My experience was good, not great.

Service was pretty good (although they never did response to one of my emails). However, we did a cake tasting and custom cake. A large portion of the cakes are the same thing, just different flavours. So while it appeared to be different options, if you weren t a fan of their type of cakes you re out of luck (cake layered with flavoured mouse). We choose this place for variety and really didn t get that. Also, we tried the lemon curd, but we couldn t taste the lemon (unfortunately when I ordered the cake and asked for more lemon flavour, this was the email that wasn t answered). On the other hand, the lemon raspberry was too strong. With that said, the cake was still really great/ one of the best we have had for a vanilla tasting cake (we chose lemon curd as we didn t absolutely love any of the three samples), but the options were limited.

Great costumer service and the presentation of the cakes are on point.

It was my first time buying a cake here and my friend hyped it up aswell as it seemed very busy too, so I bought my bf's birthday cake here. To be honest the cake wasn't very good... maybe I picked a bad flavor (strawberry chocolate), but my family was not a fan of it and not alot of people finished their slice. For the price point and hype I was expecting more, the icing lacked flavor/sweetness and it just tasted like butter/lard. I was hoping it would of had strawberry filing in the middle, it was very basic chocolate cake with flavourless mouse icing. I'm pretty disappointed in the cake... but the icecream was great!

Love their delicious cakes and macaroons, not so much their cookies! I found their ginger cookies kinda on the bland side and salted caramel one was kinda lacking. I would like to try their gelato some time!

Phenomenal. Absolutely stunning cakes & treats. We order from them religiously through work, and personally. I have never met such a tight-nit family oriented bake shop. From the front desk, to baking staff, overnight - you all are shining stars. The taste, and presentation is always outstanding. Thank you so much for always leaving us with smiles and full bellies. :)

We recently had them make a customized cake for our daughter s 1st birthday and they did an amazing job. They made the cake exactly how we imagined it and the taste was probably the best we ve had (both my husband and I agree on this). We first had our wedding cake made from them in 2017 as well and we don t go anywhere else for cakes anymore.

Due to the covid pandemic we weren t sure how we d get w customized cake made but Erika made it super easy to just communicate over email and talk about our idea for the cake. It turned out amazing!

We are so lucky to have Goodies bake shop in Winnipeg.

One of my favorite Bakers in Winnipeg. Never have I ever disappointed in trying something new from Goodies. My favorites are their Red velvet cake, Mandrian Mango Cake , Lemon Raspberry mosses, chocolate tart

I ordered the Mandarin Mango cake for my Mother's 90th Birthday. The cake basically had no taste. It looked nice, but that's about it. My mother said to order a cake from somewhere else next year for her birthday. It was disappointing.

Ordered a custom Gucci cake last minute (less than 2 weeks) but they were able to accommodate my last minute request and it came out AMAZING! It was just like the photo I sent. Customer service was great; everything was quick and easy. Thank you so much for everything!

Just got home from Goodies, and I am less than impressed.
My daughter ordered two cakes for my granddaughters 3rd birthday party. Paid in advance too.
When we got to pick-up the cakes, we waited for about 10-15 minutes for the second cake. After an extended wait time, we were told that my granddaughters second cake was actually the second tier of the same cake we were given.
I guess my lesson learned is to not custom order and just take whatever is offered at the time.

First time I had ordered anything from them. They were able to help me when I was in a pinch. I ordered a specialty cake and it was perfect!! Customer service is to notch too. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was good. I will definitely order from them again, or just pop in to pick up some tasty goodies. It was so hard to only walk out of there with just the cake. Everything else looked amazing!!
