Firstly you will notice all the 1 star reviews are from aggreved clients who go into detail about many problems. All the 5 star reviews are suspiciously non descript. Then i noticed that it even has as the profile pic for one of the 5 star rviews it has 'GMB Rentals'. So they are writting fake reviews to bolster themselves. Also this is a company that continued construction during the coronavirus lockdown.They did get 'clausado' signs meabing they would have to pay a fine but they obviously thought the profit would outweigh the fine. I can understand small businesses that live week to week doing business during lockdown but not a large company willing to endanger lives for their own profit.

From my own experience I would avoid this company. Do not buy off plan as the pictures are not the end result. They left ceiling wires hanging and then said if i wanted the add on package i could get hanging lights (but why not ask rather than leave the wires for me to fix) also it doesn't even come with basic things like a mosquito net for the balcony sliding doors which again they try to charge you after the build...they are a bunch of crooks. AVOID GMB AT ALL COSTS

Very bad experience. Poorly trained and informed legal staff, as well as informal. The writing was a problem because of GMB and associates. They mismanaged the condo from the start and it wasn't even a year before the management was taken away due to the owners' disagreement.

To date, we have problems in the condominium. Of the units that have not sold, they have not paid maintenance fees since deliveries were made. In addition, common areas of the building were made by private units (of which they also do not pay maintenance) and do not offer the service.

They project you one thing and give you another, all hiding it well in the legal documentation. Now they offer to sell those units to be able to pay that debt with the condominium.

Surely after reading this message they will respond that they do not have me in their database, which is of little interest to me. I am not interested in contacting them.

TIP: Ask for references to owners of other condos where GMB was a developer before buying. Don't rely on just my comment. I know several non-conformists.

Compare the good and bad reviews here on Google. The bad ones are well founded and explained; the good ones, with poor arguments and little objective of what they evaluate.

GMB post sales service is horrible! Bought a condo in Playa, the delivery date is late by 9 months and GMB totally ignores me. They pretend having nothing to do with it. Be aware! #GMB #TheBestMasterBroker #RivieraMaia

It is the WORST Of the WORST. I trusted my money to them- the made me get a loan approval and they never had the documents to submit them to the bank. They are based on lies and tricks. The personnel is extremely unprofessional and laught about you and your frustration with their inefficiency. POST SALES is a joke! The manager of post sales made me buy a flight ticket for me and my family coming from abroad to receive the unit and they never gave me a notice - they were not able to give me the unit. I knew it when I get there!!! Right now - just hire a lawyer to se what up! STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Trust me, be careful especially if you are not from Mexico.

There are better projects offered in Playa del Carmen by other brookers.

These guys are thieves. Their properties are full of construction defects and totally over priced. Stay far away.

Buy an apartment with GMB in Aldea Zama, Tulum. The developer turned in the department with clear construction issues and was not responsible. GMB did not intercede or take responsibility, in fact they themselves declare that they are not responsible for what they sell. Be very careful doing business with this developer-representing broker without proper due diligence.
