Reasonable price, good location, friendly reception staff, breakfast good but rooms quite dated and corridors unclean/untidy. Maintenance lacking a bit too (like sink doesnt drain as plug broken, iron doesnt work etc)

Hotel Grand is located in a beautiful place near the sea in the center of Malahaid, the recommended prices are not low but stay in a hotel will be 100% successful
Beautiful historic Hotel ( I first visited in the 1960s) just beside the wonderful village of Malahide 9 miles from Dublin City center. Great rooms with lovely views, restaurant food and breakfast were gorgeous, I'll be back soon.
Loved this hotel...staff lovely...lovely location ...didnt get to enjoy as much as we would have liked due to circumstance which was nothing to do with hotel however they were amazing in light of the situation...we will have to come back so we can really enjoy full experience.
Very good location right next to the promenade. Modern and spacious family rooms. Five minutes walking from the center of the city.
Was attending a funeral of an absolute gem of a friend and fellow county man who had arranged a personal farewell pint for all of his friends and associates to mark his passing and in iothlainn De go gcasfar sinn aris let cunamh De and wouldnt have been fitting to take photos as he certainly wouldnt have wanted any fuss made of his farewell from this so called mortal coil .

Went here as large family group on St.Stephen's day for carvery lunch. Excellent food and staff but 1 buffet chef seemed in a mood with everyone. Hope he is having a better day now. Staff were particularly good with the kids making sure they were all happy. They have revamped the hotel interior including the Coast restaurant and main bar area since i had been here years ago. It looks great!

Fantastic place great staff great town I just love the Grand and Malahide.
This was hands down the worst hotel ive ever been too, wifi signal did not reach up to my room then was told Id have to pat extra for good wifi access. No heating or air conditioning in the room. Very little selection of alcohol in the bar. Only good thing to say about the experience is the gym and pool were nice. Would never stay there again.

We were with a large extended family the food was very tasty. We were searved our starter and desert. We had to fetch our main course from a sort of carvery which I know would put some people off. We found the staff very friendly.
I am staying for work reasons. The facilities are amazing and the staff is really helpful. The breakfast: restaurant views are really nice facing the sea side. Variety: medium. Hot breakfast is basically what you would find in Irishk breakfast options, cold breakfast have some more options. Quality: excellent
Room:big and spacious. bed comfort: 10/10 noise: silent as it haven't been for a while during my past nights. views: I guess work don't pay for the sea views so I have a nice view of other part of the building... and a bit of sea. Location: 5 mins walk to all the restaurants and 20 min to the castle. Malahide is a nice town for a relaxing weekend with mice sea food.

This is a wonderful hotel with great amenities. Enjoyed morning breakfast in restaurant with water view and evening pint in quiet pub. Short walk to town and sights.
Service was really slow in the bar. Had to ask twice for someone to come and take our order.
It is a brilliant hotel it is walking distance from malahide castle and the park. The staff were great and really helpful. The breakfast is a buffet so you can get whatever you want and how much you want the Matt Ryan bar is such a lovely bar and there is a wide selection of foods. The grand hotel is amazing

Great Hotel, fantastic views just outside Dublin and right on the coast. Great walk along the promonade. Short train journey into town. Relax and shop then great restaurants and pubs close by plus Great restaurant in the hotel if the legs have done enough!
