Nice casino with a good variety of slot machines. All the staff was very friendly beginning right from when we walked in with the security guard to the cashier who gave me my money for the nice win on a couple slots I had. My wife & I enjoyed our time. We will be back.
The rooms are clean but dated, no dresser, coffee in the rooms but not available elsewhere until the casino floor opens (10 am during the week). The biggest disappointment is lack of open restaurants. There is only a deli, small snack stand (evenings) and then the nice restaurant which you can't get into without a reservation or a 2-hour wait.

I m conflicted on how many stars. The casino and hotel are quite impressive as far as niceness. A few things that were annoying, being forced to use hand sanitizer upon entry, I am not against this but for the fact that I never once observed anyone cleaning machines, door handles, chairs, rails etc. the Casino is open from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM during the week. I wish I was informed of this when I booked my room, I would have got there earlier! And finally, other than the very weak, single drip machine there is NO coffee! I had to drive 3.5 miles to McDonald s, lots of people complaining about this! I booked my room at a discounted rate with my players card so I didn t complain much. Had I paid the $300 + regular rate, I would have been very upset. The casino hours were shocking enough, having no food or coffee available for purchase for hotel guests is not good. No fridge or safe in room. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Used to come up here every other weekend before covid. I am currently up here for the weekend for a golf tournement and let me tell you what did the casino bleed me dry. We came with some friends for drinks and some fun and every table they had open was full with people waiting so we decided to play slots and they continued to take 500 dallars in a total of 1 hour. This was qith a bet that was not over 1.50. When I say I didnt win a dime I didnt win a dime back. I can take a loss like the next guy but that is a little crazy and their game room and down for a rebuild so once we stopped putting money in there was not anything to do like before so needless to say i was not to impressed with turtle creek this time around.
I have enjoyed going to turtle creek or leelanu sands for years. I made reservations last month waiting for my discounted room rate and flyer. Never came. I have one for September but they obviously aren't hurting for my business since I can't even get a discount rate like they offer me every month. Except my birthday month.... shady. Especially after making reservations in September.

It was my birthday and I spent 10 dollars to get my bonus cash of 5 dollars but it never happened. I don't know I think the place is beautiful and a fancy date night but expect to lose money. I feel thiz way about gambling anyways cause I have never won. And I don't really care if I do so if you enjoy gambling and are good at or love losing money it is a great and classy atmosphere.
I came here with my sisters to celebrate a 21st birthday and a security guard effectively harassed us into leaving before we even had a chance to gamble.
We did not know it was casino policy to not allow photography from cell phones, as there was no signage to our knowledge specifying this rule, so we were taking selfies and short videos for our Instagram stories, not thinking anything of it. It was the first time in a casino for two of us and only the second time for the others.
This super young security guard comes up to us and starts freaking out about videos he said we took. I showed him my cell phone video I took of the casino from three floors up where you couldn t see any details of faces or machines and there was no view of any tables and promptly deleted it in front of him, apologizing profusely because I truly had no idea. He was extremely rude during the interaction. I tried to explain that I didn t know the policy and he acted as if he didn t hear me/didn t believe me.
Then as we were heading to the bathrooms, trying to decide if we would even stay, he came up to us AGAIN and said he had word another one of us took videos . I have never seen such aggression from a security guard. It was very off-putting and we left after that with a very bad taste in our mouths for Turtle Creek Casino.
This young man needs to learn how to tactfully speak to clientele. If he would have just kindly explained what the problem was and took the time to listen to us, I would have completely understood! But his attitude and clear power trip were so over the line, I will never be back to this establishment.
I would have given 5 star if they did not close at 2am and would have served me shots at the tables not just at the bar but all in all a nice casino
