Great location almost in downtown Long Beach. Clean restrooms and showers, neat sites.
The staff was not very friendly but maybe it is just me.

The welcome is not the strength of this place but I understand we were coming on a busy weekend.
All the services are great.
The resort is very well maintained and very clean everywhere.
Toilets, showers, pool are somehow making this quite affordable.
Nice RV park Clean Bathrooms, and pool.
Overall site is near downtown and port.
A kind of oasis in the busy area. In the evening a nice dinner at the bay!
Not impressed. Most expensive rv park we used in 3 week tour. Wi-fi didn t work, no hot water in basins in men s washroom so shaving was hard work. Good location obviously but needs to make more effort.
Completely inflexible check in. 2-7pm only with no exceptions. Because I questioned this they canceled my reservation. I have never had service like this anywhere. The campground is closed for renovations and I can not arrive a day earlier either. I love it! RV parks acting like some sort of high brow resort.
Very nice campground. We enjoyed the most from the warm pool. Kids loved it.
I would give 5 stars, but just when coming to the campground we found out there is no Wifi (and it will take more tgan 1 month to fix), which was big dissapointment for my son... still in the website it showes as if they have Wifi.
It was very Good Stay down there . Because Their Good Service Manger try to be nice to us.
This place is located right on the beach by LAX. Because it's close to LAX there are planes overhead but the sound of the Pacific Ocean drowns out the noise of the airplanes. It's kid & pet friendly.
This place is an Oasis from the hustle and bustle. A paradise of unspeakable beauty overlooking the Pacific Ocean
Thank you esmeralda for getting us in last minute! This park has an excellent location near the beach with bikes that you can rent close by. The park was very clean. Bathroom and showers are available which were very nice. We did not have time to use the pool but it looked great. Very accommodating to us as pet owners as well. We hope to be back very soon. Rock on!
Beautiful park. Ants are a problem. Get some diatomaceous earth and sprinkle around all areas ants could get into your rv.
Best RV resort in the South Bay area of LA. Small park, about 80 stalls, makes it cozy and warm.
Staff are the best, pool and hot tub recently refurbished. Highly recommended, but make sure to check ahead for reservations as this place is hot.
Great position, but very little, and they don't accept Amex credit cards. Reception is not open at all hours, and external contact is not easy. Do not visit unless you booked in advance; it's suitable for little-mid RVs, and there are few places available.
Great location, beautiful park. The only problem is the spaces are not very wide. This is a problem with larger rigs with slides on both sides
Sites are very small and cramped. My friend arrived a few days before and asked the staff if they could place me in a site across from him and they said they were expecting a group so they could not accommodate. When I arrived 3 days later the sites across from him were still open and I asked the staff about putting me at one of the two sites and he said he could not as they were expecting a group of 7 or 8 campers. I asked if they paid more $$ to reserve the specific sites and he said no. I asked what happened to first come first serve and he just shrugged his shoulders. He said he would put me in one of the larger sites. Well I have a 35' fiver and I could barely fit my rig and my truck. I had to move the picnic table to the back of the site in order to get my truck in the site. The two sites across from my friend remained open the entire week I was there. So much for the group.
The location is great since you can ride your bike to The Pike and the outlet stores and many restaurants within riding distance. Other reviews talked about the noise but I did not notice any of it.
I would return due to the location but bear in mind that you will not have much wiggle room.
Contrary to the owners reply indicting the site was fully prepaid and showed up late that is not true, they never showed during my entire stay and the two sites remained opened for the 4 nights/ 5 days that I was there. And I was told you cannot reserve a specific site but can request it in the notes when you book your reservation but that will not guarantee the site.
The park itself is located in a great spot. And most of the people were great. Just remember to never park near their sewer spots because theyre infested with ants and will infect your motorhome!!!!
Nice park and well run. Clean and maintained. The pool and hot tub were nice. Its easy to find and is only a short ride to the waterfront and there is a long bike path right out of the gate. The only downside can be the road noise in the north side and having to get out of your truck to open the gate to enter.. Both minor issues.
Friendly people. We can walk to the Catalina boats.
Good location near downtown Long Beach, next to small natural preserve. Spots are large with room for our towed car. Bathrooms and showers are large and clean. WiFi is marginal, works OK sometimes, and poor other times. Would NOT use for streaming video.
Easy to get in and out of park (security gate closed all the time), as well as large parking spots. Nice clean restrooms and showers. Pool and hot tub are nice. Great lawn area for kids, and very little road noise.
Nice place clean well kept. People are nice to. Lots of Family's
Great RV Park! We used it the night before returning the RV. Everything you need. Washing machine, dryer, shower, toilet, pool and jacuzzi, all seats Full Hook up.
Everything was well maintained. Staff friendly.
Like this place, conveniently located, nicely maintained. I took one star off rating because the mgmt hates dogs. I have never seen so many no dogs allowed here no dogs allowed there no dogs allowed everywhere signs. And the designated dog run is a teeny little dirt spot that is not a good dog run at all.
Editing to respond to reply... I do understand the need to have rules regarding where dogs can be and whatnot....if Golden Shore could configure a better designated dog area....bigger, with grass....that would really make it a better place for those with dogs. You have the space for this in several areas. Also, I did give 4 stars, and I do really like your place....nicely maintained, friendly staff...the canine factor is only downside. Thanks for the reply :-)
Great place to stay and the staff is very good to work with.
Very clean and surprise for the middle of downtown Long Beach
Clean, quiet. Nice pool/hot tub/showers. Gate needs keypad on drivers side and pool closes too early!
Beautiful campsite, nice, clean and efficient. Spacious toilet. Small minimarket with everything you need. Excellent pool and spa tub. Quiet area. Bus stop very close and on foot to reach the center in no time. A pleasure!
Great staff! Excellent customer services! Great Wifi connection
Grate bathrooms and bbq's
All services were fine
the cangi family stayed here a few times in 2010 -2011. The spaces are small and the staff is not very amiable to questions and open communication. The manager chided us for speaking with the guests and making friends and exchanging conversation. The manager was really angry and told us to only speak to her. when i asked the guest if talkjing among ourselves was a problem the answer was no. I see this alot in the various places that we have lived, that when there is conflict, the management chooses to handle it by stifling speech or allowing bullys to dictate ther overall atmoshere. That is not good business or a good working environment. So as a guest i don't think its good customer service to allow conflict to ruin solving difficulty. This is not the answer in any organization or business. it does not motivate and facilitate sales , People will come back to a place just because they like you . and customers know if the personalities are being real and genuine instead of playing a role, It always shows when an environment is conducive to open conflict management and deescalating a situation in order to produce a solution. we have seen this everywhere we go to try and live. as soon as there is conflict . then the management gives up. I worked in sales with my brother and father at space builders and noticed that customers like genuine warmth.Brenda kaycangi 10/09/12
Very nice RV park on the water in Long Beach. Very quiet and serene. Security gate was a major plus.
Great location, LB free Bus stop very near, Newer heated Pool and Hot Tub
Nice quiet spot in Long Beach. A short drive away from the beach.
Nice little park in Long Beach. Location is good. The park is clean and tidy and the RV spots are generous. The pool is heated and the hot tub is ... hot. Misses out on 5 stars because they were inflexible about letting us into the park before the standard 2pm, even though they had empty plots.
Best location for a visit to Long Beach. So clean and well run. This is visit number 4 and looking forward to Our April visit for the Long Beach Grand Prix
Almost everything is right with Golden Shore RV Resort. Perfect location, pretty grounds, clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff, full hookups, etc. You can catch a free shuttle bus out front or take a healthy walk to the Shoreline Drive or a different frer shuttle to the Queen Mary (avoid weekends). The only issue I have (and it's an important one to me) is their dog run facilities. It's located so far in the back and is an insult to dogs everywhere. It's gravel, nasty looking and my dogs wouldn't even go in. Might work for small dogs but even then rather questionable. Almost everyone I saw took their dogs off the property to have them potty. There are easily some better spots within the park that they could convert to a better dog friendly area. This reason alone is the ONLY reason I gave them a 4 rather than 5 stars. I still HIGHLY recommend this place. Some have complained the spots are tight to back into but we have a 40 foot 5th wheel and didn't have a huge issue.
Clean and quiet. No problems. Sites and pool were nice
Pretty crowded, expensive, nuts about where your dog can pee, and the very worst is the sites are all sand. What a mess. Lots of kids enjoyed the heated pool.
The laundry equipment is old but works okay. At least it's cheap - $1 to wash and $1 to dry.
Go outside the gate and take a nice walk to the right; it circles back around and goes past Catalina Express. Drive to Joe Jost (since 1924) for an ice cold beer, homemade sausage sandwich and the best pickled eggs! Cheap too!
1st night my neighbors were up until 1:45 not a good night. Office manager Olivia called me the very next morning to assure me this wouldn't happen again. I'm hoping that she is going to take care of the issues. Otherwise very nice place and good manager
