Goleta Valley Beautiful Review

Love this store, although it may be busy at times, I always find what I need and the employees are very respectful.

I like this store mainly because it's smaller than most stores. I have bad feet and the less I have to walk, the better.

Excellent store, has everything. I"ve been going there for years.

The lines are long but move quickly. Friendly helpful employees. It was really very nice to shop there.

It was an enjoyable experience. The cashier was friendly.

When it comes to Super Markets we have a Few Good Ones to choose from. My local Albertsons is one my personal favorites because of their attention to detail. What I mean, is that all of their shelves are fully stocked and products are faced in the right direction. Price labels are well organized and visible. There is cleanliness throughout the store. Recently, they've upgraded to include self-serving checkouts. Which can be both convenient or not, depending on user error. Personally, I've had times of great success and times where I've just pressed the wrong buttons... Nonetheless, it's the smiles underneath the covid masks, that keep me coming to my local Albertsons.

Overall great store just a tad bit too small for my personal liking. Nothing wrong with it it just the location for a grocery store is too small

I went there late at night in search of fresh ginger. While I didn't find it myself, the staff helped me out and was very friendly.

This is a really small Albertsons location. Don't expect them to have the same breadth of selection as larger stores. It's a convenient place to grab groceries on your lunch break. The lines are always short. The store is not that crowded. Plenty of parking space.

Easy to get in and out. Way overpriced when compared to Costco though.

Great store go to bed and that's kind of weird like there's not a lot of stuff I know that all of a sudden a lot of people aren't aware of it yet but or when it's even going to happen but staff is always been friendly store is the immaculate awesome hot and cold deli you got to go check it out great prices to

Small town grocery, however, pretty good wine and above average meat and produce. In frequent lines, cheapest house plants in town.

Favorite grocery store in the county! Next to this, Trader Joe's

Albertsons is great they have a really large selection of beer

Aisles are narow, sometimes dirty, prices not that great, not enough checkers. I miss Von's.

Stopped in for a special on water but website had wrong info. A wasted trip.

Nice grocery store with a full service meat & seafood counter. Great selection of produce & dry food goods.

1. Like the staff, of varying ages, who are hard working, helpful and friendly.
2. Noticing some personally unwelcome brand change issues lately, especially in Dairy (what's with all the Lucerne products taking up more and more shelf space?) & Deli (Import brands disappearing?).
3. I shop here often for staples, so please don't change too much.

Good prices, staff are pretty friendly. Parking however can be a nightmare.

Customer service...I couldn't find mayo. Female checker told me location,,,young male packer was not offering to fetch it. So this old lady . going on 80 got it., while they waited. I appreciate the special folks who are helpful and will get what is needed by the customer.

It was nice seeing Pauline, who is such a kind person and checker. I know her from the Goleta store on Hollister.

I drove to this store tonight for what I thought would be a nice little take home dinner. At 6:00 pm, their hot deli case was nearly empty. A pile of breaded fried chicken, that was about it. They don't offer soup ever, they didn't have much in their cold case either.
The hot case was nearly empty because they close it out at about 4:30 they said!

In comparison, the Albertson's in North Goleta always offers cooked salmon filets, as well as chicken. So if my timing is off for the baked chicken, I can always get one of those. 3 soups, it's rare that there isn't a least a couple to choose from. And their deli is open until I believe 7:00 pm

I will not be going back to the Fairview deli.

Very crowded aisles. But the wait in line made Costco look like a speed lane. Probably 30 people in lines and the lines barely moving. I was in line over 15 minutes. Albertsons is the closest supermarket to me. Will I return? Only in an emergency!

Limited selection due to small size, but exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Always a pleasure to shop here.

They are doing repairs, which is needed. Totally disorganized, good luck figuring out the chaotic line. The staff did not even know. And people were frustrated and pushy.

I wish I could rate this store at zero stars. 2nd time of bad customer experience and service my first time experiencing the way higher authorities treat other employees infont of customers is concerning. The 2nd time was tonight I purchased my items and asked for $10.00 cash back pretty simple task I would think. No the cashier forgot to give me my money I realized in the parking lot and went back in the same cashier was rude processed to tell me she given the $10.00 at checkout. The supervisor overheard he then took my receipt and looked though security feed his answer was no cash was given during check out.The supervisor gave me my $10.00 about 10 minutes later I went next door to purchase a item with the bill that was given to me.only to find out the $10.00 bill the was fake. I then went back to Albertsons asking for real money very unapologetic unprofessional staff. Please do yourself a favor and do not do business with them

I love to go to your grocery shop again and again! Your staff was very responsive if ever I have any concerns. I could see that the people who work there are always friendly and helpful. I will never forget this experience with you, guys! It was a great place to buy! I will be recommending your shop here in our place!

Small neighborhood grocery store trying to keep pace with its larger competitors, but restricted by its small footprint.

They have good buys they are very friendly large veritey of vegetables

Would be 5, but shelves were missing items. I know they're probably understaffed, or their "load" hasn't come in for the week, yet. Been coming here for 26 years, and still prefer it to Trader Joe's, and Sprouts. Tj's SO crowded, and Sprouts is expensive, and limited on many typical grocery items. Too many vitamins and supplements, but that's where the $$ is, probably. Produce has FANTASTIC prices with it's weekly specials, and great produce. Great deli, too.

So me and my wife are on vacation from Texas. We needed some groceries so we went to Albertsons. We bought what we needed and we where pulling up to the register.
I heard one of the employees tell another female employee look they don't have bags and they have a bunch groceries lets leave so they don't call us. I had forgotten they charge for plastic bags here in California.
At first i thought it was joke or he was kidding but nope they left.
I felt bad for the cashier because it was somewhat busy. He paged them 3 times they did not show to do there job.
So i bagged my own groceries worst part the cashier did not help he just said We would hire you.
This guys have a job to do as a customer I expect them to do it. It is part of the service that Albertsons offers to its customers but these employess failed to do that simple task. I was really disappointed and annoyed that how irresponsible and lazy these youngsters treat there job.
People like that make me never want to shop at Albertsons ever again.

This is a mid to full sized grocery store with a decent variety of goods, and very fresh looking produce. (Compared to other states, it's fairly typical in California)
The staff here are always friendly, and they do a good job of finding employment opportunities for applicants who might be considered special needs, or otherwise differently abled persons who are frequently exuded from the workforce elsewhere.

Well stocked store out in Goleta off of Fairview Ave. I prefer shopping at Albertsons, so this store is the closest one in the Santa Barbara area.
The parking is adequate and usually no lines to get inside the store. Can find most items on my grocery list. They have a small deli and fresh meat counter.
Employees are courteous and helpful. Checkout usually moves fairly quickly.

Great bur the meat department really stinks as in smells horrible.

Nice place, great help, and I found everything I needed here.
