A rude breakfast

We stayed there last weekend and
they gave us a very comfortable warm and cozy room. Beautiful interiors of the hotel and excellent breakfast. The dinner was not up to a four-star rating and I doubt it was not prepared in-house. Anyway I would go back also for the very nice and helpful staff.

Small spa a bit out of fashion. It is quiet, while being close to Parma.
The late 19th century style hotel kept the charm of the time. Friendly and competent staff. Spacious room, bedding is good. The bathrooms are a bit small, especially the showers. But it's a good address. Good value for money.

I always feel good here and I come back with pleasure..I'm now at home .... great breakfast ..... ditto kitchen ... kind reception ...

A hotel with a wow effect on the lobby. In rooms without wow. Very friendly service. Parking about 400m away on a dedicated parking lot for large cars. You can drive to the hotel with the group, although you can see on the maps that it is a pedestrian zone. The front desk gives you a piece of paper that you have to put in the windshield. Breakfast with a group.

Beautiful room, very attentive and friendly staff, always ready to meet customer demands especially the Chef Ernesto. Hotel that advice and above all for the kindness and patience of Cynthia and holders. Health permitting we will definitely return.

We spent a weekend immersed in wellness. Everything is taken care of in the smallest details. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Clean and tidy rooms. Staff very kind.

Fantastic, elegant stately, historic structure in the center and on the square. G.Hotel. of the past but with large renovated areas. Excellent, with price / quality ratio.

Cant believe that the breakfast is shxx like this, nothing to eat at all, cold coffee only. The staff treat you like a tramp, no service at all, I dont know how they survive. NEVER NEVER NEVER book this Grand shxx hole for your sake, trust me.

The structure is elegant, the welcome was warm.
The services are well organized and functional:
The room is not very large but comfortable; as for the catering service, the breakfast was of high quality and very abundant.
I will certainly return to spend a few days in Salsomaggiore

Excellent Hotel, located in the center, on the pedestrian area but with convenient private parking. Rooms newly renovated, quiet and equipped with air conditioning and large bathroom. Carried living room with full board: meals made from fresh products, correct portions cooked to be tasty and read at the same time. We eat from appetizer to dessert, and you get up from the table never appesantiti.Sono always present in the dishes of traditional Emilian menus. Great compliments to chef Viccari and the dining room staff. Great competence and availability on the part of the reception and staff on the floors. Great value for money. For those who want it, the hotel has internal spas with Salsomaggiore spa staff. We will definitely return and recommend it to friends and acquaintances.

Gentile, central and with convenient parking! small room but overall pleasant only faults the noisy air conditioner even if turned off and for breakfast I expected more, maybe they had few guests and they wasted a little bit .. but I would go back soon!

Absolutely positive judgment! In particular, the courtesy of the hotel staff amplifies and characterizes the pleasure of staying in Salsomaggiore. Last but not least, the breakfast is excellent and abundant.

Old and unclean showers and toilette facilities, cold rooms, and, most importantly, arrogant and disrespectful staff at the Restaurant.

Of positives - grandesque building, decent location, however, the impression was totally spoilt in the morning.

Overall, I do not recommend the GHR - it requires substantial improvement.

Excellent stop between work days after hundreds of km. Spacious and relaxing room. Not to mention breakfast: it gives you all the energy to leave. Fixed stage when I am out and about between Parma Fiorenzuola and Piacenza

Average hotel that inherits its stars from the good old days but struggles to modernize. Very friendly service and excellent location.

The hotel is very nice .. you can breathe the air of the good old days and the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. Very welcoming. However, I regret having to note the lack of care in maintaining such an impressive structure. The rooms have the bathroom with the peeling walls .. not soundproofed for anything .. the bar fridge in practice heats up .. temperature uncontrollable room .. the door with opening towards the bed that does not close letting the light of the corridor and other small details filter through you don't expect 4 star. Also 5 floors of rooms with only one elevator. It is a pity.

We stayed for two nights in the Grand Hotel Regina, taking advantage of a particularly convenient offer.
It is a large hotel and the old style is very appropriate for the area.
We stayed in what they called "the best room in the hotel" on the fourth floor and in fact the room was very large.
The sound insulation with the outside was almost perfect, considering that in front of the hotel there was a building under renovation!
The free Wifi in the rooms is also very appreciated.
Very good cleaning of the room and very friendly staff.
Among the cons, I would point out: the state of the sanitary ware (especially the taps and fittings) not really "new"; the hotel's limited reserved parking, and breakfast: plentiful but only decent (obviously a subjective opinion).
Overall a very positive experience.

The hotel is aesthetically beautiful, Art Nouveau style, even the common areas have their charms. The rooms are different: they are small and should be renovated. The blind bath is very small and a little uncomfortable. Breakfast is good with a decent selection of sweet and salty and the friendly and helpful staff. If you can find it at a good price (less than 100 euro per night for a double) I recommend it.
