My son and I just visited Golf Quest in Southington after hearing Chris Cote bought the facility and is upgrading it. The new technology is amazing. The prices are great and the customer service was amazing. Very helpful and patient explaining how to work the new system. Had a long discussion explaining the planned upgrades and renovations in the works. The future looks bright for this facility.
Great fun, beautiful landscaping, and terrific pricing. Highly recommend.
I'm addicted, I go 4-5 x a week. Heated Tees for diehard winter play. Good deal on the prepaid cards for frequent flyers. The golf shop staff is professional; they fitted my wife for several clubs (Pings) to replace her starter set. There are lessons available as well.
Nice facility, maybe a little tired, but it serves its purpose well
Quick entry , can refill buckets at your leisure , plenty of room
UNBEARABLE environment for an evening of outdoor mini-golf. We didn't even make it halfway around the course. We were attacked by mosquitoes!!! The stagnant, smelly water at this facility is their breeding site. This place needs to address- water issue, ripped carpeting, missing #'s and missing lights. We complained to the front desk and were given passes to return. I don't plan on going back until they clean up the place.
If I could give 0 stars I would. If you want mini golf, go somewhere else. The place is being held together with duct tape and the jungle of weeds is a harbor for mosquitos.
Great help from the staff, golf balls were on their last dimple and range looked in terrible shape.
Great range and fantastic pro shop. I recently got re fitted for my irons and the difference was crisp high shots..
The mini golf is disappointing- run down and water logged. Also no fun obstacles for kids.
Great place to go for tees. They have enough space and cheap enough.
Kind of expensive and the range is dated and the distance markers don't make sense
If you just want to hit balls and do not care about how things look, this place will do.
The driving range gets the job done. Easy in and out.
The two male employees that work the desk have been incredibly rude to me MANY times. If the next closest range wasn t 25 min away from me I would never give this place another cent. I ve walked in 30-40 min before they closed and with out being greeted and asked how I could be helped. I was rudely reminded that they close in 30 min and that I shouldn t buy more tokens. I guess I ll take my money to Richter s newer and nicer range now that spring s finally here.
Nice place, but the mini golf course needs a lot of work.
Tee boxes, club fitting and overall facility is good. The range and putting area, however, are a disaster. Looks like Afghanistan - see pic. Plus range faces south-southwest. Unless you're hitting in the am, you're hitting into the sun by early afternoon till sunset. Hard to see ball flight. Needs much TLC.
Prices are cheap for over 100 golf balls, friendly staff and good free club rentals for the range.
I loved hitting here, great place to work on your game
Friendly staff and nice peaceful setting. I used the driving range and it was very quiet and relaxing.
Scott & his staff are spot on! Great selection, prices, & service with smile!
Good place...could use regular updates to driving range area fairways; practice putting green and chipping areas
The grilled cheese burger is so good!!! The owner came out and talked with us!!
Their mini golf needs a major update or maintenance rather. They have some interesting holes but the numbering was off when you get half way. Also, there was debris almost at every hole. When I went there was no one surveying the plays so maybe it was just an off day after a storm? Try to give benefit of a doubt. Pricing was typical.
Golf range quality is about average (decent size, reasonable price, not modern equipment) but the biggest issue I have is that it's almost impossible to see the ball. The golf range should either be oriented to North or South but this is directly to West so the sun is right in your eyes when you want to see the ball in the afternoon. Perhaps playing in the morning would be better (haven't confirmed it yet) but still the worst range if you want to track your ball trajectory.
A great local place to practice your drive, but the putting green needs some work.
Always well kept and plenty of balls. 2 levels sonit is very rare not to find an open space
Aged. They need to replace the fake turf so you can see where you hit your ball.
Could be cleaner and have an updated mini golf course that had not been let go. No outdoor employee, so expect to walk if you lose your ball to the water.
good driving rage batting cages putting green hitting out of the bunker or playing minigolf and a great air conditioned rotunda and golf shop
The driving range does the trick but the mini golf is a dive. It could definitely use an update.
Only went to the mini golf course. Cheap but in need of maintenance.
If you want a professional golf club fitting, Golf is the only place to go in Fairfield County!
Solid range, never too crowded and staff is friendly.
