I prefer the smaller tasting rooms - they offer a more intimate experience with the vineyard and allow for more discussion of the wine. Goosecross certainly fit the bill (pun intended), and offered a solid five wines (including a Syrah that I really enjoyed) and some free snacks for the price of a ten-spot. We called ahead and they were waiting for us when we arrived, but another larger group visited not long after we began the tasting and the crowd kinda put a damper on the visit. Nevertheless, the wines were reason enough to visit again.

A friend that had been here previously recommended it to us and we're lucky that he did. We couldn't enjoy the patio due to rain, but we had a great time in the tasting room. Jason was so knowledgeable about the entire process and patient and kind enough to deal with questions from two very curious engineers about everything from the equipment used to the soil types on the property. Couldn't have asked for a better experience or a better guide through the tasting process. We will definitely be back in the future!

We loved Goosecross. This was our first time in Napa and this is a winery I would definitely go back to. Jose was our host for our tasting and he was simply fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and fun. We learned a lot about wine and the wine we tasted was very good. A must stop for Napa and we are sure to come back if ever in the area again. Thanks Jose for the hospitality!!!

This is my favorite vineyard of all times - not because of the layout, the beautiful setting, or even where it is - although all of those things are wonderful. I love this vineyard for what they produce - some of the finest red wines I have ever put to my lips. I am not a fan of white wines but I'm sure Goosecross makes some of the finest on the planet. I love red wine and you cannot go wrong with this company. Outstanding, wines, outstanding service, outstanding tasting room and I love to stroll the vineyard. I hope you're open soon.

In Yountville, just off the popular path. We love Goosecross Cellars! Best wines in greater Napa at 2/3 the beaten path price. Great service, great ambiance, and friendly, friendly, friendly.

Recommendation from a friend that absolutely delivered!!!! While the day had a slight over cast the view from the patio was absolutely amazing. Jason booked our party of (12) and he brought his "A" game. Super knowledgeable and really went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. (pulling actual plants out of the ground and nibbling on them with us. Thank you again and Jason, awesome home made earrings, dug the blues in your design

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Spencer. He was an absolutely delightful host. He was so warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. He embodied and highlighted the cozy and relaxed feel of this beautiful establishment. We came home with a bottle of the 2016 Goosecross Pinot Noir. Everything we tasted was exceptional. This experience exceeded our expectations. Cannot wait to go back to Napa Valley and visit Goosecross. Oh and cannot wait to order more wine in the meantime!

Our friends are members, and took us wine tasting here. I think this is hands down, my favorite winery I've ever been to. I lived up in Sonoma County for almost 4 years, so that's saying a lot! It was such a fun time and the staff was great! There was not one wine I tasted that I disliked. I'm not a huge fan of whites, but I liked all of theirs. My first time here, I bought 3 bottles- branta, petite syrah and the merlot. They are also very reasonably priced for the quality! If you're looking for a top notch wine for only $40, Branta is your wine! Such a great experience, I'm probably going to become a member!

This winery was fine, very average. The outdoor spot by the vineyards was pretty but the tasting and venue was very average. We had started at Paraduxx and were bummed we left to come here. It s not terrible, but not memorable. Plenty of more interesting wineries to visit in Napa.

Under the radar and that's fine. Go in the afternoon. Deck faces west and you can soak up the sunshine while sampling really good and not terribly expensive wine. Jason was pur host and does a great job. Really mellow reds.

I had high expectations for a tasting at Goosecross having read good reviews and knowing that a fellow kiwi is their winemaker. We arrived on time for the appointment we had made 3 weeks earlier. The tasting room was very busy, however, we were given an unexceptional blend of three white wine's to taste and advised to find ouselves a table outside. We sat there unattended for nearly 15 min and with no sign of the service improving we left. On our way out our hostess apologised saying that one of their staff had been injured. Perhaps just an off day but this was by far the most disappointing of our 6 tastings in the Valley.
