Attended a conference here and loved every second of it.

The centre has several rooms and conference halls and can hold as much as 2000 people as was the case in the hall I found myself. They are also smaller units for smaller events.

The lavatory was always clean, not messy and several are on site thus reduction in wait time for use. Lots of vending machines and the cetre has a lovely and seren environment both indoors and out doors.

Will recommend for use by any one although I haven't a clue about the financial cost of using the place or how the heating is controlled.

I need to remember to take more picture Located below are pictures of the flower area inside the centre, view of hall capacity and the view outside taken from inside an area of the building.

Its a walking distance to other attractions in the down town area of Atlanta.

GWCC is massive. I always enjoy when I come to visit. Its always for simmering specific though... and expo or convention of sorts. Because of the overwhelming size of this place, I wish they'd consider adding the rolling walk ways like they have at the airport or at Disney... to get you from point A to point B just a little quicker. Also... all food ands drink items should be reduced by at least $1. If you find this review helpful, please "like" below.

Whether you are new, guests and or live in Georgia, this place is a "must go" place. There are many many attractions for both kids and adults: Centennial Olympic Park with all kind of fun places/play grounds for kids, World of Coca Cola, Hall of Fame, CNN, etc.
If you have guests, parents, and friends visiting you in Georgia, please take them there...

I was really nice! I visit here for several events here in Atlanta. Great place to come for events and shows however there is not a descent selection of eateries. Come feed and bring your preferred drinks like water, etc because the prices beat the prices in Vegas. Have fun!

Parking was a nightmare. Difficult to navigate ths space. Had to take elevator to a floor & walk to another elevator to get to the venue. Elevators were slow. At the end, security was yelling @ patrons to get out & were intimidating. No overhead announcement. Very unprofessional. Bathrooms were kept clean, which is appreciated.

Both of my nieces High School graduations are here. This place is massive in size. There are various parking lots around the area the walk is a bit much. Plan ahead to find the closest parking lot. Wear comfortable shoes. And come early in order to get a good seat. Parking was about $15, I think.

The Georgia works congress center is huge and someone who is new to Atlanta can become very lost. There are many options for parking and I recommend taking a tour of the location first. There are many events held at this center and so much can be happening at one time. They have great air conditioning, souvenir shops, clean restrooms, and good options to chose from.

Attended a volleyball tournament This weekend. For starters parking is a pain and expensive. To save $$$ look for a private lot on Marietta Street for $10. Inside it s a very average convention spot without a lot of creativity. The LED overhead lighting is the only sign of upgrades in the facility. The restrooms are older and marginally maintained. I waited several times for escalators. The concession quality is poor and priced high. Literally the worst $10 pizza I ve ever purchased in my life. It had Papa Johns name on it but if I were them I d probably market it as an off label product. Avoid at all costs. Def eat before or after your visit.

First time inside and picked my packet for Publix Atlanta Marathon(I run half marathon). Not much know about GWCC. This place reminded me of mixed mall and major airports sort of. Next time, I ll learn about GWCC in the future soon.

I've gone to many events at GWCC and they are always well organized, fun and safe. This convention center is a well designed place that is able to accommodate events of all sizes. Great job to the event planning group that made the Kaiser Permanente Corp 5k fantastic.

Went to GWCC for TeamATL training. I was so glad that hubby dropped me off as the building is huge and requires lots of walking. Other than the enormity of the building, it is still a nice building for conventions and conferences.

The NFL experience was just that a real football experience. Amazed at how much they were able to squeeze in over Super Bowl weekend. Only issue would be the the congestion by having to go up and down the escalators to get in and out. Feel like they could do a better job. With logistics.

Depends on whats going on here and what event you are attending, the experience varies. What doesn't vary is the high cost of the food and vendors inside. If you are ever here, its is easy to walk across to the CNN center where they have a food court and reasonably priced food with options.

Show was amazing. Theo, Andrew and Joe crushed it.
However none of the ushers knew where any of the seats in the theater were. If the lights are off and you have employees there to help guests find their seats give them a floor plan or something to look at for the love of God. People were having to swap seats all through the show. Horrible idea.

This place is humungous and the sheer size of it is appreciable. You could get easily lost in it but thankfully there are plenty of directions. Parking is easy and nearby as well. Everything is climate controlled inside so no worries there. Plenty of walking space despite many events at the same time.

Was here on 10-12 June for a Microsoft conference, the place is huge!! Seriously big, it can take almost 15mins to walk from one end of building C to building B! Impressively clean and airy, but very cold! Needed to go outside to warm up!!

Went to see P!NK at StateFarm Arena, part of the Georgia World Congress Center. The venue was good and we had excellent seats. One thing I did not like was that there were only 2 screens and they weren t very large. And that s from a fairly close distance to the stage. I think many seats watching from the various angles in the arena would have problems making out what was going on. There were vendors all throughout the venue selling merchandise, food, and drinks. If you go to an event like this, BEWARE, you cannot bring in any bottles of your own. I had a refillable bottle (that cost about $12), that I meant to leave in the car but automatically took with me, and had to leave it at the door where there was quite a collection. I could claim it and pay $5 to get it back at the end of the concert or they would just be tossed. I bought a P!NK one instead!

The super bowl experience was a little overrated. Long lines and not many physical activities. The vr stuff sucked. The football kick and throw were awesome. The live tv and player signings awesome. Me and my fam were interviewed by nbc radio. That's about it. Food was high as hell. 10$ for a cheeseburger. The world Congress center is big and awesome as well.

Momocon! Very pleasant experience. The venue can be a bit difficult to find, especially if you're being directed by Google Maps. When I was getting directed here via car on Google Maps it took me into some underground construction area that was clearly not the main part of the Georgia World Congress Center. We eventually figured out but it was really frustrating in the moment. The venue itself is HUGE and there were thousands of people. The interior can be difficult to navigate since a lot of the floors look the same.

Beautiful facility. Super clean, SUPER large place. Spent nearly 20 min. walking to bldg. C to get to our exhibit. I would recommend familiarizing oneself with where ones intended venue was within the complex and attempt to find parking based on that information, as it could be a really long walk otherwise. This is a Highly recommended facility.

PLEASE LIKE my review if it has been helpful to you.
Thanks!

Crowd control for bassnectar NYE show was awful, staff was not ready for crowds. Was absolutely chaos. I definitely think if they are going to host a concert they should have way more people on staffed they did the best they could. But compared to other venues the crowd control was absolutely insane and very unorganized.

This is probably one of the coolest buildings I've ever seen. There's a good amount of shops in here to keep you busy for a while and a good vibe to the place. I came here specifically for the CNN tour, and though the tour was less interesting than I had imagined, the ambiance of the place made up for it.

Spacious and very helpful place of business.parking needs some improvements and reconsideration of the people who help fund Center. Great rip-off to all who live and visit the city of Atlanta.high/fluctuating prices according to events be held in or around area should not be happening.$30-60 for a$5-10 parking space....FOOLISHNESS! This hindered me and my colleague from finishing our business forcing us to leave early.

First time attending and it was nice. It was just very crowded. The objective of this women's expo to me was all over the place and not geared/aimed at all women specifically. Hopefully the next one will be better.

It's a convention center. Nothing outstanding about it. What I hate: event sponsors pay for the venue, customers pay to get in AND customers pay for parking! $20 just to get in the door! Be a trendsetter; figure how to make it a less financially daunting experience.

The food was alter expensive and wasn't very good the seating was fabulous not a bad seat in the house one thing that I really couldn't get past was the fact that they don't sell the visiting jerseys of the visiting team that's a bunch of horse malarkey I thought it was poorly executed by the management not to have other team jerseys I had to go outside and buy one the food court was really the biggest turn-off it was horrible burnt pizza for $14 I will say the $3 hot dogs in the $4 sodas was a plus but the other food was just garbage for a lot of money not to mention the spit of alcohol I got for $18

I attended a convention here, and it was a pretty good venue. Large space, many restrooms, conveniently located.

I didn't like that it doesn't have its own parking. Don't like that you can't go between buildings inside. It was also difficult to to bring heavy things in and out because you can't pull up to the door of the building I was visiting. You have to walk a long way down a ramp or take your chances with the nearby stairs. You also can't have your car pick you up at the curb- security tells you it's not a loading zone (but there is no public loading zone).

Overall: Great place once you're inside, can be difficult logistically coming and going.

The Jurassic Quest was really nice to see again. The area was really nice but getting down to the exhibit was a tiny bit of a trial, you relied on following others and hoping they were going in the right direction and an employee who told you were to go at the beginning of your journey. Having signs up would have been helpful for sure. Otherwise it was a fun filled evening and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Even with as many people as there were, they kept the bathrooms clean and we'll maintained. The food was again pricey but that's what happens at these things. The dinosaur rides, shows, and fossil walk made it all worth it. I do recommend paying for the VIP pass for your child you will save a lot of money rather than spending money for each ride or fossil dig they would like to do.

The conference center is nice but the eating options are not good. The Social Table is not good at all and they have no dairy free or gluten free options. Plus the staff is rude. They were on their phones the whole time I was there. You re best bet is to walk over to the CNN center.

A very fun area if you are visiting Atlanta. Super close to the Coca-Cola museum and local aquarium. The Chick-fil-A Hall of Fame is also in this area. Parking can be difficult but at the worst use the aquarium parking center for $15. it can be very warm outside so make sure to dress appropriately.
