Cute little arts building! I had the pleasure of performing here for the Berk's Jazz Festival. The sound crew was very helpful and the venue is very nice!

I enjoy the eclectic arts n crafts, there,n u cn interact with the artist.
Really interesting space for various creative fields, from dance to painting and woodworking. The restaurant is supposedly good but unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to try it this time around.
I was married here in 2017. The entire staff was amazing, the events coordinator, the assistant, the desk guide everyone. They were thoughtful and compassionate and understanding of a bride losing her mind trying to get her wedding off without a hitch. I wish they had another location closer to Philadelphia, but they were affordable, knowledgeable, helpful, clean and everything else you could ask for. DONT THINK ABOUT IT BOOK YOUR EVENT THERE NOW!
Put an art supplies store so people in the neighborhood buy there help keep money coming in. I love the place i live across from it there is so much more you can do outta there , an by the way love the new lounge !!
One of the very few areas of culture in a city that has little to no culture. Beautiful artwork, great architecture to the building, a little confusing to get through, but I'm more than happy to get lost amongst the artwork here. Not to mention, the amazing classes they offer for everyday people to take.
I never knew so many local artists, and businesses were in the goggle. Visited my friends new Photography studio Ryan Matz
The kids love going here. We enjoy the art. I wish there was more activities to do. All in all a great experience. Would definitely recommend taking a trip here.
This place is Absolutely amazing! Really awesome yummy food! The arcade is huge and they have a game pass all you can play for 2 hours only 20 Bucks! Cheap place to take your kids for a day out! They have escape rooms and a 4 or 5 story ball pit! It's fun for kids and adults!
Great theater seats, comfortable atmosphere, unsual films. But staff seems to be a little full of itself.
Great adaptive reuse project! Amazing artists throughout the building and the best store for buying gifts!
Beautiful place! My bro wedding was here...recommend highly
We participated in a glass blowing class. It was great! Definitely recommend to anyone interested.
Very spacious, great for gatheringd and dvent space rental. Different rooms available and some very affordable.
Staff very friendly. Diamond in the rough of Reading
I have been going to the Goggleworks theater upon the opening of it's doors. It is a great theater for entertainment for those who are single or a duo/group. The upscale seats with head backrests is very comfortable as you might think you are at home in your favorite chair. Staff are very social and considerate. It is a place where you find your foreign films to a classic that comes to your local theater. I recommend this theater to anyone who is a movie buff. Thank you, Al Boscov!!!
Great place to find that special gift. Many artisans represented.
My sister has her dance classes here. We like to wonder the building after. Everyone we see employee/visitor is very polite and pleasent. They change their displays often and always have something new and interesting that adults and children can appreciate. Bathrooms are clean for the toddlers that just cant wait till you get home. Although the gift shop is a little pricy I love the Reading merch, handmade items, and supporting local artists. The Goggle Works is a great part of Reading.
What's not to love! Great paintings and installations from local artists. Always new stuff showing up. Plus, hot glass demos and studio time for yourself if you want it. There is also a great gift shop with a full range of local art.
Just had my wedding here. Staff was so helpful and the venue was perfect.
Great experience; helpful staff! Beautiful works of art!
Was the event planner for a wedding at Goggle Works in early Oct. 2016 and the staff was amazing to work with. They were incredibly helpful, assisting us with setting up chairs, table cloths, cleaning up, etc. Really unique venue with lots of awesome places to take pictures.
What an original and fantastic idea to repurpose this area! Everyone we met was friendly and positive. We were very pleased to be invited into the glass art area to watch the artists in their element. Definitely a place that we will continue to visit. Each visit will include new art and experiences! Thanks for a great first impression!
Neat place to visit with a variety of options to enjoy. However, parking is an issue especially during events so arrive early.... something I never do, to minimize drama with family/ friends.
This is a positive addition to Reading, Pennsylvania! Lots of talented artists! The movie theatre is excellent with wonderful film choices! I, especially, like Monday evenings with discussions after each movie.
Entrance to the Arts Festival @ Goggle Works 2019. Exceptional experience...Go!
I'm not familier with the whole building but my sister's dance academy is fantastic
Great space and good programs -- especially happy they now have an interesting restaurant, too. They also offer great films in the Boscov Film Theater -- a cozy screening room with good curation...
Always an inspiration space for me. Aside from the art that's on display, you get a sense and energy of incredible creativity.
I love art and this place has so many different classes that teach you about art!
Fun place for a movie or to check out some local artists' work.
If you like art this is definitely the place you want to go to!
I had a wonderful time here. Some excellent exhibits and it was fun to see artists in their studio.
surprising lack of goggles, but the exhibits and studios make up for it
Pq one asks for something as one wants it and says it is not
Favorite place in reading. So much cool stuff on every floor. You can visits with the artists of you want too.
Amazing artist space with many interesting classes.
This is a place one should visit several times a month. Exhibits change and the movies are great
I paid $100 each for an art class for my children and what a waste of money. I sat in on a class and more then half the time was spent on anything but learning how to draw. I wanted them to learn something other then the liberal views of the teacher who clearly didn't know how to engage the kids to begin with.
Always enjoy viewing the galleries, especially the prints upstairs, closing this weekend, can't wait to have a Sly Fox pilsner while doing so!
Don't compete in any art competition, politics plays a major role in that place. They will take your money to sign you up and award it to a stupid drawing just because those people know each other. Don't take their sorry, stay away. Mark my words you will remember them
Very nice place with a wide variety of artistry. The staff is friendly and helpful. This can be a great place for a date night experience.
Love Goggleworks. A true diamond in Reading. Local artists maintain studios where you can see them work. I love to be able to interact with the artists when they have their studio door open. Additionally, there is a movie theater where they show indie films. I would spend every weekend here.
I hate to use idioms but the Goggleworks is truly a hidden gem waiting to be discovered!
We have taken many classes there and they all are outstanding. My artistic talent is in the area of maybe being able to draw a straight line, yet, in each class the instructor did their best to insure I left the class with a new skill and better understanding of the topic.
The intimate experience of their movie theater is wonderful. It is so nice to have a local venue to view films previously unavailable in the area.
The artists in residence are open for visits giving you that personal insight to artistic creativity.
The staff is very helpful and the positive attitude is refreshing.
One warning to the guys: they have a wonderful gift shop; if you are with your significant other, be prepared to spend some money or wait a long time while they shop!
Blind Boy Paxton put on an amazing show on Sunday, but, the Goggleworks did him no justice. There were not nearly enough seats available compared to the number of tickets sold. Standing room only was not advertised. The sound quality was terrible. And to make matters worse, the bar stayed open while this amazingly talented man performed. The audience could not hear Mr Paxton over the very loud bar staff who just would not quiet down even after some in the crowd were pleading with them to *shush.*
A bit confusing of a layout but while there for a wedding it was beautiful!
Located in reading with parking access across the street. Good array of local artist and workshops. Also available for private events.
A wonderful asset to the community featuring artists' studios, gallery space, classrooms, offices, a wood shop, glass blowing studio, movie theater, and more.
Check out the seasonal course syllabus for dozens of classes held year-round.
What a great thing to do to an old factory. So much character, especially all the wonderful art.
The Raku was fun to make and the art was fun to look at. The people were kind and welcoming.
The Last time I was here was for an art show there are different artist here selling their art and crafts nice place to visit
Must see if in Reading. Local artists showing as well ad opportunity to see some at work. Nice snack bar with delicious food.
I attended an initial class with my daughter which was fabulous. But as I explored the art work on the main floor the staff was not very welcoming. I was made to feel too much like an outsider when my daughter previously had art work on display there & I had family whose souls were engraved in that former factory.
Good classes and nice rental space for small groups
