Gouin Park Pool and Waterslide Reviews

Pool was suppose to close August 31st.
We went today Tuesday the 15th they are not open !!
When I called i was told that they will be open only on weekends for the rest of the month!
This is last time I'm purchasing family passes!
What a disappointment!

My son has his boxing gym there. Kareem is the man for coaching

I love this pool there is just 1 this that could be improved they should stock up on food they run out so fast

It s so cool I been with my family it s so fun you should try the slide it s so fun me and my mom went to the slide also my brother and my two sisters went to the slide also my dad he like went under the water I can t not open my eyes when I m under the pool

Ive been going here since 2015 and i like this place a lot but it gets crowded over the weekends which sucks, but the weekdays are the great days, also they have opened the deepest part of the pool so that everyone can swim instead of people just being crowded and barley anyone jumping on the diving board which i like a lot. And you should be there july 4th because every year they serve free cake which is worth it, but you have to be there ealry for that cake. Thats allbi have to say for this place, and i enjoy it a lot.

Awesome family venue. The staff is great. You can tell that they all get along, and they have fun at what they do while keeping everyone safe while swimming.

I was on Saturday with my children and my granddaughters were laughing. It's nice

The facility is nice,the staff is friendly,however today is the first time we tried this place.At the closing time ,this lady Isabela,started yelling at the people to get out and go to the lockers..So unprofessional!!!

We always go visit this water park during summer. I love it, prizes are reasonable specially after 4 pm

Public pool when I moved here pool was way under use. Now I hear of over crowding at the pool.

Nice clean pool and concession stand can't ask for more

I called yesterday to find out times and when it will be open. Somebody answered phone yesterday 6.1.17 She said tomorrow. So I CALLED next day & NO ANSWER!! My daughter is SO upset & crying bc I told her the lady said 6.2.17 will be open!
Why would someone lie to their customers??
Who ever that DUMB ASS was SHOULDN'T be working there or even answering the phone!!
Now I find out that the1st day of opening is on 6.5.17 that's like 4 days after I CALLED!
Thanks for making me look like a liar to my daughter!! I want everyone to know what kind of customer service they have over there!!!

Great place for Kids Can get lessons for Kids to learn how to Swim the instructor was just patient with the little ones

We entered at 3:30 and they took us out at 4:30, they did not want to return the money or give us a pass to return later, we paid 61.00 dl. Bad service.

Nice clean water but get pretty full during the really hot summer days.

It's a lovely local park with a walking trail.. and a tank lol

My son wanted to go on the water slide and he did reach the required height but I know that he gets scared being in the water by himself. I asked the life guard on duty who was at the top of the slide if I could go down the slide with my son. Unfortunately she said only one person at a time but then she SUGGESTED that I could go down and catch him. Made my way to the end of the water slide, in the pool, and the female life guard there said I was NOT allowed there. When I explained to her that I was TOLD it was fine. She gave me a nasty look and rolled her eyes. PLEASE! Have your staff get on the same page with the pool regulations.

This is so bad the manager is talking about people behind people's back and there is this one named bobby oh he was yelling at my son and my son has ADHD and then the manager onuonce to let kids go back to the other side of the pool and then my son jumped in and that's when the guy bobby started to yell and this water park is bad they yell a lot I think it would be better with a new manager.

I like to go there, they are clean and above all, there are several lifeguards since my child was 3 years old. I go to those pools. My son is now 17 years old

They accommodated our summer school program twice in 2019 and once in 2018. Great group of lifeguards, willing to help out. Would recommend to families and friends.

Cheep place for water play in the summer for kids. The water was a bit cold in the smaller pools, and it can get kinda crowded.

Great sightlines, good facility. Lockerroom needs completely redone.

Haven't tried the food.. But pool is great. Has slides and diving board plus a deeper section for older kids

Worst pools I've ever been to. Staff is so unprofessional & racists!!

Kid friendly and location is perfect outside of Chicago. My 4 yr old daughter and 3 yr old son always have a good time from the day i first brought them.

The pool Is so big And the slides are really fun as well

Most of the time it's very clean. Staff and lifeguards are people and kid friendly.

Nice baseball fields but one is a far walk from the parking lot.

I've come here for nearly a year ...... And the fun never ends the staff are amazing and the water is on a good tempiture I'd recommend this place to all my friends

This park is great to bring the whole family for a swim,play tennis or volleyball in the sand. 2 thumbs up!

Fantastic place. The pool is enormous, there's ample parking, and the admission fee is very reasonable compared to some other local area pools.

Very inexpensive but too many rules that are useless.

Staff was nice but prices for snacks is why I'm giving 5 stars very reasonabl. If you get like a pizza slice, an apple juice and chips combo it's like 2-3 bucks. Everywhere else charges an at least 6-8$
