Been trying to buy a home in their new sub division Saddle Pointe and cannot get a call back to set down and go over figures and picking out a lot and home. I got the pre approval letter they requested and have excellent credit over 800 score but guess that doesn t matter to them. After initially talking to them and going to their preferred lender I have received nothing back maybe it s because I don t want to use their preferred lender which they are unprofessional and do not know the regulations on what kinds of loans I am qualified for but that s another issue. I guess they are selling enough they don t care if they sell another home.

They re better at making excuses than building houses. Takes them over a year to build a house. Lied to constantly. There was never anyone working in the subdivision. Five new houses going up and two workers. Absolutely will never use this company again.

We have worked with Nick and his team for years. They are always very pleasant to work with and I recommend them. Great company and great people.

I ve lived in my Thompson built home for just over 5 years...all I wanted to do was update my floors. Every time I do a project around my house I find more cut corners and poor craftsmanship.

Excellent! My spouse and I moved into our new home about 6 months ago, and we couldn't be more happy. The whole team was professional, honest, and willing to help at each step. Our sales representative was easy to work with, and at the Design Center, Jen was a jewel to work with, as she guided us through the selections process. During the construction process, Jared's attention to detail provided a thorough examination of the home, and quickly resolved anything that was out of place, or needed corrected.

We love our new home. Its quiet, efficient, and quality has been great! This is the second home we've had built, and this process and experience was so much easier. We attribute this to the entire team at Thompson Homes.

Worst business ever! They are holding my refund check!! No one is ever in office!! Do not buy from them!!!!

1 YR Update (With Photos):

Nearly every person we worked with has left to work elsewhere. Owner who approved of everything remains the same.

No, they will not come back and fix meaningful errors they have made.

Requested from people 2 years of HOA fees all at once in the middle of COVID.

They have yet to come back and round the corner they missed on our steps and they said they replaced the rocky dirt in our side yard. Flat lie, see the pictures.

They blame all exterior damage on wind rather than the lack of fasteners to hold things in place.

This is the reality of working with these folks.

Don't make my same mistake. Use a different builder. I promise you its not worth using them.

One lie after another... And when you think its over, they lie more. Before building I was told that they would lie through their teeth and I disregarded that advise to my demise. There is a clause in their contract that says they don't have to stand by their verbal commitments and their not responsible for mental anguish. That alone should be a big red flag and I cant believe I didn't walk away then.

They cancelled our 1st home closing because I wouldn't cave to their crookedness and they have yet to fulfill their promises from the second closing.

We have a beautiful home because I was heavily involved with every step. They will not advocate for you and seemingly have zero intentions of doing anything right on their own. Their only goal is to pass code and nothing more. If something isn't done to your specifications but passes code, they could care less.

This is the first "1 star" review I have ever given. I would have severe guilt ever recommending these folks to family (a cousin looking to build with Thompson walked away, built with Jagoe, and didn't have any hiccups).

We move quite a bit, and this is our second time building with Thompson Homes. They really worked hard to help create our vision for our home, and the level of service provided by their Design coordinator and job superintendent during the process were great! Our new house feels like a home and we couldn't be happier!
