This is the go to place for fish hobbyist for miles and miles! The fish all seem healthy which is a big deal. The knowledge of the staff is second to none! Love this place!

Very knowledgeable about everything aquatics related. Great selection of livestock. Compared to it's competition they are a little more expensive but the customer service and quality make it worth the additional cost on certain items.

Healthy fish. Great selection...informed and educated staff. They care about their fish and the homes they send them to and will inform customers on proper upkeep and safty of fish. We love browsing the isles and watching the fish get fed. When we start doing an all live tank, We will buy our live plants from them only. Healthy fish are worth the price.

Wow! What a selection of fish! We enjoyed our visit. It was nice that they had a fresh water and salt water side of the store. Something for everyone.

Great quality fish and an outstanding selection. Expect to pay a bit more, but for healthy, quality fish it's worth it.

I came to buy a variety of fish for my 2 Aquariums and the young man helping me was great!
I spent $250 on fish and he was very patient and knowledgeable.

Ridiculous!! 45 minutes to get here, wasted an hour trying to get someone to wait on me, asked 2 different people for help but still, no one waited on me. No one respecting social distancing and noone noticed when I walked out. Dont waste your time. Mail order, Liveaquaria.com

My boyfriend and I went into Gerber's out of curiosity and a desire to see different kinds of fish than your typical freshwater ones at local pet stores. We were amazed at their vast collection of saltwater fish, their coral, etc. I was excited to see a lion fish and a puffer so close up, as well as puffer fish and mantis shrimp. We left with a fascination and desire to start our own saltwater tank, which we're working on now!

I was very impressed by the different types of freshwater fish they had available, they had texas chiclids, apistogrammas, lemon and neon tetras, golden white clouds and cherry barbs and ton's more. Tons of driftwood and rock types available.

The staff was very friendly. They didn't have what I was looking for but offered to order it.

The best store in Dayton when it comes to selection and availability a fish, aquarium plants, and any other Aquatic needs. The new addition to the store is awesome! They carry a great selection of Hardscape, driftwood, special tanks, and their staff is very knowledgeable! The only downside is prices can be a little higher, but I am all about supporting local businesses especially one that has great staff!

Big place but high prices in comparison to other local shops. livestock and dry goods are more expensive all around than even the most high end stores. Used tanks or equipment cost just about what you would pay for it new. The owner has forgotten the importance of loyal frequent customers.

Honestly, being around so many fish made me super excited. While they had great deals on tanks and things, some of the fish is a little expensive. You could reach up a big check fast, however the convenience of everything in one place is awesome. And seahorses!!

I visited yesterday for the first time. I was impressed by the friendly staff and the giant selection of fish and products they offer. I was a little confused on how they labeled and priced their plants and fish but the staff was there to help me out anytime I had a question. I had a good experience and will definitely return in the future.

Lots of dead fish in aquarium's. Prices are extremely high. Will not stand by their products, good luck with getting a refund or store credit for sick fish bought there.

Visited once, it was a good experience. I don't know much about fish, and I didn't purchase anything, but I think visiting a place like this is important to understand what an exotic fish needs and all the great options out there! They have seahorses; very impressive. Corals too. I think we talked about their favorites and their seahorses, they seem like some good people who care about their craft.

I was impressed with all the different types of fish and fish tanks and more that Gerber's has so much that I brought a 26 gal tank and stand for my fish.

Great selection, but prices are higher than most. If your looking for a hard to find fish, visit Gerber's to see what they have.

Brighton gave me a lot of great ideas to help with my tank also the availability of the chemicals in the different foods that you have available at Gerber's is excellent the selection of the fish is excellent thank you

Need fish go to this place cause they will have what you want, including tanks and what you need to get started. They do have some what seems to me like high prices on fish though, could be a little cheaper. 3 molley fish for $25 seems a bit high compared to other places I've been. The staff are real nice people and willing to help and answer any questions you may have.

Large variety of freshwater and saltwater fish! I was in need of invertebrates and drove quite aways to make visit to pickup saltwater invertebrates. I was disappointed that some of the invertebrates that I had on hold couldn't be found. The employee tried to find what I needed but something had happened to them. She did help me find something else that I could use as a replacement. Really appreciated her taking the time to help me find something else.

Defiantly worth going to and seeing the wide variety of fish but......they're prices are a little high it seems on things that's why I gave them 4 stars but whose to say it might be better buying your fish from some experts and paying the premium than buying from pet value or somewhere else where they might have not been properly taken care of. They have a huge selection of saltwater and freshwater fish I'm sure if you are looking for something in particular they can probably get it for you.

Best collection of monster fish I've ever seen in a store.

Casey was really helpful and had a great attitude. Everything was very clean and everytime I go to this store, everyone seems to know what they're talking about.

The staff are great and the selection is even greater. However, they have a strict 24 hour fosh policy where they claim no responsibility for the fish after 24 hours. Had one that came of with ick and gave it to my whole tank. Didn't get anything from it. Love the place, hate their policy.

Very Helpful. I've been to Gerber's several times for fish and other items. Yesterday I purchased a 110 gallon aquarium from them and the pricing was very fair. It took me a while to make decisions and they were very patient with me.

First time there. If you need any kind of fish or supplies for aquarium they have it. The place was awesome. I will be going back.
