock and one of the tv's didn't work properly. But that's all fixable.
This is our annual destination for a get together with 6 families. With the outdoor hot tub, good pool, and fully equipped suites we always have an enjoyable stay. My impression is that this year (2016) they have increased their customer service. Dealing with the management on site has been hassle free so after the weekend visit we leave feeling good about it.
We will definitely come back.

The room and staff were nice. Housekeeping could be improved but was not problematic. The location is great.
This place exceeded my expectations. Full kitchen, grill on patio. AMAZING shower with settings that can massage AND steam! Solid service from housekeeping staff, and front counter. Kid couldn't be happier with three storey tall waterside on site. :)
Good place to stay for a day, even we are check in on other building we can still access the service of the main building.
We had a heli wedding early the next day. The rooms we got were connecting, and fit 3 couples comfortably. The hotel staff was amazing. I have nothing good to say about ANYBODY in their restraunt. After being scoffed at, we tried to order from our room and they were just nasty. We ended up going out bought our own food used our kitchen.
I had a excellent stay at the Grande Rockies Resort. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location is great because it was central to pretty much everything, you can walk to a restaurant, bar or convenient store. The room we originally book was in the annex building which is across the main resort, when we switched to a room that was in the main building it made it easier to access the pool considering it was winter and we didn't want to have to walk outside after a good swim and hot tub. They have a waterslide, pool, baby pool and a huge hot tub where one half is indoor and the other half outdoor. I really liked this idea because you literally walk outside while still in the hot tub. The rooms were clean and decently spacious, beds were really comfortable and the stand up shower was my second favorite thing; steam, music and a rainfall shower all in one, a excellent idea and was perfect after a day of skiing. Underground parking was excellent, especially in the winter time. Overall I had a excellent experience and I definitely would recommend this resort. I would definitely return to the Grande Rockies Resort.
Great views and friendly staff. Easy to locate right off the highway. Restaurant was closed for the season though.
This was our second Christmas mini vacation at this hotel and what a difference a year can make. Our room was not cleaned properly when we checked in and some of the kitchen cabinets were falling apart. The swimming pool was freezing cold and my kids did not want to go in, I told the front desk but the next day it was still cold. The pool area was disgusting , cups everywhere and garbage. Even the hallways looked dirty, needless to say it was a disappointment and we won't be returning next year.
Everything is really nice so far. Parking issue was resolved right away. Only bad thing so far.
Very great condo for a getaway or staying the weekend with friends! Super spacious and the hot tub is great! The condo we stayed in at though had a coffeemaker that wasnt working. The hot tub in the communal area was out of service and the pool water was really cold! Very good location though and easy instructions for access in to the garage and into the room itself.
We're very satisfied with our stay. Our room was clean and neat. And their front desk SAM helped us alot and answered all our questions and concerns. Thank you very Grande Rockies Resort can't wait to go back again to Canmore and stay again to this beautiful hotel.
Xmas party with multiple couples. Rooms had tons of space for everyone including kids.

I had a unique experience here, I had multiple issues with my room, from bathrooms flooding and walls vibrating excessively. The staff were kind and semi accommodating. Unfortunately I had to talk to multiple managers inorder to get information. The only reason I am not giving a 2 star is because management was friendly and understanding. Hopefully they can fix the issues because the location is outstanding if you are wanting to go to Banff or Calgary.
