If you like to kayak, this is the place to go. John and his staff are friendly, very knowledgeable and patiently answered all the questions I had. I know kayaking is a complicated sport and I'm just an amateur. It was great to have the experience and guidance of John and his team. Mahalo for providing a safe and positive experience!

Friendly customer service and only place on island that will have isobutaine jet fuel for camping. Basically, only store on island for camping stuff besides Walmart

Excellent place to rent kayaks! They deck you out with all the equipment and extras for no extra! Good prices and great service. They put the boats on the vehicles and show how everything works. Super island service!!

Ive been coming here for decades. The store is a gem, well stocked with merchandise, kayaks, and expertise! We are very fortunate to have such a local store catering to the needs of kayakers operated by a passionate, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced kayak owner. I read another review. Yes, you may wait while John helps other customers, but when its your turn, he really tries his best to get you what you need, not sell you what you don't.
He is honest, caring, a true waterman who always tries his best to help customers. Just let him know what you need and recognize that he is a small shop owner trying to satisfy everyone's needs.

Great place to get your water sports gear and car racks to carry it all.

Rented a two person kayak for the day. The price was fantastic, they were very helpful with documentation and the loading/unloading process and I feel like they gave some very helpful tips about the area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to rent gear for an island adventure!

They were very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Got me exactly what I needed even though my car is 10 years old. Racks come with a lot of parts so it's really nice to go into a shop that can make sure you get dialed in with the right pieces for your car. I wouldn't want to ship something in to the islands only to find it was the wrong bit and have to send it back. Shop local!

Go Bananas service was beyond great. I got a used roof rack and needed to get the fit kit to my car. Even though they didn t have it in stock, they helped me find it online and encouraged me to come back so they can help me with the assembly.

The staff here are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Rented a kayak here, bought a great pair of fins and some reef shoes. Best prices in town for kayak rentals. They don't nickel and dime. Staff is extremely knowledgeable on the best spots for kayaking. GO HERE!!

Helped remove old rack that refused to come off easily for an VERY friendly price and then installed new racks quickly. Nice people.

Almost everything you could get to have fun in the sun

Well stocked but service was far below par. I was in the store for 1 1/2 hours waiting for John to grab me one small piece from the back. From the time he spoke to me and I told him what I needed and she said he would get it, he jumped to 4 different customers completing sales while I sat and waited and waited and waited. Probably won't go back

While they did not have the part to fit our used thule rack to our 2003 Frontier, they went above and beyond to try and help. Very friendly and knowledgable.

I spoke with the owner of this business 4 weeks ago about ordering a rack for my truck. I was told a shipment would arrive in about 3 weeks. I decided to wait even though I could have bought it online at a lower price and it would have arrived sooner. I was told that I would be called when the product came in. After 3 weeks I called and was told the shipment was delayed. I waited another week to call. I was told the shipment came in and they were all sold. I was never called. I asked the owner to give me a small discount do to the poor organization and customer service. The owner told me no and blamed the problem on COVID. I own businesses all over the state. When I make a mistake or my staff makes a mistake we take own up to the failure and try to make it up to the customer. I can t imagine trying to support this business again.

Visit for MSR tools. The female clerk who accepted us was kind. I don't know if the tent is for sale, but the burner was in a glass case at the reception.

We rented a double to take out with my wife and three year old. The owner was very helpful and showed us how to set everything up properly. He even had a small seat that could be added up front for my son. The kayak was actually his personal one that he had used to take his family out on and even had pictures on the wall with them in it.

John and his staff have over 30 years of experience in repair, maintenance, sales and safety that will help newcomers and expert water sports enthusiasts alike enjoy their ocean adventures.
