I interviewed twice with the recruiters at Goodwin, during which time they communicated with me that I perfectly fit the profile of what the client was looking for in the role. The recruiters informed me that they would be working with me every step along the way to prepare for my interview with the hiring manager. Instead, I was given multiple interview times that no one showed up to and finally was forced to do a phone interview with no heads up that I had to complete while walking my dogs. When Goodwin informed me that I was no longer in consideration it was because I didn't have relevant experience, something they could have discerned with a simple look at my resume.

Kevin Kusinski, my Goodwin recruiter, and his team helped connect me with another company who truly saw my worth. I was able to secure a better job and most importantly a significant raise in salary. When Malia Cappuccio, first contacted me I was a bit hesitant about her email, after all most of us job seekers have gone through pretty challenging times, that I at time I felt like saying yea right, you are honestly contacting me for a job opportunity! My emotions, stress and worries were pretty high, I did contacted Malia, and we set up a phone interview. Malia was such a soft and easy person to speak with, that I forgot about my stress levels. She said that I will hear from her or the hiring managers by the end of the week. But it was actually sooner than that, when Malia text me to say the hiring managers wanted to meet with me, it was from the Wednesday to Thursday. Malia arrange the interview, it went well I was told by the hiring manager that a offer letter would be sent. Such a Blessing! I left the office but still could not believe I was offer the job:) From there on it was just a matter of time. Malia kept reassuring me to have patience that everything would be fine. My recruiter was/ is amazing. A down to earth regular guy just like myself. Which made it easier to talk to him and even advice. Really has my best interests at heart. Great person, as a reflection of the company. I dont know but he is def someone id invite to dinner or a cook out, if you know what i mean.
