We have been coming there for the Airborne march for 34 years, which is sometimes the case when we are in the area. Very old-fashioned and just a cafeteria. During the Airborne the owner is very spastically busy with her employees, mostly very young girls without any experience,
. It is then very busy and this lady on tilt is busy making a coffee machine ONE BY ONE while sometimes you have to wait 15 minutes before you have your coffee. Even worse, when you take an order for this coffee, the staff always puts the receipts on top of the previous orders and so the last orders are first processed by a distraught lady who is really NOT stress resistant and leaves the bottom receipts for half an hour waiting this way .... stupid stupid stupid! Buy a large coffee kettle with tap, make 20 liters of coffee and quickly drain the orders and don't let your customers wait unnecessarily! AND bi
Relax in bed the first Saturday of September !!

Stopped for a snack and a drink while out walking in the area.

I am also interested in the historical significance of the Schoonoord and this enhances my visit.

2 pastas and a Lasagna take away the portions were very disappointing for the amount you paid for it. It was nice, but I think it is not enough. After a bowl of pasta you are not full and then you pay 9.50 for it.

Was very nice, dog friendly but above all very tasty. And the iced coffee that was not on the menu deserves a recommendation.

The map has recently changed since there are new owners. You can eat very well in an attractive atmosphere.

Unkind owner who was simply lying that we were told that the case would close an hour earlier. We were a) not told at all and b) she was not there at all when we entered. We are not at all served with such jokes. They don't see us there again, worthless!

Correct operation. Meals well cared for and tasty. Only the previous home feeling of wo 2 oosterbeek but the new owner is already working on it.

Worst service ever! Previously the food was always delivered to our site. Not once but several times, with several people on the entire campsite. Even the day before yesterday seen the car here. And now it doesn't suit them anymore without any announcement. Bad service! Where do I pay delivery costs if I can walk around the campsite for 10 minutes?

Been here for the first time, was disappointing. A 2nd x is not there, coffee is lukewarm and in terms of sweetness very limited, apple pie and then it almost stops. A Brownie may be on the card at least at this time. No sorry it wasn't, a bit dated.

Best resting place for after the airborne walking tour

Sandwiches order with salmon, taste was fine, only bread was not fresh, chewy crust, so nothing special, I could have made it at home ... coffee was tasty and staff tidy, helpful and quick service ... I come for coffee sometimes there, not for the card.

Very friendly staff, also the owner is in for a nice chat. The food was exquisite, and more than enough. We will be back soon.

We ate here with the whole family. 4 people and everyone chose a different dish. we are pleasantly surprised. The price quality is very good! A well-arranged menu, delicious dishes, fine flavor combinations. In addition, the person was very pleasant ... Absolute must.

Hi, I was here yesterday with two other people. We ordered a cup of coffee and wanted bread with something tasty. It was not on the map, but would be arranged .. However, it took so long for (6 pieces of bread plus a dirty mess) to arrive, we were ready to go ...
Nowhere were we compensated or anything :-(
Ojee, what an unpleasant experience this was and this could (in our opinion) certainly have been different.

In itself a delicious sandwich eaten, but a great pity that the bread just seemed to come from the local supermarket. Because of this I would not come back here soon. Friendly service and nice drinks!

New owner, I think, is going to make a very nice place here. Fine for a nice dinner with the fam and the card is surprising.

Tonight here the surprise menu eaten with the voucher of social deal, surprise menu is really a surprise menu, colorfully prepared plates with a surprising combination of flavors, hospitable and friendly service, and certainly also without a social deal highly recommended!

Great restaurant to just have a nice meal. If you are looking for real Italian cuisine then I would not recommend this. The service is friendly but unfortunately an order wrong and the side dishes arrived a bit late. It is, so to speak, "not quite" despite this, good food. If the execution of the food was "really Italian" and the toilets were cleaner then just 2 more stars were added.

Cappucino and apple pie with whipped cream were tasty, apple pie was warm. Only have to wait a long time, can order long and that it is brought. Also have to make an effort to get the right order.

We come here every week after a Photo location day to drink a cup of coffee or tea. Great service and large selection of teas.

Food was tasty. Ordered extra fries were about delicious. The boys are super sociable and very nice.

A beautiful historic restaurant. Which gives everyone a warm welcome. Was very good food which we needed on our junction route.

We stopped here during a bike ride for lunch. The staff is nice. The coffee is tasty.

The restaurant is on the corner of the Utrechtseweg and the Pietersbergseweg in Oosterbeek and the car can easily be parked at the nearby parking area (with parking disc and max. For 1.5 hours). Easy to solve by moving the parking disc prematurely. Restaurant Schoonoord has placed photos and other things that remind us of the 2nd World War at the entrance and also in the restaurant itself. There is a bar where you can have a drink before going to the table. The tables are partly in a glass extension and to be honest it is good and warm. The service is good, the waiting time before the dishes are served is acceptable, the dishes are good and the prices reasonable. Booking in advance is not always necessary, but recommended. Menu is not overcrowded but sufficient. All in all a restaurant that I would like to come back to again. Please note that during the Airborne weeks (every year in September) reservations are requested in advance due to the large number of tourists and Airbornegangers. Possibly an idea to walk the Airborne walking tour once (always 1st Saturday in September). The tattoo on Raadhuisplein later in September is also worth a visit.

Eaten well including tasty appetizer. The only point of improvement is that the plates had to be heated beforehand, the food quickly cooled down.
