Goliath replaced our aging deck, in Onley MD. The owners were easy to work with, and flexible during our many re-design decisions. The on-site workers were also great. We are happy with the end result, and would use their services again.

I hired Goliath because they had amazing reviews from many of my friends and neighbors. Goliath Construction remodeled two of my bathrooms, and my kitchen. The quality work is outstanding and so is their communication and pricing. The job was completed ahead of schedule and went above and beyond my expectations. I have used them various times throughout the years for many projects and will continue to use them and refer them to anyone who needs building or remodeling.
This company took an estimate fee for an estimate that never occured. Joel promised to refund the fee, he has not done this since October 2. This is not a reliable company.
Goliath replaced our out of code wood deck with a Trex composite deck and added a water proof ceiling and ceiling fan underneath/above our patio. The entire experience from quote to project completion was awesome. Courtney was extremely professional, responsive, and great to work with. The work was done on-time and as scheduled. The work crew worked extremely hard, were very professional, did high quality work, and did a great job with the clean-up. This was a big decision for us and it took us a while to settle on a contractor -- in hindsight, we could not be happier we chose Goliath. Everything went exactly as discussed, bid, and planned, there were no surprises. We 100% recommend Goliath to anyone considering a deck - and based on our experience I am sure they are good at everything they do. From a home improvement standpoint, if we have future project, Goliath will be on the top of our list to consider. Again, from the owners to the workers, it was a first class job well done!
We have used Goliath several times over the past few years for projects that we've had around our house. They built a beautiful patio for us 3 years ago, and remodeled our master bath and kitchen earlier this year. Their quality of work is unmatched along with the great team of skilled guys they have working for them. We always recommend them to anyone who asks.
We had a great experience using Goliath. We decided to use them to design our outdoor living space which was practically non-functional. We worked together for about a month until we came up with a beautiful 3-D design that was exactly what we wanted.

Goliath was recommened to us by some friends that had used them for a project previously. They were very professional from the beginning. We had them design and build a large deck for us, it was around 725sqft. Everything went smoothly and the quality of work was perfect. Highly recommend them.
This should be a ten star rating. Goliath is by far the best construction company I have ever used. My whole finished downstairs was flooded do to a pipe break. They worked with my insurance company which took that stress off of me. They were on time, the work is top notch, professional, they pay attention to detail. Don't look any further if you need something done in your home. I have other projects to be done in the near future, and they will be my go to company.

Goliath Construction remodeled our Master Bathroom. Courtney and Juver were great to work with and understood our needs and design style. They were responsive through out the planning and pricing stages and continued to quickly answer questions through out construction. They also stopped by on a regular basis to make sure that everything was going well and consult with us on various decisions. Their team was flexible and accommodating and most importantly, did very nice work. Hugo was the team lead and was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Goliath Construction and hope to work with them on future projects.
I reached out to Goliath kind of blindly from some research I did on the internet. The reviews were positive and the photos of past outside deck work were exactly what we were looking for to do at our house.
Our discussions started with a simple new first floor deck. But then we soon discussed and added a new rain system to the deck work and then a new basement level patio below the deck to the construction project. At first I did not want to take on such a large project / expense but the ideas that Christine and Hoover offered were too good not to consider. And we had spoken to no less than eight other companies about the project. So we signed up for the complete rear of the house deck and patio paver project.
As far as the execution, Courtney in the main office was great in terms of keeping me up to date on material delivery times and when the project crews would do the work. Christine and Hoover checked in on the project everyday in the morning and even when they worked over the weekend. As far as the crews, they were fabulous, no matter what temperature it was outside. They showed up on time, worked a full day, friendly and courteous, and cleaned up everything after each segment of the project. All in, working with Goliath was a very pleasant experience and I have a few other house project ideas in mind and the first people I will call is Courtney / Christine / Hoover with Goliath to discuss their thoughts.
If you are considering some house project work, no matter how large, you should listen to the Goliath Teams' ideas and if you decide to go with Goliath, you should have an equally terrific experience. I honestly can tell you I very pleased with the entire experience.
They built us close to 1,000 square foot deck. What really set them apart was the designs they did for us (it was many) before we decided on what we liked. Everything turned out better than what we expected! The quality of work, designs, communication was everything we wanted. We will love our new outdoor space for a long time to come.
We were very pleased from start to finish with Goliath Construction s replacement of our deck and the addition of a new screened-in porch. The bid for the project was competitive and all work proceeded to schedule with no issues. The overall quality of the finished deck and porch is excellent. Because the workers were Goliath employees (rather than subcontracted) and the same team was used for the duration of the project it was easy to communicate and address any changes on the spot. The company owners were very involved and present on site every work day. We found them to be very responsive to our questions and requests and they provided useful and workable options when needed. We highly recommend Goliath Construction and would definitely use them again for other projects.
Our deck served us well for over 30 years, but it was in desperate need of a facelift. So I checked HomeAdvisor and found Goliath. They completed our 4 level deck in about a week at a very reasonable price. They did a great job and the deck looks fantastic. They also removed all the debris from the old deck. I would highly recommend them.
We had wanted a screened in porch for a while and began to talk with contractors in Spring 2019. We felt very comfortable after talking with Goliath that not only were they capable and in the ballpark of the other estimates, but that they were truly committed to quality work. We began working with them on the designs and specifications, and we had lots of questions because although we knew generally what we wanted, there were lots of details and decisions to be made. They struck the perfect balance of making suggestions, pricing out options, and providing guidance without dictating changes. We changed our minds several times about this or that and they were always amenable. I should note that the job was not only the addition but replacing two large windows in the back, one with a custom sliding door and the other with 3 windows. The addition included a deck, an outdoor gas fireplace and TV, so they had to run electric and gas line. They also replaced our roof and gutters. There were challenges (the shop we bought the windows from dropped them loading for delivery, the inspections were, at times, nightmarish), but Goliath stayed calm, made adjustments, and pushed through. I should also say there were many crews working and all were extremely professional and respectful. We would definitely use Goliath again and would highly recommend them to others.
We bought a house at the end of last year (2018) with the intention of expanding at some point. When we moved in, we saw Goliath building a large addition down the street from us. We had them come to our house to give us a proposal of adding on a second story. We liked them from the very beginning, they were very friendly, knowledgeable, and open to our ideas. We ended up hiring them and I can't say enough of how happy we are. We doubled our square footage in the house, and while the process was long, they finished ahead of schedule and under budget. We highly recommend them to anyone.
