Quite pleased with the engine works done by Global Engines on my Jaguar F-Type supercharged. Kept me updated throughout the process with photos and videos and even Facetimed me when the engine was being taken out. Really pleasant staff with quite professional interpersonal skills.

Have had 3 different engines done for our Range Rovers from Global Engines in the last 6 years. Always had an excellent experience with them. Never any issues, super-competitive pricing and tremendous customer service.

Bought Reconditioned Range Rover Sport 3.0 Engine

After the engine for my Range Rover sport finally failed(after giving me so many problems). I decided to get a new engine for it. After some online research I found Global engines, they had some good reviews and offered me a good price for a reconditioned engine. I ordered the engine from them although it was a day late than the promised delivery date however, it is as good as new, my mechanics who did the fitting was satisfied and I am also happy with the performance, three months now and not a single problem.
I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants to buy an engine.

My baby bmw x6 was smoking a lot i found this company "Global Engines & Gearboxes " online gave a call in to speak with the staff and get an idea of how they work etc. Spoke to a lad Adam , very friendly chap explained to Me how they work, from the issues i was having with the vehicle adam told me that the common issue on these vehicles is they lose compression , the rings go weak. Long story short i booked the vehicle in with adam who within 3 days of my vehicle arriving gave me
A call to come down to the garage and see the old engine i was local so thought how nice of him :) , so i popped down to the garage to view the progress and as exactly as adam had said to me they had the engine stripped down and i could see clearly the difference , he gshowed me the engine that was going into my vehicle he even showed me the old filter on my engine which was covered in sludge due to the poor oil i was using , he recommended that i have a fresh oil + filter service every 4000-5000 miles which keeps it nice and fresh , i was waiting till i hit 5k miles to leave this feedback and i can say the car is running an absolute dream i am more than happy with the work that you guys at global have done for me.

We contacted Global Engines and Gearboxes and received a very fair quote to rebuild the engine on our Ford Transit. They arranged collection of our vehicle and kept us informed of progress throughout the whole rebuild process.

There is one pregnant lady in reception who is very rude and lack of skills. She shouts on the customers and sometimes hangs up the phone when you don't understand what she said it happened to me now three times and I decided to stop coming in your garage.

They fixed my Jag XF (2.7 TDI V6 the absolute beast) with overheated engine at the same time repairing other minor faults, can't be happier with the car back on the road feeling as BRAND SPANKING NEW. Paid less than half of what I got quoted at Jag dealerships. And what they quoted at dealerships would have got me another one of them Jags XF, so it was absolutely pointless, quoting me the ridiculous near 5 digit price. The scamming little jammy dodgers. Whereas guys here genuinely know their stuff and will do repairs and rebuilds that other places would simply never manage to do, get various parts, fix things that seem unfixable, absolute lads. Not to meniton I could actually see my car being worked on (arrived for it early), my old engine out, told exactly what's wrong and what's right. Will recommend to anyone like mad. Life savers. Global Engines is the best garage in town for all engine works. My VW Touareg V6 needed a reconditioned engine. It was previously sent to a garage in
outside London.i have already paid deposit My car was there for three months. They kept telling me stories. Then one day when I called to see if the car was ready they told me a dog has bitten the person working on my car and nothing has been done. I was so upset after 4 months with no car.
I manage to get held of Global Engines through a friend. .I called and Gloal engines arranged and pick up my car from outside London they promised my car will be ready within 10 days and to my surprise my car was back on road as they promised. The price of building a reconditioned engine was also reasonable. I will recommend Globall Engines for all engine works. I am so happy now with my car.

great customer service, had a question and the garage called me right away

I had a BMW 730 diesel with a blown engine. I called Global Engines for a price for a replacement engine and can only say the service was exceptional. The guy I spoke to originally arranged to have my car collected from my home and once the engine had been fitted even offered to bring it back to me, although I chose to collect it myself. This was two months ago, which I think is a fair test of their work, and I can only say everything is great. Thank you.

My 2011 range rover sport engine seized, after a oil pump failure. it was towed away that day to a local land rover dealer. After consultation with me, a new engine was required. Price they quoted was beyond my means. I made contact that day with global engines spoke to tony, told me a price, I agreed had the car picked up that day, 4 days later done, engine fitted. iv had the car a week drives like a dream. thanks to global engines & Gearboxes

Recently had my Porsche Boxster 2.7 engine reconditioned by Global engines and gearboxes. The final result is absolutely first class. They took me through the workshop and I witnessed the stages the engine went through from being in bits to getting rebuilt!! . Visited last week and got oil and filter changed after having done 1500 miles. Engine going like new!! Would definitely recommend this Company's expertise and craftsmanship! Took their time but final result was worth it!!

Recently I panicked as my BMW X6 decided to blow it's engine. I didn't know what to do. I was distraught and didn't know where to turn and more importantly who to trust. I researched on the internet and I found Global Engines and Gearboxes to be very competitive with the price. I rang and everything was explained and a quote given. Within a day they organised for my car to be picked up. Within their time frame a reconditioned engine was fitted, Now Everything is run very professional and the customer care is excellent. The thing kept going into limp mode and cost me loads of money as i kept having to go to my local garage to have the thing seen to. I complained and threatened to go to trading standards because they insited the problems were not down to them, in the end i had a report done at MORE expense which highlighted trapped wiring looms, oil leaks and reused gaskets sealed with sealant (which is obviously not proper), eventually they agreed- reluctantly- to have the car back to sort out all the problems. I wish i could say they did but, when i picked it up, the engine managment light was straight on and then before we got home more warning lights etc. etc.
To be honest I didn't even want them to touch it again after the report. I had NONE of these problems EVER before they had worked on my car. I felt they had placed me and my family in danger with the shoddy work, but I had to give them a chance, by law, in order to go to the next level of complaint with trading standards.
I never made it to the next level as the stress and expense was too much, all the while i never had an offer of any reimbursment and I eventually traded it in before seeing this process through as i depend on my car 100% for work and couldn't afford to have it sitting around for evidence purposes whilst i took them to court. I dearly wish i had the time and money to devote to holding them to account for what i believe was awful workmanship.

Took my scirocco 2.0tsi (58) in for a replacement engine. Paid more than expected on collection as other problems were recognised. The guys noticed my clutch was on it's way out and replaced. Clutch was showing signs of failing prior to the timing chain breaking(so well happy they managed to do this) water pump was leaking (again grateful this was addressed. Shortly after getting my car back I noticed a few things I wasnt too happy with and contacted them. They were more than happy to take my car in and sort these. With my experience I would recommend taking your car to get repaired here. Car is currently with them now and I will follow up this review

My RANGE ROVER 3.0 DIESEL 2013 had its Crankshaft snapped. Even though I got my car always serviced at RANGE ROVER, I have not been warned and only found out about issues with a 3L engine after the event.



I had it for one week now and it works a treat.

I have spent 1400Pounds at the Global to put Reconditioned Engine to my BMW . After 1000 miles driving Engine just DIED. Unfortunately my car has brake down in Poland. So i have leave the car in Profesional Engine Garage for diagnosis. What i got??

The opinion about the car BMW P282 MLC.

As a result of the organoleptic inspection, the following incorrectness were found:
* The lack of compression in cylinders 1, 2 and 3
* The lack of oilcoused by the carbon , wich I led to the obstruction of the oil system witch resulted in the seizure of lifters.

The above mentioned results suggest that there wos any or a clumsy involvment in fixing of the car engine.

There is guy work there his name toni he is only a cleaner they said he is manger they are a lier really ripoff my case at the moment with trading standards if they don t do anything for me i will be after them forever to get my money back they mess up with wrong person! Cowboys

Paid for a reconditioned engine
12miles down the road coolant light came on, had to fill it up.

Drove it home and did an oil and filter change the oil should ve been clean and clear it was black and had original filter still in that s when we noticed the engine hadn t been touched the bolts weren t touched the engine was dirty all they did was replace the crank (probably not even a new one)
Within the 100miles of driving home the rear crank seal was leaking.

I have a Range Rover 3.0 2014 and the engine seized without any warning I phoned around a few place to no avail so I went on the google site and it directed me to Global Engines in Barking I spoke to the sales team and they gave me assurance that they could handle the job and they were true to there word my car runs like a dream better then when I bought it with the assurance of zero miles and a 6 months no quable warranty. Thank you Global Engine team.

I would like to say thank you to all at Global engines after my 2008 Range Rover decided it had had enough and wanted a new engine while driving along the A13 in east London after a quick search i found Global after a phone call my car was recovered and taken to there workshop i was told it would be between 7 to 10 days to fit a new engine 6 days later i got a call to say my car was ready when i got there and after a test drive the car was perfect it runs far better now than it ever has staff were friendly and very polite all in all i dont think i could of found a better place to work on my car Many Thanks

This company is one of the best companies to fix your cars. when my VOGUE broke down, i had told them what had happened and they had told me that they would get my car fixed in a few days. After a few days, i had come back to see what they had done and they had done an amazing job to my car and had no problems after that.

I GOT MY ENGINE REPLACED WITH THESE GUYS THINKING THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES CLOSE TO ME WHO CAN DO THE JOB, THEY FITTED THE ENGINE ORIGHT, BUT AFTER 2 WEEKS I GET ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT, I GET A BAD BURNING OIL SMELL AND COOLANT LEVEL KEEPS DROPPING - I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THESE GUYS BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE WORK THEY DID WAS A RUSHED JOB RATHER THAN MAKING SURE THEY CHECKED EVERY INSTALLATION WAS TESTED - THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. NOW AFTER COUNTLESS PROBLEMS WITH MY ENGINE I DECIDED TO TAKE CARE TO MY LOCAL GARAGE WHO HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB IN FIXING THE ISSUES THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE EXISTED IN THE FIRST PLACE. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL

For an update on the status of a vehicle, information is also fed directly to the customers on regular basis".

Ok so I can honestly say that is all lies. I contacted them and asked how long turnaround for a replacement engine. "Within a week" was the reply. A week later I called to find out the progress (yes I called, not them!), only to be told "its being worked on now. Itll be end of next week as awaiting injectors to turn up". Ok so I can order recon injectors off ebay and have them delivered within 2 days, but anyway, end of the 2nd week I call again (yep, me again!), only to be told "its still being worked on, theres been some staff off sick". Ok, so I know for a fact an engine can be changed in a day, and here we are, 2 weeks at a 'professional' 'engine specialist'!! I get told itll be ready wednesday, and Ill be called on tuesday. Guess what? I called on wednesday, and the car hadnt even been looked at!! 3 weeks wasted. So i got the car recovered taken to Auto Engines just down the road in Rainham. No website but slightly cheaper and not full of crap!!
AVOID!

Had my BMW 5 series sorted by these guys.
They also keep to their word, regards their warranty - unlike other garages!
Couldn t recommend them more!
