I visited Grail Springs for the first time this year when my travel plans were suspended due to COVID. I wasn't sure what to expect, but WOW - it over delivered. From the beautiful grounds, outdoor activities, crystal forest and spectacular gourmet vegan cuisine. Visiting during a pandemic, I felt very safe as the proper protocols were in place and witnessed common areas routinely cleaned by the staff. If you're looking for some R&R, this place is for you. Can't wait for my next visit. This place is just MAGIC.

tried to get information to book, called one evening the was greeted with someone who was less than helpful in answering our questions, also emailed the same day. It took 5 days to get an email response, unfortunate as we thought it would be a lovely experience. Booked at STE. ANNE'S SPA instead

I cannot wait to go back to this magical place! I needed to rest and recharge in January and I found this gem, Grail Springs. I flew all the way from Los Angeles and it was definitely worth my while. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and serene. I can only imagine how lovely it would be in the spring! (maybe someday soon I'll get to go back!).
My room was cozy and warm with a fireplace and a balcony that overlooks the lake. I got to take baths every night with their very own mud detoxing body mask. I loved the thoughtful herbal tea and hot water they left in my room. The beds are so comfy and fresh!
Don't get my started on the food! While I wasn't used to a vegetarian type of diet, I found that it can actually be just as tasty! All the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. You can spend the day relaxing or have some unique spa experiences that you won't find in most spas. (I've been to many spas and retreats and this was one of my favorites!)
The yoga and meditations jumpstarted my own practice and I still use the music they played as the alarm on my phone, just to start my day right!
Snow shoeing outings were really fun and great exercise. Met many interesting people from all over the world. I also took many solo walks because that's just what I need sometimes to re-center myself. I would go in the hot tub at night and listen to the wind in the pine trees, simply heaven! If you can do it, don't hesitate. I know you'll be happy you did!

5 stars are not enough to capture to beautiful experience that Grail Springs provides. If you've been looking for a retreat or just to get out of the city and reconnect with yourself and nature, then this is the place for you.

The food was phenomenal and the staff were incredibly in tune with everyone's needs and preferences. They make sure to learn everyone's name to add a personable touch.

I can't wait for my next visit! 5 days just aren't enough!

Mixed review here. I have come back 4X - Obviously different experiences - the last stay 2 full weeks. The spa services were awful - most everyone was new but you still pay a premium. I was bruised after a massage. In 2 weeks I think I enjoyed 7 lunch/dinner's of 28! They still have one good chef there but he's not there all the time (not enough). For several days in a row it was canned tomatoes and beans. I'm not joking that was the base - fruit and satisfying vegetables were scarce. They've done some great work on the grounds. That is the highlight. I was in a room that over-looked the entry way and unfortunately for me they were building a new fountain out front, which is beautiful - but it was loud and I couldn't sit on the cute little landing outside for the noise. I was there when it was vegetarian and once before when they moved to Vegan. But, they need more than one Vegan chef for the cost to stay - I went to the local grocery store last time, for the first time to get veg and fruit - Speakers I had heard years ago, same topic - If that was my first experience, I wouldn't go back.
My last stay was Sept for 15 days 2020. not a year ago.

I had an amazing experience visiting Grail Springs, for me it was life changing ! I tell as many people as I can about it and the experience I had. The food was incredible, very friendly staff and a wonderful environment to be in! They had A lot of wonderful stuff to do if you were feeling up for it. It had such a positive energy, I will definitely be going back!

My friend and I have made the road trip to Grail Springs twice now. We recently went with the understanding they were following all measures possible to prevent a covid situation. They did not disappoint. It was as beautiful, as peaceful, the staff and visitors social distanced themselves, while always wearing a mask. The trees were beautiful, rooms were lovely, the stars were stunning!
Both my friend and I could not believe how relaxed we were after our two night stay. Thank you to the Staff and owner of Grail Springs! A special thanks to the Chef and all the staff in the dining room that provided and served the wonderful meals everyday, we ate so well, I'm sure that added to why we felt so good! See you next year.

I have Travelled and visited numerous retreats and spas and I was very disappointed with grail Springs. I found it to be completely over priced for what was recieved. I am genuinely surprised by all the positive reviews due to complaints I heard from other guests. the property is very beautiful and so is the building but I absolutely did not feel relaxed throughout my stay.
the rooms: walls are super thin. can hear everything from the rooms next door so all 3 nights we did not have a restful sleep. rooms were not cleaned despite asking numerous times and having the sign out on the door. we did not have hot water one day (other guests complained of this too). the Lakeview lux room is advertised to have queen beds, they were doubles so very tight for even 2 small adults.
most of the meals lacked flavour and no beverages are served other than tea not even coffee. the meals were also portion controlled and served on tight schedules.
the most absurd thing is that you need to wait until breakfast every day to know what you are scheduled for that day. so in advance you have no idea when your spa treatments so you feel unsettled not knowing any type of schedule.

We felt we needed to talk in whisper the entire time and the atmosphere was a bit depressing.
I felt everything was overpriced for what we received especially comparing to other retreats.
unless you are looking for counseling I would not recommend staying here for a relaxing / fun getaway.
