Went to the cinema, a bit different but worth a visit.

Good Experience - Cinema. The male assistant helped my father and I as we are disabled- he was wonderful.

Went Cinema, lovely layout of clusters of chairs and tables to enjoy drinks (and potentially snacks) from adjacent cafe bar. Large screen, we however found sound difficult, but didn't know if particular movie, or sound system. Good to look round art exhibition afterwards.

Very nice place to visit for a film nice cafe as well

We saw Stephen K Amos. He is fantastic but his jokes about the venue being sub par were spot on.

Easy to find, close to bus and train routes too. Very basic seating in the theatre but comfortable.

What a hidden gem of a place ! Will definitely be back as you have a great programme.

Probably my favourite place in the county of Gloucestershire!

There is also a large performance hall at the end of the building as well as workshop spaces up above that. A highly recommended arts venue, right in the city centre!
Coupled with friendly, accommodating staff, in an accessible building, makes this a treasure not to be missed, although it is perhaps , often overlooked, since the building doesn't appear to be much from the outside. And in true Gloucester style. it is very unpretentious, especially considering it's status as the county's number 1 gig venue. Music is also very eclectic ranging from folk to pop, via reggae, ska, and dub, also check out the comedy nights and theatrical performances.

Went to Pinnocio.
Expected it to be more pantomime fairytale.
Thought it was poor.
Not good value for what we paid.

Great venue! All the staff are really friendly. Supporting independent artists.

Went to a show in the main hall. A little colder than some would like, but not a bad venu for comedy.

Spot on . Great venue . Good staff . Yesterday is one the greatest feel good films for a long time . Better than the quays cinema.

First time there. Thought it was brilliant. Its a shame that the bar was cash only, the floor was super sticky and bouncy but it was a great night with Duke.

Great venue for medium sized music events. Also very good new more intimate event called limelight sessions. I went to the first one recently where I saw two good acts plus the excellent Chloe Foy.

Cinema great. Seats comfortable. Very few "ads" and very good price. Will go again

I love the range of shows and films on offer. I especially love that you don t charge for collecting tickets or for having e-tickets sent. That is a wonderful thing :)

Nice if basic venue. Nice cakes and staff in cafe.

The only place in Gloucester to go and learn about Islam on Monday evenings at 7.30pm. Very welcoming and warm atmosphere. Plus free leaflets to takeaway.

Unraveling Wilburys concert, superb. They deserve a larger audience

The location is in the centre of the city centre and easily accessible from several city centre car parks. On entry the staff are very friendly and help you get where you need to without any fuss. A bar is available with pragmatically priced refreshments. The show was excellent and had a real spirit of energy. There is only one downside, if you have a young child, walking home in the evening after a show can be daunting as the Friday/Saturday night revelers are out in force, I was lucky that there was a heavy a police presence on the particular night I visited the Guildhall. All in all an excellent venue, great shows, well priced and excellent facilities. A must visit for all who reside in Gloucestershire!

Saw the Livewire AC/DC act here. Packed to the rafters with no air conditioning during a heatwave.

I like this venue. It is small and you feel you can get close to the performers. There's a nice cinema too. Very small and informal. With separate seats and some small tables. Next to the cafe bar. All very friendly and relaxed. In the middle of Gloucester with its own car park access on the roof of the multi storey car park.

Friendly staff, good venue, drinks are a bit pricey.

Great venue for music and cinema, with free parking on evening.

Community spirited venue with very friendly and helpful staff. Great knitting group every other Tuesday evening in the cafe.

Lovely staff with good cafe serving selection of teas beers and wine etc. community cinema shows some great alternative films. Sat morn u can enjoy films with coffee n cake. Great bands on at weekends but mainly tribute acts if that's your thing. Meeting rooms for hire.

Watched a great comedy routine here. It's an intimate venue so feel part of the action. The cinema here also gas the same feel.

Gloucester Guildhall is an historic building in need of a large injection of cash as it is rather shabby inside. I had lived in Gloucester for two years before I knew that it existed. I knew that films were advertised next to a doorway but More

Medium sized hall for gigs, concerts etc with bar stocked with Gloucester Brewery ale. Enjoyed friendly atmosphere of Chameleons Vox concert.

Great night but long queues at the bar and very hot/no air conditioning

Cinema is great value for money, my Mum really enjoyed Dunkirk here with a glass of wine

Great night watching comedy. Easy to park at, longish queue for the bar but moved quickly and reasonably priced too. Friendly staff worked really hard to help everyone.

The Guild hall really is a great and versatile venue.

I have been to gigs, class, seminars and even a wedding at the guild hall and they were all really good.

The staff are helpful and friendly.

I would recommend getting in touch with them what ever the event you are planning!

Nice place for live music need to sort out the bar arrangements massive que only 2 bar staff for a standing room only concert.

Went to the Music Lab, open mic music night. Been going for 20 years, but I had only just heard of it. Really mixed bunch, but some excellent acts in there. I must look in on other things at the Guildhall now!
