Very rich!! Good taste, good presentation and good service. However, it is a huge sadness that the Giordanos in Chicago are ... Completely empty !!! Yes, there is fear, but how will the economy be activated? I remove two stars because security measures are needed. There is no sanitizing mat, gel or temperature take.

Classic Chicago deep pan pizzas done absolutely right. Thick, deep pan, definitely more like a pie, stuffed with cheese. I'd almost call it a cheese pie. The small is easily enough for two. They warn you as you enter, these proper pizza pies take about 30-40 minutes to cook.

We arrived during the lunch rush and were seated quickly. The waiter attended to us carefully despite there being many people in his section. He thoughtfully gave us approximate times for the kitchen to prepare different dishes so we knew what to expect. He was very helpful, even dishing out the pizza when my hands and my husband's were full. The service was excellent and we would absolutely go back.

The pizza is among my favorites, but the wait to get in to the place can be very long, over an hour in most cases. If you're willing to wait, the pizza will cost you but it's extremely heavy so it goes a long way. I still enjoy going, despite the wait.

Considering everything... Amazing experience. We had a homeless man solicit us within the restaurant (not the establishments fault) which was a minus, but the food and service absolutely made up for that.

We had the bacon chicken pizza which was absolutely amazing. The service was swift and the drinks were generous.

All in all, a great Chicago pizza experience.

From out-of-town, and got a few different suggestions for best pizza to get in Chicago if you only have 1 day to visit, and was glad I picked Giordano's. Had a great pizza and beer for lunch, and couldn't have been happier.

I guess I went to the wrong location. I was in Chicago on a business trip and was given the evening to eat and do whatever I wanted to. I took the blueline to the Willis tower and after waiting in line and spending two hours there to be in the skydeck I was famished. Myself and several others on the trip went with me as it was 10pm and nothing else appeared to be open on a Saturday.

We ventured in only to be scoffed at by the waiter when the majority of us asked for water to drink and also had questions like if they offered a single slice- which they don't and you have to pay a minimum of 15$ for a pizza.

The waiter was not attentive to us at all. Dropped off our water and disappeared for a good 10 to 15 minutes and then came back and informed us it was 45 minutes for the pizzas to be finished if we wanted their famous stuffed pizza and 25 minutes for the regular.

The others I was with got pizza I settled on a chicken Caesar salad only for it to be brought to me with no chicken. When he did bring it to me the chicken was ice cold. I was not even happy paying 9$ because he did not charge me for the chicken.

It wasn't until I got my 2nd cup of water at the very end and I asked if I could have one of the lemons he brought from coworkers that I noticed the soufle cup he brought and had put the lemons in had ranch dressing in it. This was disgusting.

Let's just say I should have ordered it online and had it shipped to PA bc the service would have been better and possibly quicker. Only bc someone next to us offered me a slice of stuffed because they weren't going to eat it and their saving grace and their pizza was good are they getting 2 stars.

This is a good place to try if you're looking for a franchise chain that serves up deep dish pizza, simply because they have so many restaurants for access. I find that the deep dish is good when it's warm, but doesn't taste good as you keep eating since it gets cold. But overall this is average.

Great service! It is fast paced and the servers move hurriedly. It's a friendly atmosphere and most individuals smile at you. I tried the Chicago Classic and it was good. I think the reason it was just good was because the veggies were water based, so the pizza was sorta soggy. Also, it needed more seasoning. Only eat the pizza, that's their specialty. Stay away from anything else. Also, the garlic bread was HARD. My brother tried the Meat and more Meat and it was AMAZING!!!! The flavors were potent and my tastebuds were thankful. All in all I'll definitely come back the next time I'm visiting Chicago.

A must try when in the city if not from here. The staff shoots straight and works hard to take care of you. It's easy to over order here, so take in consideration the number of people it says each pie serves. Happy deep dish!

This location is the one by the Sears Tower. If you are visiting and you find yourself in the area this is the surest bet for Chicago style pizza. It is not the best Giordano's, I prefer the one on rush, but it is the best deep dish in this part of town.

Best deep dish pizza I've ever eaten! Small pepperoni mushroom filled two people up. Glad we didn't settle for something closer to the hotel. Too the blue line and walked two blocks or so. 45 minutes but worth the wait!

The food was good, but the service was beyond horrible. When they seat us, it took them about 20 minutes to greet us and ask for drinks. The waitress was not nice. She had a nasty attitude from the beginning. She NEVER came and ask for refills and we were there for about 2 hours. She never gave us new plates and when we ask for refills and new plates(since we had order appetizers) she rolled her eyes and handed out the plates one by one as if we were asking for too much. She didn't even give everyone a new plate. It was to her opinion whether we deserve one. The pizza came out not hot but slightly warm as if it was sitting back there for 10 minutes or so. Our waitress was completely unacceptable and continue to give us unacceptable looks and was not helpful at all. We had to go to a bus boy and ask for things. Will never ever recommend this location unless they give their staff a lesson about customer service.

After having many people tell me we had to go to Giordano's while we were in Chicago, we made it our first place to go. The staff and service was amazing and the deep dish pizza...oh my goodness...the BEST PIZZA EVER!

Love! Love! Love this location in downtown Chicago. My wife and I made a trip to see the Broadway Musical Hamilton at the CIBC theatre and stopped here for dinners. Not only was our server top-notch, but also the deep dish pizza was mouth watering. Definitely will go back again!

Honestly was a horrible experience. Good came out in a miss order. Had to remind or server of what foods we really ordered then. When food final came out my lasagna was beyond burnt. Never returning to this location.

This is a chicago style deep dish pizza joint. Well known for its pizza and food in Chicago. It serves both filling and good tasting food at a very decent price. The food service is good and friendly just as they say it is the city of brotherly love. The food portions is generously share-able. The vibe is a nice family sit in style type. The building is a brick and mortar style.

This Place is FABULOUS! I'm generally not a thick pizza kind of person, but when In Chicago, I think it's a Must! The Meat Eaters is always my go to with an add on of Jalapenos... can't go wrong and I don't go to chicago without making sure i have time for some Giordano's!

Awesome service and a true Chicago classic must have. Anyone who is looking for a genuine Chicago deep dish pizza should dine here. This is not a fast place to eat so plan at least an hour and a half of time. Your pizza takes 45 minutes to bake. Do not misunderstand, this time is for conversation, drink, spending time with family and friends. Enjoy the pull!
