Good dinner tonight at Goed Proeven. Nice and tasty tapas style dishes for a nice price. Large portions that make it possible to share together. Friendly service and a pleasant space to stay. We will come back for sure.
We have eaten badly. and that is the least annoying the service is like you are not there no reception long wait until someone comes to you, do nothing in the whole thing the service is busy, but not with the guests alone with each other very bad.! !!
My most beloved restaurant in Arnhem! Have been here so often and come back here more often. The dishes are exceptional and of unique quality. Always nice staff. It's nice that it is located in the center, in a versatile neighborhood.
Tapas / shared dining. Delicious eaten and not expensive. Too bad that 1 dish only came to ask several times. The rest arrived on time. Friendly service.

The place is nice, but the menu is a bit slim and unfocused. It leaves one with the feeling of unsuccessfully trying to achieve a lot of different cuisines. Also the prices are pretty steep, considering what you get. Could use some more vegetarian options.

Very nice place where a train passes every two to three minutes. The menu is very price-friendly and consists of all kinds of small snacks that you can share with each other. Snacks are served quickly and friendly staff who quickly deliver your order.
Nice atmospheric shop, just outside the center so a different atmosphere than in the city center. Extensive lunch menu with really nice items. Can the rest of Arnhem take an example! Operation really great! Friendly and spontaneous. Really recommended!
A great restaurant with well prepared food. At first glance it may look slightly more expensive than other places but that certainly isn't the case. Overall good and pleasant staff. They also took the time to prepare a custom meal for one of our guests (allergies). I had a good experience but still will avoid this place as it is often too crowded. You nearly need to shout to talk. Similar to a crazy tavern in the movies ><.
Delicious pizzas! The one with peach is also recommended.

On a sunny day in Arnhem sat here on the terrace in the sun. It took us a while to get our order. It seemed as if they had forgotten. In the end it tasted fine, but it was not special. Inside they have a very nice interior reminiscent of a film set.

Very nice restaurant with good food. Very extensive and varied menu with smaller dishes to share with table companions. The round table was also very pleasant. We had a wonderful evening.
Only downside is that parking in the area is not to do. The best option is the garage under the media market. Or go public transportation of course.
We have eaten several times at Goed Proeven. We are fine with the food and the portions are sufficient. Price - quality is in balance.
Personally I get tired of the background music in the restaurant; I don't like music to eat with.
Very nice restaurant. Quite a lot of seats but still very spacious, and also nice that there is a lot of space to sit at the bar (and eat). We have eaten a bean sprouts. Something new, and surprisingly tasty. The prices are OK. Not cheap, but not expensive either.
Coming from Belgium, I think it is special to be able to visit this tasty and quirky kitchen. Creative, special atmosphere and culinary more than good.

Ideal for large groups. You order small dishes that you share with the whole table. The quality is generally good, although there is an occasional setback.
That it is mainly aimed at large groups is accompanied by a lot of noise, busy staff with little attention and a few times a evening a birthday song with matching dessert with fireworks.

It is always nice to be with good tasting. The formula is a great concept and the food is always excellent. Especially nice if you can eat your chosen parts of your meal at the setting sun on the terrace.

Very tasty food, but inside it's a chicken coop, very loud! It is difficult for your table companion to understand when your noise is not ideal during noise.

Pretty good, varied menu. Could probably use a few more vegetarian options. No strong unified theme. There's some classic bistro fare, some Central Asian dishes, some Mediterranean.

It is quite a large space, and when it's busy (which is most of the time) it can be quite noisy.
Food is tasty, but service is below par. I've visited it several times over the past few weeks, and even when it was not busy no attention was given while our drinks had been running for half an hour. Tonight again: more than 20 minutes before someone came to offer us something to drink and a map. Back in time, the service was really better. Too bad, I liked it.

It was too warm inside in my opinion. It took ages for the food and drinks to be served and it wasn't as cozy as I expected it to be.
That said, the staff was amazing; they were extremely kind, patient and honest. The food was amazing, especially when you consider the prices. If you're looking for a simple dinner or lunch I recommend going here. I also think this place would be perfect for a business lunch/dinner. The menu has choices for everyone and the atmosphere is perfect to talk business.
Long waiting times before the food or drinks are brought. The food is not always served equally for everyone. Sometimes more than 5 minutes in between. The food is good. Unfortunately for us not worth repeating.
Nice little place, with very good food for good price
Poor service. Creative menu but lacks finesse and attention to detail. I ordered a buffalo chickendip in a heavy cheese sauce which was served with equally salty nachos. Needless to say it was not to my liking. Moreover, it was served 15(!) minutes ahead of the other (seven) dishes. Both chicken pizza and nacho-guacamole salmon had too much BBQ sauce and were very salty. We asked for a jug of water which was refused because they only served water by glass. No apologies were made. Not returning here.
Super bad communication there. Our starter came after the main course. Then we got meat that was still frozen so brought back there would be new and our dessert they would wait until the dish could still be served. Well not so dessert came and dish was not back very bad.

We always like to come here and it rarely disappoints us. The spicy minced meat pizza is something we always order with it. Which is great!

I like the concept, sharing various snacks with your table mates. It is just not tapas, because the snacks are too big for that.
The round tables are too small for 4 people. We have to put the empty bottles, the napkins (standard with kitchen roll) and the pot with cutlery on the ground in order to be able to place all glasses and dishes with food on the table.
The service was not good. Repeatedly asked if the empty glasses, bottles and plates could be removed. It was said every time "I send someone like that", but the one did not come then.
At half past 9 we were informed that the kitchen would close for the hot food. Very early, I've never experienced this before in a restaurant. The girl who came to tell me would come back after her round to take our next order, but she did not come back.
Then all the tables around us were already cleaned up. That is possible in itself, only the chairs were already put on the tables. That gives a feeling that they want you to leave quickly.
The food itself was good, but the poor service and the feeling that they wanted to leave you, gives a lesser experience.
The two stars are therefore exclusively for the food.
