The helpfulness and support of the whole team in Winterthur gives me as a lecturer the opportunity to concentrate fully on optimally supporting 'my' course participants in starting their future careers.
I am very proud to be a part of GET Winterthur and to be able to participate in the script design. I appreciate the very personal atmosphere here and the honest advice for the students as well as the open commitment to ensure the quality of teaching.
I have registered with you for further training (face-to-face teaching) and have already ordered and paid for the teaching material - CHF 650.-School start: October 19, 2020, information that the course was not held due to too few participants was true on September 29, 2020 by email. I was away on vacation (abroad). As long as I was a customer of you, I received your support. But when I had to register at another school, I no longer received any support from you. Since the new school works with its own teaching aids and I was always in the night section, I didn't want to order the teaching aids for the other school again, otherwise CHF 650.- would be wasted, nobody needs duplicate teaching aids from different schools. No support from you and or a quick answer (as the course has already started) although you have already received money for your learning materials CHF 650.-, I was not ready to spend new learning materials for the new school so soon after each other and also didn't want to wait until next year and hope that the course will then take place with you. Since face-to-face teaching was important to me and it was also important to start this year as everything may look different next year because of Covid. Your reaction time is very long and there was no support or accommodation from your side. Too bad. Long emails back and forth but unfortunately without a solution regarding teaching materials, except that you keep using the same text that 90% of your students passed the exam with these teaching materials, which doesn't really help me in the new school with your own teaching materials. Calling and quick assistance and courtesy regarding material would have been desirable.
A very good school with great teachers. Here I was able to experience that learning can also be fun, lecturers who are very good in their subject impart knowledge in a very good way. Fun and humor with donkey bridges that you won't forget. The school management also tries to be there for the students at all times. The lessons were switched to online within 48 hours, it couldn't have been smoother. The exam preparations are very good and prepare you as well as possible for the upcoming one. No matter how it ends for me, I would go to the GET again at any time.

I am pleased to be a lecturer at GET Winterthur. The school offers very good opportunities in small classes to deal with the respective subject areas and to benefit as much as possible. The success rate of the graduates speaks for itself. In addition, there is great support from very friendly staff and an optimal location directly at Winterthur train station. :)

As a lecturer, I prefer to teach at GET in Winterthur and Zug, as it is the real boutique cadre school with a high success rate. In these small classes, we can work on real-life cases, have students present themselves and sometimes take a generous look into the future with all the megatrends, the digital transformation, AI and the new business models. - It's fun to teach and learn to enjoy life!
A very personally managed training institute which takes time for every student! Very practice-oriented lessons with committed lecturers. I can recommend the GET unrestricted!

The GET takes care of you at all times and is always available. The preparation for the exams is optimal, and there is also explicit training for the oral exams, which is sometimes the case at other schools. does not take place at all.
The lecturers bring the material across very well, with strong practical relevance and examples. Thanks to the small classes, questions can be asked at any time and the lessons can be designed individually.
In the Corona situation in particular, I was happy to have chosen this school. The lessons took place at the same time, simply via video. Thanks for everything and see you soon!
The success rates at the federal exams for marketing and sales experts speak - once more - for themselves resp. for the recipe for success of the GET - a small, tightly organized school that gives us lecturers the necessary framework to make the handpicked and good participants - and rare exceptions confirm the rule - even better. I took the apprenticeship as an FA Sales Specialist here, and was able to successfully take the sticky pilot exam after the new reform.
I attended 100% of the lessons, solved every task and completed the internal semester and final exams with a good result.
So you can succeed, as in almost every school, with ambition, determination and diligence also at the GET.
Denoch, 2 stars are justified in my personal experience, but I had to note serious weaknesses in the service provided. Here's something structured and in detail, which led to my moderate rating:
Organization / Secretariat / Information Flow
Everything is still in butter here. The timetable came relatively late, but still in the frame and was subsequently changed only slightly and the information about it was timely and clean instead of via email. Good accessibility, I could not fault the organization as such. Notabene are the basics and may be demanded in view of the elevated course fee also strictly.
Lecturers / Learning Methods / Lessons
There were huge differences here. The course was supported by 9 lecturers. There were 5 very good to excellent people at work, including some who impressed me deeply and I am grateful to have met such brilliant minds.
Unfortunately, and that does not lick Geiss away, the other 4 were terrible. If I had to create a mind map, the following keywords would appear on the whiteboard:
Chaotic lessons, boring presented, no common thread, more chatter than teaching and z.T. offensive and borderline insulting statements to the students. No go!
Infrastructure / facility
In my opinion, the infrastructure should be urgently invested instead of always being skimmed off. It may be that the technology was state-of-the-art 15 years ago, but time does not stand still. I did the Markomm 3 years ago at the KV Zurich and can compare well, here goes more today. Much more!
The decor looks a bit jumbled, almost every one of the few school rooms has a different furniture. Looks to me second-hand, which is my subjective impression.
Everything is expedient and works for the most part, even if not all lecturers know how to use the technology confidently, but the state of the art is more than exhausted.
It is often too cold in winter, and in the summer pressing hot into the school room, by the situation is an open window but only during the break conceivable, otherwise it is so loud that a reasonable learning is not even think. Air conditioning and heating? All avoidable costs?
My opinion about GET Winterthur:
GET: education for the undemanding
Too bad for the z.T. high-profile lecturers and even more regrettable for the students.
I can warmly recommend GET. Especially in times of Corona, the GET has proven to be a very good choice, because the students were not only well prepared, both personally and personally, but also motivated. I have the HR specialist course with a federal diploma. Certificate selected and can only report good things from the lecturers. Top.
