Something exceptional.

Something exceptional.
There are no right words to describe a similar work.
It must be visited at all costs in order to understand the power of what the sculptor expresses.

Great. A lost place and very original. The guide very very very nice. Speak very good French. Do not expect to touch the stones: it is our guide who takes care of it. Count 1 hour on the spot. Our kids (15 to 10 years old loved it)

Fantastic! An enchanted place where you can admire the sculptures of the great artist Sciola. Be guided to the discovery of sound stones, the difference in sound produced by different materials (basalt, granite, etc.). The guided tour also allows you to learn about the life of the recently deceased artist.

An interesting place, one of the few where they speak English. But they are not even allowed to touch the stones with their hands, but simply to look at them is not so interesting, especially to the children. Edible oranges.

On a day with little sun I went to this particular place 20 km from Cagliari.
In the sound garden of Pinuccio Sciola you will experience the living stone, engraved to create particular music.

Wonderful, magical place ... Hearing the stones play is a bit like hearing the earth speak. Only a special person could manage to do such magic. It is like a gift to the visitor ... I visited it with the children: the largest (the other is too small to grasp) was enchanted! Thanks, of course, also to Maria who with simple anecdotes and her great availability made everything more within reach of a child. A beautiful experience that I recommend to everyone!

The magic of stones is associated with the human, ...

The magic of stones is associated with the human, inspired by the communication of Mary, the daughter of the artist, of whom a tourist said: you are surely the most beautiful work of your father.
The charm of Maria, however, consists in the sure competence with which she presents her father's work in the delicacy with which he caresses the stone with stone, in the wisdom with which he speaks of sculptures.
Just a few steps in the stone garden. to enter the enchantment and feel part of a mystery. The mystery is the life that Sciolla sensed and evoked in the stones: delicate waves and measured carvings and the music that is released like the liberated genius of the aladino lamp. It is the authentic art in front of which the human being surrenders and surrenders.

A fundamental step in the visit of Sardinia, an unmissable unicum. An open-air museum dedicated to the sculptural works of one of the greatest artists that Sardinia can boast: Pinuccio Sciola. The stones are worked in such a way as to be able to produce a real music if you caress it. The very good guides of the site will show you with mastery, as well as the author's story, also the way in which these sculptures "play", transporting you in a dream world, in a dreamlike dimension

An open-air museum unique in the world absolutely to visit where there are more than 300 stone sculptures similar to menhir, many of which resonate when touched with the hands or with small stones. The sound properties of the sculptures are achieved by applying parallel and perpendicular incisions made by Pinuccio Sciola, the sculptor who conceived them, through the use of the diamond saw. These sculptures are capable of generating sounds with different characteristics according to the density of the stone and the type of engraving, sounds that recall wooden instruments, metallic noises and even the human voice. Many of these sound stones have been exhibited all over the world and concerts are organized in which these sculptures are used as real musical instruments.

Sardinia is internationally known for its nuragic bronzes. It should be, dutifully, even for sound stones. Pinuccio Sciola has done something rare, extraordinary, has given voice to what has been dumb for eons. Visiting the soundstone garden was an experience that leaves you stunned, speechless, incredulous. It is a must for tourists visiting Cagliari. The tourism department should advertise not only beaches and village festivals, but also Pinuccio Sciola, a priceless heritage of Sardinia.

Exceptional museum dedicated to the work of an exceptional artist, recently passed away. Unfortunately.

A magical place where the sound stone,
talk and sing ...
... telling us about itself and telling us how an inert material (often not considered or poorly considered), has a life of its own ...

Somehow the sculptures of the great Pinuccio:
- They talk
- They play
- They sing
...to visit !!!!
