As sad as any other. Items no one wants or needs. Depressing and dirty. Help is not properly trained.

There ARE some decent items , but I don't agree that the " colored tag " thing should be limited to" clothing '. Other resale shops ( by a different name, in other States ) include shoes, housewares, etc in thier " colored tag of the day " . Makes sense, especially if you have lots of items in your store , and people will spend more. I find also that done prices are ridiculously,for some of the merchandise. Who sets the prices ???!

Good place to pick all kinds of items from toy to clothing.

Devon, the manager at the Newton Goodwill, is a fantastic person! I had a flat tire outside of the Newton Goodwill and he offered to change the tire for me when he saw me struggling. He also explained what he was doing, with tips about changing a tire, so all of us "watching" learned something! Newton is lucky to have business people like Devon, who help the community, even when they are not in their place of employment! Thank you, Devon, and Merry Christmas!

This store was very clean and staff were so sweet! Had way more options for Halloween items than I was thinking they would! Definitely going back to see what they will have for Christmas!!

GOODWILL IS A GREAT store with a great MISSION, but lately in Newton Iowa the store has been ran with very little stock, a non-existent manager, poor manager relations with the employees, manager not wanting to work with elderly volunteers, plus more. I am a patron of Goodwill but when everything is being shipped to Goodwill online and there is nothing on the shelves, well there is nothing left to buy, and I haven't bought anything in over a week. NORMALLY I buy almost daily. Let's get it back to what it was before the new manager.

Cant use dressing rooms , no color code discount anymore, too flippin hot in the junk store. Wont be back to that one.

Besides the good cause of offering affordable clothing, furniture, and other pre-owned items. It's a good place to get rid of typicall garage sale items, instead of paying to take them to the landfill. Since its a charitable act, you can actually file the transaction on your taxes...and if your really dig around, you can find high quality merchandise.

Not modernized, but the prices were excellent! Friendly staff. Easy layout. Very happy! Would definitely come again!
