My family member was at Grand Manor received excellent care and rehabilitation. Was so impressed by their rehab program. Not sure about other people s experience, but the nursing staff and other staff members their are very lovely people. Thank to them my loved one is now home and able to be with their family. So grateful and thankful to all the staff their. Blessed day
i regret ever allowing my father to stay at this nursing home, it is the worst.
my father was suppose to be a short term and died here. The staff here are the worst you ask them ? and they look at one another as if they don't know the answer or as if they don't speak english. hello yeah you the one who went to school and got the degree to be compassionate and understand the human anatomy. You request your love ones special needs,and the moment you leave they ignore everything you told them, and stress the patients out because now your love ones don't speak english and there staff don't speak Spanish. O n to add insult to injury when your love one passes the doctor the owners and the administrator are no where to be found, not even to give you there condolences. Grand Manor go back to your so call philosophy to adhere to the principals of preserving the residence personal dignity, and quality of life and how it is your goal to make them feel at home. everybody there walks around with a bad attitude they can't even look at you in the eyes. Get your administrator , and the two owners to get up from there air condition office and really see whats happening there.

I truly hope no one comes here. I am 33 years of age and this place truly is not for Nursing. I have been to 4 nursing homes around the city and this place is the worst place I have been to. JUST LOOK AT THEIR RATING! It s low for a reason people. The staff do not know how to talk to people. Most of you reading this review are planning to come here NOT because of choice but more on it s probably the only place that has accepted you. DO NOT! I repeat do not let the social worker at the hospital talk you into coming here. You will be miserable. Do not let someone from this nursing home come y all to you because it all will be lies mixed with truth. Their job is to get people to come!. There are people here who do not know how to talk to people. Remember this is a for profit nursing home. You get better food in a homeless shelter. JUST LOOK AT THEIR RATING!!. I have no reason to lie here. I am here for therapy and their GYM is the only thing I can say something good about. You will not be comfortable here. You are better off going home or having any other option but here. The social worker at hospital told me it was only place that accepted me, and I thought, well how bad can it be? I ignored the reviews online thinking it couldn t be that bad. Now I m here miserable.
I truly hope who ever reads this takes head to my words. Unless you have a relative who is going to a nursing home to Die or suffer, I suggest other wise. They have a horrible rating for a reason Don t ignore what s right in front of you. If not my review just simply look around and read other reviews.
The bed you lay on is a Crank up bed!, Their TV doesn t work, even if it does you only get a couple channels. They are for profit! Which means giving you the least amount with the biggest return!. Think about that before you make a decision.
They steal my uncles clothes, even though they have his name stitched in it. They do not bathe him nor do they change his socks.
I left a note asking to please stop taking his clothes because I was gonna report it and they wrote back GOOD LUCK.
DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE!! DON'T BRING ANYBODY HERE AT ALL!! Anything you read about this place providing "good service" and "making you feel at home" is a complete lie. All the residents here say it's miserable and depressing here, and based on my frequent visits, I couldn't agree more. All the workers here don't care about anybody and they're all so rude and lazy. My family member doesn't ask for much here but water, and she only asks me to get it cause she can't get up and get it herself. Everytime I go get it, I always have to mentally prepare myself to get nasty attitudes thrown at me like I'm asking them to go to the other side of the world and get it. It takes a toll on my mentality, let alone my poor family member who's forced to live here in pain and suffering every single day. If I could take her out of here, I would do it in a heart beat. I'm here as we speak and I went to get water like 15 min. ago and I caught all the workers in one place just laughing and playing on their phones while the residents are scattered around doing nothing. I asked for water, and they told me to get it myself, which means I have to go in a room which only employees are aloud in there, but before I was told -- no, yelled at -- I'm not supposed to go in there for any reason.
The rooms are always dirty and unsanitary for any person to live in. I caught a bug here a few times before and trash is always scattered around, and don't get me started on the smell. I know it's a nursing home. I don't expect it to smell like flowers but every single visit it just gets worse and worse.
Their website claims they have bilingual people here, and I highly beg to differ. Nobody here knows spanish which creates a huge miscommunication between the nurses and my family member, and that forces her to say everything's okay cause nobody can understand what's wrong with her.
If you love your family member, do not, and I repeat (cause that's how serious it is) DO NOT bring them here!!!

This nursing from my aspect is a total disappointment. My grandfather have been staying there for a while for therapy services but suffers from dementia. During the past months ive witness the lack of unresponsibility in that nursing home, yesturday I went to check up on him and I was informed that he had fallen from his wheelchair the day before but i was not informed eventhough they have several ways to contact me or any other family member. In addition to this, I went in today and was told that he has to be transfered to another floor due to the fact that he walked in into another room but in my opinion , how is that his fault when the staffs know that he gets confused ? Where were the staffs ? Aren t the staff suppose to watch the patients ? Like i mentioned before its a total disappointment I strongly suggest to not place any loved ones in this nursing home.
The Nurses are treated badly by patients and management .... Worst place ever ... Some patients suffer because Nurses are bullied by patients , Patients Family members and Management .which hinders True compassionate care for patients who need help and are not there to sue .. We need to do better .... If there are no nurses who will care for the sick? Do better America and grand manor
Rude people not to many people there are caring. And it is in need of a face lift its to small n run down. The patients are left dirty for to long. I can go on and on.
My father was in this facility and the staff and services provided to my father and my family was beyond great. I'm really happy for the care provided to my father at Grand Manor and I'll really recommended this facility to anyone to place their love ones. Thank you Grand Manor for all your caring and love!
Awful! My mom was there for two months and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. My mom got a urinary tract infection, the flu and the nurses couldn't keep her blood sugar under control, she's diabetic. The nurses have a bad attitude, were negligent beyond belief and the place always stinks. I had trouble even getting ice and water for mom in there. Do your loved one a favor and find a different place, trust. I had to get mom out of there. Horrible experience.
Grand Manor is wonderful facilty There Rehab is beautiful and gives amazing rehab . The nursing staff and team have been great as well thank you god bless

TERRIBLE PLACE, IT HAS TO BE INVESTIGATED ASAP.!!! It s dirty, and it stinks. The nurses are nasty and they are forever losing patients belongings; Clothes. When you ask them for help or a question their disgusting ghetto attitude is how they answer. There is never a supervisor available or anyone decent that can help. It is impossible how this place has so many terrible reviews and it s still open.!! Something had to be done .!!

& compassionate they care about the patient whether temporary or permanent - I was given information for my sis's treatment with plan of
return home time with help for her to return home. I was treated with respect and attentive to words I was speaking. It's important to know someone history better treat the patient. So glad they accepted my sister she getting quality treatment. From head to toe. I would recommend them in heart beat. Thank you ladies for making feel better & relieved

They try, BUT it's a run down facility that needs lots of work. I had to tell them the button at the nurses station did not work. They put people that need rehab like myself from a hip replacement with some one with mental problems. Some rooms are connected so it's 4 men to a room all four use a bathroom that's 3.5' wide by 7' long (includes a sink & toilet). More then a few nurse do not or don't care to help the correct way. More interested in going home then finishing with a patient. Their are some dedicated people who do their job and love it. I understand they are under construction and changing for the better, but it couldn't come fast enough. The food for the patients is excellent (most of the time). Since this is the only facility I've been to I have nothing to put this against. The rehab department is top notch. Good people and they really push you to get better & get out of there. I tip my hat to them.

My husband was admitted here this afternoon. When I asked for ice and cups they told me to go downstairs to the kitchen and get it myself. My husband was not wearing any pajama bottoms because he had an accident. They did not give him another pair because they said they were in the basement. I asked for a plastic urinal since he has difficulty going to the bathroom and cant walk. Those were in the basement too. After I left, he asked for a blanket at bed time and yep, you guessed it, they were in the basement. They told him to bring his own stuff which I would have done had they told me to. We are going to take him out in the morning.
Grand Manor is my second Home, working their for many years. We deeply cared and took care of all our residents with love and compassion . Caring for our residents as they were one of our loved ones.
