I find Giant Tiger has really reinvented themselves in the last decade. The quality of the products has been improved while still keeping prices relatively low. The staff are helpful and most of the stores have been redesigned to be bright and spacious. Kudos to GT!

Giant Tiger prices are probably the best in town. You will items at ridiculously low prices. I found good quality room darkening curtains for $10 each. This by far the best price I have ever seen. Similarly lot of other stuff that is fairly cheap.

By the way, Walkley road store is probably the biggest in Ottawa.

This store is always neat and tidy. Very good grocery selection and the savings you get compared to other stores is really great. Christmas shopping here is amazing the deals on clothes and housewares is unbeatable. Also, the store clerks are always really helpful and friendly. I am now a regular customer!

Great store with wide selection, although impossible to get staff to open the fitting rooms even though I rang the bell 4 times.... so I had to guess what might fit me and leave the rest.

I love this place and can honestly say all employees are so nice. They are eager to help even if you don't ask them , they will ask you. They always smile. Prices are great . So much free parking and wheelchair accessible

Cool place. Products are quite cheap. Collection is not that huge though.

It has a lot of different items than the other Goan Tiger stores.

I visited this GT location recently after not being in for 5-7 years and I must say it has changed drastically. For people who shop there regularly they may have not realized the slow decay but I was extremely shocked at what I was seeing. Firstly they reconfigured the store so it is no longer an open concept which I do not particularly like as you are forced to walk all the way around clothing areas that you may not necessarily be interested in. Secondly, with this new configuration it seems like the store is a lot smaller and holds a lot less product. I felt that before they had a lot more room for shelves and isles which were packed with all sorts of products and more of them. Now it seems that they are focusing more on showcasing fewer items rather than focusing on having more items at better prices. That leads me to my last point which is the prices have gone up. I understand that in 6 or 7 years the prices have gone up overall but GT to me always meant value and now I feel like they are no longer as competitive as before. I feel like they have to charge more to keep the doors open due to the poor design and lack of products they used to have. I wish I had pictures of the store before but they should go back to what they used to be.
