Great park
Lots of space.
Close to town centre
Especially good when there are free events on.
Has a few historical monuments like the Cleopatra's needle. And the fountain.
Close to people palace and the winter gardens which are also a must visit.
Also you're able to have a walk along the river Clyde at perhaps it's most scenic part.
Glasgow green is a local icon in the hearts of Glaswegians

Lovely place to go a walk/jog or run if you must . Park is decent too and the scenery is beautiful.

A must visit beautiful place , Glasgow green is a huge and oldest park in Glasgow. It s situated in east end of Glasgow and north bank of river Clyde. The landscape of this green park is actually eye warming. It has a Nelson monument. St. Andrews suspension bridge, Glasgow humane society lifeboat station and pontoon, people palace, mclennan arch and the doulton fountain (one of the world s largest terracotta ). This is a very old park in Glasgow. Easy to reach from city centre by walk , bus or bike. I love this place as this is a very huge park to take sunbath or picnic.
There is lot of different sports court here.
Public ground good for large events and relaxation.
Open public park on the edge of the Clyde with children's play parks and great flat walkways for cyclists also

Got beat with a few goals. Still, a managed a goal wae the old right peg. In off the post. Belter.
It's a nice garden and park. Has something to do for all age groups. Kids play park, lots of greenery, place to cycle, and well maintained.
A great open space, clean and when the weather's nice a good place for families
This is rightly named the people's palace and everything about it is about the people who have lived in Glasgow their story through time. Really interesting and a lovely place to take a walkabout too.
Lovely place to wander. Loved the People's Palace, lots of Glaswegian history there. Nice coffee in the cafe. Lovely architectural fountain near the Palace
Great place to chill, run or relax. There are two playgrounds for kids. Toilets are located in People's Palace.
Great fire work show. Well done glasgow staff for this event
A great place to walk, clean and pleasant area in the heart of the city beside the River Clyde.
Great for walking dogs, picnics or just to let the kids play in the park! Its also has The Peoples Palace nearby. Behind the park is a kiddie car bit and it seems really fun, some people just ride their bikes through it because its like a bike course. Great fun.
Well maintained park. Nice and clean. Good to have a stroll or play some games with friends
I love Glasgow Green! Simple peace amongst the wonderful chaos of the city.
Perfect place for dog walks. Enjoyed by many locals for many years.
It's a beautiful place with loads to do. The Worlds were on when I was there, its only two minutes from the Barras aswell.
A huge and beautiful green space in the heart of Glasgow, full of suggestions.
One of the loveliest parks in Glasgow! People s Palace is a nice museum to visit if passing by
Great park plenty of stuff for my daughter to play on
Nice peaceful ideal for sightseerers also good for nice strolls or if u prefer a good run
Beautiful park. Unfortunately Obama doesn't like bagpipes. Wrong day to visit.
Always nice for walk and a visit to the People's Palace
Big complicated old fashioned victoriana style park to walk in and enjoy. But no public loos!
Wide range area with good views Make sure to bring time. The (limestone?) fountain is very impressive.
Large park situated in Glasgow that is free for public use. It has the added attraction of the people's palace which is also free entry and great for a visit if in the area. Also just outside the palace is the newly refurbished Doulton fountain which is lovely to see.
There are a few play areas for the kids to enjoy if the weather is nice but I would add that at night the lighting is very poor.
Cycling and dog walking are also popular here as well.
Beautiful park one of the largest that I personally visited, very well kept neat and clean. Very interesting the People Palace in the park.
Could be so much more if Glasgow Council actually invested in its people.
Wonderful park that is owned by the people of Glasgow. Originally gifted so that the residents of the inner city has space to enjoy. Used to be used as a giant drying green for washing too. Check out pictures from the start of last century. Also home to Glasgow's own Nelson's column.
Stadium dedicated to hockey
Wonderful
