Confusing marketing. Martinis on the sign, but calls itself a "southern table." Martinis aren't exactly a southern drink, but the menu here isn't either. Pasta and steaks and a few Cajun inspired choices. Good food, just a bit of an identity crisis.

We had 2 amazing dinners; their signature shrimp and grits along with the crab cake dinner. We also enjoyed a wedge salad with blue cheese dressing. Everything was outstanding! The server, Kylie, was wonderful! Attentive but not intrusive. We ll be back!

Klnice decor but the food was awful! I'd come back for coffee or just to sit but never to eat. Everything was over spiced and seasoned. Too many flavors. The "salad" was simply a head of lettuce cut in half. Not impressed.

Very nice relaxing setting, friendly wait staff. Not a huge menu but definitely has something for everyone. It is definitely a more upscale restaurant based on food quality, price and atmosphere but the dress is still casual. Food is sourced locally except for sea food but that is shipped in daily for optimal flavor and freshness. Would recommend for special occasions or a nice lunch. The alcoholic beverages are also top notch too with some coming from local distilleries

I go there a couple of times a week. If you haven't been in a while try it again. Early on the service left something to be desired. But they have made a fantastic turn around. Now I can recommend.

Gigi's bar was a weekly stop until new bar manager came on board. Attentiveness, friendliness, and atmosphere have declined since. Gigi's has lost a minimal $150.00 per week from us to another bar. We're sad to lose Gigi's, but just can't handle a guy watching tv while we have empty glasses...

Warm ambiance, farm to table feel, clean antique white painted wood walls, bright room with an at-home seating experience. Food was classy but simple. Service was pleasant and professional. Bill was $80 for two. I'd visit again for sure.

My wife and I have gone here twice now and we really enjoyed it both times. The servers are very friendly and we love the cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes as a starter, it was our favorite! My wife got the ribeye and it was cooked very nicely and seasoned well and definitely try the roasted red potatoes with it! My mahi mahi tacos and fries were also pretty good.

Missing on a lot of levels. Served steak and no steak sauce in the establishment. Bread was best part of dinner. Meal was very salty. Hospitality great at the welcome desk. Service at table underwhelming and that's a compliment. Decor and theme was pleasant. Unfortunately you cannot screen the cooks. Grease should probably be changed more often. Not even an average drinker, but drink was seriously WATERED DOWN! Overall 2 out of 5 stars.

We were there last night; we were 6 people and none of us was satisfied! The food was absolutely horrible. Their pasta is like an instant mac & cheese box and there was a fly in my drink!! I don t recommend this place to anyone. They don t care about customers satisfaction.

Very swanky. Live music. The bar tender knows what hea doing. He can make any drink you want the right way. Ultimately I would recommend to anyone looking for a place with a hipster vibe. Also there food is amazing

Seriously terrible service. Had to wait in the nearly-empty bar over 20 minutes to get our drink order taken. Waitstaff and bartenders standing around, and no service offered, even after begging the hostess to get a waiter to come over. Truly weird. Drinks were tasty when they came, tho!

One of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. The service was top notch. The food was out of this world. I loved the beautiful decor, it was such an oddly chasing mix of beach house and hunting cabin. The chairs were so comfortable, it was nice to sit in a soft chair instead of the restaurant standard. Our food arrived faster then we expected and was hot and fresh. I recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

Came in on Sunday at noon. The service was very slow, and I m patient. For example, we sat for several minutes at the table, then asked if I wanted coffee (yes) then 15 min later I got coffee. I looked like the servers were working hard but it wasn t going well.

We waited 20 min at least for biscuits to start our meal then another 20-30 min for food.

Three of us ordered eggs Benedict, 2 of our party got well over cooked eggs the plates were served with fries (odd for eggs bene) that were soggy and cold.

I seldom take time to write a bad review. I would rather pat a place in the back. But today s wasn t good and I hope it was an off day or some tough reviews lead to improvements.

Wow! I've dined at many upscale restaurants, including some in Charleston, Philly, DC, Harrisburg. The food here was spectacular. Best I'very had in State College. I had the fried green tomato taco. Delish, creative, well-presented . Portions and prices are reasonable. Service was spot-on, ambience is special. What a gem.

We were seated at a table and ignored for close to ten minutes. Some girl brought us our water and said that our server would be right with us. Sad to say that our server never tended to us. You guessed it; we walked out.

Seth, the bartender is amazing! Wonderful personality, knowledgeable server, and a fantastic mixologist! He makes my fiancee and I feel welcome and dutifully cared for every time! It has become one of our favorite date night retreats.

VERY GOOD FOOD!!!! Have been surprised everytime we have visited, and I mean in the best possible way! They have a great chef, top one or 2 in the area at least! Just do be aware that the price of their food does reflect the quality, but in a fair way, definitely did not feel ripped off with any dish!

I've had unpleasant experiences here before (usually with dinner) but my boyfriend and I went for brunch recently and the food was A+. My mouth is watering just looking at what I ordered! I included the description for our menu items. My boyfriend got the Steak and Eggs, and the steak was cooked how he ordered it. He also got the Bacon and Eggs Bloody - comes with Caramelized Cajun Bacon and one of their Cajun Deviled Eggs (so good). He's picky about Bloody Mary's and really liked this one. For $11 and everything that you get with it, not bad at all. I ordered the Low Country Strudel and didn't really know what to expect, but omg.. best thing I've had in awhile. The sausage gravy is to die for, and the beer cheese is some of the best I've ever had. Service here has never been spectacular and I've just kind of accepted that. 5 stars because the food was so good.

The waitress, who s name I ve forgotten, was very professional. I was there with my parents celebrating their wedding anniversary and the food was excellent and the drinks were nice and strong. Always pleasantly pleased by the service.

It's a beautiful restaurant with good food, great cocktails and beer selection, and an overall phenomenal atmosphere, so, in that sense, it's one of the better upper-level restaurants in town. However, the stuff is absurdly expensive ($20 for a small plate of vegetarian pasta? Come on. $15, tops). It's not like I'm unwilling to pay that money for food, but it wasn't exactly on that level of good. The staff is also somewhat inattentive and unconsciously judgy if they don't think you look like their typical customer.

We got sat right away even without a reservation, the bar area is so light and airy you can almost forget you are in State College. The food was excellent, it honestly reminded me of the brunches I had while in Louisiana. I had the Fried Green Tomato Benedict with a side of sweet potato hash. The fried green tomatoes were crispy, the pimento had a nice hint of spice and I really enjoyed the cilantro lime sauce. My eggs were perfectly poached and the hash also had some good crispy bits.

The service is wonderful and the food is exceptional. A nice selection of excellent fresh food. One of the best places to eat in State College . You can tell that the seafood is fresh . You should make reservations it can get busy on weekends and special events .

I've visited twice and had very enjoyable dinners. The cuisine is sort of nouvelle Southern; the shrimp and grits were particularly good. Don't be put off by the sign which makes it look like a sleazy martini bar attached to a motel. It's a quite elegant little restaurant.

Went there for Valentine s Day with my wife. I got the specialty burger and she the jambalaya. In short the burger was good-cooked to the degree I wanted and good quality meat- the jambalaya however was not. The chicken was dry, the jambalaya itself was not well seasoned, and the rice seemed like instant rice with seasoning added. Overall the atmosphere/ambiance was pleasant but I would not recommend because, for want you get, the meals are WAY overpriced. For reference the burger was $19, Jambalaya $23, and a 14oz craft beer 6. Honesty I ve had the same meal elsewhere, albeit not in State College, that was better tasting and at least half the price if not more.

Very nice...appreciative that they take reservations. All of our dinners were nicely prepared with many other interesting offerings that I look forward to trying. Great variety of cocktails!
