I really find it hard to believe this is a non profit with its super high prices. I wonder how much the CEO makes I am sure 100 times the highest paid employee. This is just another fake nonprofit profiting from donations.

Love this place; easily my favorite Goodwill in the entire Portland metropolis. Good electronics section, aisles of books, also often has awesome older stuff (picked up an early 1900s camera there). Definitely worth a look.

This Goodwill is at the end of a decent sized strip mall with plenty of private parking. The donation center and parking center have two different entrances.

I only came here to make a donation. I was in and out in less than 1 minute.

I've been to many many thrift stores and I have to say this rates near the top. It is well-organized neat and clean. What place can you and your friends go where there's a variety of sizes variety of items from glassware to Silver to electronics to winter coats to summer tops and have fun for a couple hours. The one on Broadway is equally as nice but smaller. I've also been to the one on 10th and Taylor which is a boutique type Goodwill with high-end items and name brands that are much more pricey. All depends what you're into.

Over priced as always. Security guard profiling following us around all the way to the register where he witnesses our paying for our goods as always. How many times is he going to waste his time and employers money following us

I would like to let the public know what a horrible experience I had at cashier training at the goodwill headquarters in Portland. The instructor was horribly rude. Her name was Marsha. She gave us 30/minitues to learn everything and made me share a cash register with another student before the test so I didn't have a chance in hell to pass the test. I called and called trying to file a complaint and nobody has returned my calls even though they promised they would so I lost my job. Don't even think of getting a job here. The staff is awful and they don't give a crap about their future staff. Horrible people. Horrible place to work!!! Plus they told us to lie to our customers. Let this be a warning. Laura Schwalm

Best Goodwill I have ever been to. The store has a huge variety and it is kept tidy. The career center offers free classes, and the customer service is really good. The employees will go out of their way to help you.

This is generally a good store, but today I had an experience that was positively foul for the second time. The story goes like this: pick out and try six garments. Keep five. Come back with six more and ask the attendant to put the items I'm clearly going to purchase aside. Come out of the dressing room and my garments are gone! Oh, we hung them up. and this is the second time over a couple months! Do I have to tell the attendants in advance that I will speak with a manager if they remove my clothing? How do I deal with this? I like this store, I've found many good things here but every time I really want to dig in and shop, I have to worry about the gd clothes I intended on purchasing being returned to racks. Holy gosh, people, what the hell.

Taking the MS Office classes that are being offered. Very good. I have a BA and have started working on my MA. Learning the little tips and tricks that I did not know will prove useful for my school coursework and in projects at work. Now I feel empowered to pursue a full certification in MS Office through Microsoft. A credential that will set me apart in the job market!

Conveniently located and has lower prices than the downtown "boutique" Goodwill. Always has a lot of selection, although you'll need to get there early to pick up items in the color of the day. Often a bit disorganized, probably due to high traffic.

I used to love shopping at Goodwill. Now, their furniture is overpriced by a lot. Clothes are sprayed with something - Fabreze? Especially womens clothing. Harmful. Requires multiple washings before wearing. Environmentally not viable.

My daughter and I absolutely love goodwill, but wth is going on with their prices lately?? I was looking at some plain Jane Levi s and the price was $20..are you kidding me!? So I asked one of the workers that was close by and she said, yea I know, our prices have almost doubled in the last year because goodwill has caught on that they are super popular with kids..it s the trendy thing to do. Do you really need to squeeze more money out of a business that s basically all profit anyway!?

It's got a good selection, and people shopping for clothes should be able to find something. I got a cute, silk & lycra jacket from this location.

That's about where the good things end. They do have some security, and they were watching me the entire time. No clue why, but it was extremely uncomfortable. The job of security is to monitor, not passive aggresively stare down customers for zero reason.

This Goodwill runs into the same issues as others in that its prices are rising, which is ridiculous for donated items. Its not as bad as the one on Halsey, but prepare to spend more money than you planned.

Would I go back? Only for the convenience. I live out of town and my parking is around a half mile from this location. It wasn't awful, but not ideal.

Super rude employees. 9 outta 10 of them are not there to help in any way. I think they all just assume anyone under the age of 65 is there to steal from them. I walked in on a rainy day and asked if I could set my umbrella near the exit door and was told I could. Then an hour or so I go to leave and grab my umbrella and get held up by a larger colored lady saying "hey give me my umbrella back" I told her it was mine and she said well when did you leave it because it's been there since I got here, I said I had been there for about an hour and a half or so. She clearly didn't believe me and thought I flippin grabbed the umbrella on my way out. As I told her and another lady it was mine she said repeatedly" go head, go head, go head". My gosh , really. I just shook my head at the situation. Anyway very rude and judgmental.

You can find great hidden items, you just have to look in both the male/female areas. Found a nice pair of men's Rockport shoes, but they were over in the women's Dept. I was going through men's sweaters. Found 15 from the women's Dept. Gave them to a clerk. She thanked me and I came back in 10 minutes. She was putting said sweaters back in the men's Dept. Oh well.

This is the most awesome Goodwill I have been to. It's got lots of exciting things different all the time and the prices are affordable. It's got interesting items in all departments and the staff is always helpful and entertaining when you talk to them. I come from Eugene to to go to THIS STORE. Wish it was closer to my town....

I was disappointed that the summer hats were between$6.99-$9.99 I can get them cheaper brand new. Their prices often make no sense anymore. A new dress with a store original tag for $168.00 had a good will tag of 7.99 but the straw hat was 9.99.

I'm used to shopping at our local Goodwill on the coast, where the selection is pretty good, the store is clean and the employees are friendly. Today we visited the store on 99 E in inner SE Portland, and it was quite a bit different from the ones we visit on the coast. Here, the store was larger, but the selection didn't seem as varied, although they had quite a few nice things at reasonable prices. The store itself seems shabby, rundown, and in need of a thorough cleaning. The staff stocking shelves varied from apathetic to downright rude, although the checkers all seemed nice. My other gripe was the dearth of available carts. Most people, including ourselves, were dragging around small baskets on wheels. The handles were too short to be comfortable for me, who is 5'7" tall, and agony for my 6' tall husband.

While none of these issues would stop me from shopping there again, the experience wasn't nearly as relaxing and nice as it could have been. Too bad, because I usually enjoy shopping in Goodwill stores.

Website states they take bed frames.

Rented a UHAUL and took my bed frame (barely used, all parts and great condition) down to this goodwill and was told no, they don't accept bed frames. When I brought up and showed them their own website, the guy said no. I asked if it was a Covid thing, he said no. When asked for an explanation, he just waived his hands and said no. Tried to call their hotline and only available weekdays - update: they never called back as requested. Some customer service you have there in multiple departments. Case and point - notice they only respond to the 4+ star reviews on Google. Learn to grow and be a better at taking concerted feedback.

Lost a longtime customer and donor that quickly.

You can find nice things but prices are too high for used goods when you mostly find new items for the same price at Ross and other similar strores. Especially, when they get everything for free and the CEO makes millions while workers make barely nothing!

This is one of the better goodwills, you can still find good deals. On this visit I bought a pair of nice leather shoes for 2.50$ they where half off color that day. Some prices are higher but you can find deals.

I was at the supper store at sunday the 23.I went to the back of the store and DRANK OUT OF THE DRINKING FOUNTAIN.I noticed that it tasted different like it was well water.I went home and was violently SICK. I didn't eat anything before I went to that store but was up all night vomiting..I haven't been sick in 5 years.and had a Flu shot a week before.I called the water bureau and they said "I know exactly what store you are talking about" tell them to change there filters,,,Its the next day and I am feeling better But I wouldn't wish that kind of sickness on an enemy. So I dont want anything more then to NOT HAVE THAT HAPPEN TO ANY ONE ELCE.

Not very goods:

Not very goods:
-I have visited a few times and selection was not good at first glance.
-Many items are priced unreasonably high by $3-$7 higher than it should be. Inconsistent pricing.
-One female staffer was not welcoming.

The goods:
-On the 4th visit I begin to find a lot of great clothing items. Unique brands to justify the higher thrift store prices.
- 9 out of 10 staffers seemed genuinely happy and thus were super helpful to customers
- dressing rooms are managed tightly resulting in clean and organized dressing rooms.
- colored tag of the month gets 50% off

I bought a lot of great items that were quality pieces and at a fair price for being second hand. $200 spent and felt I got a fantastic wardrobe! Shoes, clothes, and bags.

Children's book selection is weak.

Would not recommend going here during COVID. It seems like the employees are trying their best but there was just way too many people in the store, most of them not respecting social distancing in any way. This is no surprise, with the number of people in the store it was basically impossible to navigate the aisles while staying 6 feet apart from others. I got out of there pretty quick, but people were literally bumping into me. Honestly they shouldn't be open and I regret going at all.
I also had an employee act very rudely towards me when I asked where I could find something. I've been working retail during the pandemic as well, so I completely understand how tired and stressed everyone is. However, it seemed a very unwarranted response to a polite question. Maybe if they limited the number of people able to come in at a time the experience would be less stressful both to employees and customers.

Absolutely horrible customer service. At checkout I had two glass items that were identical but one was priced $4.99 and one was priced $9.99. I was told that they were priced on different days by two different people and that they have certain price points they follow so thats why they were different. Well if they have price points to follow then why would one be double the price? Every other thrift store ive ever been to has honored the lower price when this happens but instead this lady was extremely rude about it and then literally walked away while I was still talking to her. Will not be coming back. They dont care about customer service at all.

Good prices, not so good of a selection but I was specifically looking for a pull over sweater. Yet, seemed the inventory was a bit sparse in general... maybe the result of more people shopping there.

There was a denim jacket for 50 dollars. Like a month later, I go to a different goodwill that had the same denim jacket for 5 dollars. This is ridiculous they literally get the stuff for FREE.

I drove 30 minutes there and got there at 8:25 with my mom and knocked on the doors since they were completely closed last week. We asked why they wouldn't open the doors to tell us they were yelling through the doors (we couldn't even hear them) and about 3 or 4 other customers were outside also pissed they closed early when the hours on the doors say 9pm. The workers were staring and laughing especially the "manager" I would assume who was yelling through the window. The rude way the workers responded to our questions made this goodwill look trashy and rude and I'm not going to be shopping there again.

The young men were so nice they had gloves and mask on for protection and helped empty my car.
They were so polite greeted me...also patient i am 68 years old...they pointed me to where i needed to go.
All and all great experience
