This place is absolutely massive so get ready to walk like most conference centers. I attended the 2018 Coverings Show and while the Halls were well marked, I found that the food options were quite limited and we would up driving offsite for lunch. Luckily, it is centrally located and there is plenty of good eats around. If you're visiting from out of town and have some free time, I would recommend taking a tour of the Mercedes Benz Stadium just next door!
First time I had every been there for a conference and it was great. Love the ease of the parking lot and being able to not have to walk a mile down the streets. Felt much safer here than i have at other conventions.
Very big and confusing to go from point A to ooint B
It was such an awesome experience being at Hempworx Roadshow!
This place is huge. We parked on the opposite side to where we wanted to go so we hiked to get there. The auto show was outstanding. The crowd was minimal at that time of day.
Parked at the gold deck for the justin Timberlake concert and subsequently had to walk through the Georgia world Congress center to get to state farm arena. No problems walking through building was clean and warm. Food court inside.
Amazing night with our friend Serge , food wasnt as expensive as it used to be and Willcall players window had our tickets on tg time for the 1st time in years!!! Good job finally
Can't recall how many times I've been here, but I hope this was the last. Old, tired, beat-up convention center with the worst design ever. Just entering the main hall males one tired and wastes so much time walking. The world's narrowest escalators do nothing to help move people around. The bathrooms must have been designed by an aircraft engineer, 'cause their small enough to fit on a plane. The staff is way less than helpful and at times downright rude. It's not like one can really pick a convention center, but if your company is having an event here, think about staying home!
Home of Walker stalker Atlanta, always a pleasure to come to Atlanta!!
Big and impersonal, Georgia World Congress Center hasn't changed much in 20 years. The exhibit halls range from large to massive, the parking deck is huge, the traffic congestion at busy times is atrocious and so are the drivers, and affordable amenities do not exist. On the plus side GWCC is well maintained.
We went here with my family and a friend for momocon. It was set up well, and we had a fun time. It could be extremely crowded at times, but everyone else there was generally polite.
I was there for an event, very big place. It's nice, and the staff was pleasant. If you've never been, you may get turned around a little but they have enough people around to direct you. They do have a food court area and a few different places to eat. Don't expect much if you're a vegan or have certain dietary restrictions though. Overall it's a nice place and it's well maintained.
Attending the T.E.S.O.L Annual Conference. The convention center staff was very helpful Tuesday when registration was crazy.
1st Time At The Bonner Brothers Hair Show We Enjoyed Every minute of it... So far ready for the remainder of the event! The food and drinks are a little on the high end though
This place is huge and was a great setting for a conference. Lots of food outlets and always very clean.
Facility was nice but no eating kiosks we're open to conferencees until the 2nd and 3rd day. The price for a small Papa John's Pizza was $10! Coke was $4. Word to the wise, bring your own drinks and eat at the CNN center.
Informative tour. Record holding escalator, CNN merchandise- all in all, great 2hr outing.
An amazing example of busy bees , this establishment has two faces . There s the one the general public see and then behind the curtains, labored by the American workers who never get the appropriate attention for their hard underpaid works .
Then there s the Mercedes Benz Dome and adjoining facilities, World Congress Center . The fruit of their labors are on full display here , a vision a beautiful continuous masterpiece of plans and efforts .
Shout out to the MARSHALING YARD STAFF
Was here for a conference and with the exception of fluctuating temperature changes between class rooms, it was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean and bright, easy to navigate and bathrooms were always stocked and clean.
On the first day of the conference there were so many women in line to use the bathroom that the next day, they turned the men's room next to it into an additional womens room. Since our conference was 90% women, this was a lifesaver.
Always a wonderful convention center. Everyone who works there is super kind, knowledgeable about the area, and keeps the energy upbeat.
This place is gigantic. Parking was ample and the facility was very clean.
Large venue with multiple rooms. Served our Company's needs for several seminars.
ALways busy and also good place neat a clean. Excellent exibition hall. Good time there.
Absolutely huge facility that definitely serves its purpose, but it's a bit difficult to navigate when they have a huge trade-show going on, not really great food options here either - although next door at the CNN Tower there's a good food court
Huge facility. Getting old but they're keeping it up. Wish they had those electric scooters inside to get around... facility management seems really good.
Very nice, clean, and well organized. We visited during the auto show and I had a great time. It wasn't as large as I was expecting being from Tampa, but it was a great time and I'd be glad to attend another event at this center.
Great tour of Cnn. Learned so much. Food court was awesome.
It was nice. It was spacious and there were lots of vendors. The price of parking was my only complaint, but I know that's the going rate in downtown Atlanta.
This place is huge!!!!!!! Great signage to get you where you are going. Also very quiet if the event isn't packed out. I stayed at the Omni and there was an extension from the Omni to GWCC so you don't need to go outdoors to get there. A few coffee shops, and a bar/restaurant but CNN food court is just a 2minute walk away if you're looking to avoid the queues or just want more options. Some of the smaller seminar rooms have water stations but there's no food or drinks allowed in the lecture halls.
Had a great time at the Super Bowl experience. Nice venue. It s a football field theme park that spread out across the inside of the World Congress Center. A very good venue for conventions. Large, open, and easy to navigate.Lot of paid parking, also accessible by local rail transport - Marta
If you like walking in the airport you'd live this soulless venue.
This is a very big convention center. It's very spread out so make sure you wear really good walking shoes. It's only about a one minute walk from the main Train line. I'm sure there are buses that can take you here as well but the train seems to be the easiest way. There are other major landmarks around this location as well. There was a basketball stadium, football stadium, the CNN building and a few other sites you can take in if you're in the area. The venue is a great place ideal for big shows, however over the years the price of parking has went up and traffic management has greatly declined.
I had the best time here for the Nacs show convention but it is an extremely huge place. We were in building B
The reason why I love this place is because every year in May they host this anime covention called Momocon
The venue was nice and clean as well. The FBA conference was beautiful done and went smoothly.
Went by on my way to the Hawks game. The place was well lit, security was tight, all the restaurants were staffed adequately and people were moving quickly. Only negative I saw was not staff fault it was people not cleaning up after themselves. It took a minute to find a clean table.
This place is huge! They need better signs for navigations for events or else you get lost.
I was at the Georgia World Congress Center for my nephew's graduation. The center is beautiful and the staff helpful. They were awesome in controlling the huge crowds. I was so impressed with their professionalism. The location was accessible by car or by Marta train. We went by Marta which was easy once I figured out how to pay (It had been 10+ years since I haf ridden Marta).
This place is amazing. Right in middle of everything in downtown Atlanta. Big enough to host anything.
i technically went to state farm arena and saw my idol, ariana grande
You're in the middle of Hotlanta. Across from centennial park, aquarium, MB stadium, restraints how you like everywhere! The center itself is bz, big, and enjoyable to wonder in! You'll like... just bring your walking shoes and water!

The super bowl experience was fun. Made us New England Patriots fans feel like the home.
Nice stadium, but the food was sub par and the wheelchair access was horrible. I expected more from an arena of this size.
Really awesome place to hold such big conferences. However the place is too large to walk from one end to another. People with walking problems will have lots of problem to walk. Travelators like the have in airports should be a good option for those people.
Like that it's convenient from Marta. Great events there too. Check out their website for more events.
Cool huge place that has all kinds of events. The boat show every year is amazing and they have concerts sometimes and conventions all the time. In the hear of atl
Attended the AHR expo 2019. A big area and very good for such massive event
GWCC and the city of Atlanta did a great job hosting Super Bowl LIII. The NFL Fan Experience at the GWCC was second to none. The city of Atlanta and the NFL pulled out all the stops.
Whoa. Been to some larger convention centers but @GWCC is huge. The AMTC is here and has a ton of people and didnt even dent the capacity for rooms, exhibit halls, etc. There are at least a couple hundred vendors here and more than a dozen aircraft on display. Also: carpets clean, restrooms serviced, easy parking. Nice place for a large event.
Very nice facility. I went to a national conference that lasted several days, and the facilities we very nice. Loads of space, very friendly staff, and it was very easy to find affordable accommodations nearby. Cheap ride from the airport via an Uber as well. I'd be happy to go to the next conference held at this facility.
This was worth it. The tour was awesome and the best part was tasting over 100 sodas available all over the world.
Had a great time with my family at The Women's Expo.
Whale Sharks! I mean really. Those alone are worth coming to see. The whole venue is nice. The staff is super friendly and good with kids. Any lines in the building move very quickly.
The event I went to was in conference hall C and I have to say that I was really impressed. It was really easy to get around the event hall but the parking was kind of a walk from the building itself even if the price wasn't that bad. I look forward to the opportunity to come here again some time.
Big place. Lots of amenities. Food is ridiculously expensive. Best bet to eat across the street at CNN center.
Very solid place for a conference. The wifi was really good most of the time. The main wifi and the exhibit hall wifi caused some issues, but all in all solid center. Nothing is too far or extremely located. The walls could be a bit thicker in some rooms- you can hear the other rooms at times. The walls are definitely a bit dated and could use an update from concrete. But all and all good conference center.
I attended Momo-con for the first time and was probably one of the most epic days of me existing. The staff of the building and for Momo-con we're very friendly and informative. Can't wait until next time!
The place is great, but it is very difficult to exit when there are a lot of people.
College Football Hall of Fame was a great visit, highly recommended . Great way to spend the afternoon in downtown Atlanta. Pretty affordable to.
The concert at State Farm arena was great. Joe performing
This place was awesome. The experience was like no other.
Huge place. Know before you go which building you're attending: A,B, or C so you know best place to park. Or you will walk miles. Parking is good but expensive. I feel pretty safe in or out of the GWCC. Food choices are fair and far between. Again, lots of walking and very expensive. CNN Center across the street from building A and B has good food choices and seating. GWCC is a real asset to Atlanta and Georgia.
Clean and convenient. Shops, copying place and eatery make it easy to get what you need.
Good place.to walk a trade show and. Conveniently located - not too far from the Marta ststion
Great location, plenty of room for parking and extremely well maintained facility
I love the people that work at this building. They are always very polite, respectful and ready to help you. It's also a great place for conferences and events.
Went here for PPA imaging USA great place to hold s conference. Love the staff!
Fantastic place for a convention. Beautiful setting, clean and well lit. Needed more seating for people waiting to attend events and panels.
The Center was easy to find & immaculate (inside and out) and the staff was very nice! My only complaint would be the parking! Traffic was blocking the intersection & after 15 minutes they finally got someone to help open another entrance as well. Then when leaving a packed lot that afternoon, it was chaos for everyone trying to leave because only 2 gates were open
State Farm Arena... Saw Jeff Lynne's ELO
SIMPLY INCREDIBLE SOUND... If anyone tells you the sound is bad there... Its the Artist !! This was #Legend as George Harrison (once a Traveling Wilbury) His son opened, then came on stage to sing his Dad's part #HandleMewithCare It was Super Deluxe !!
This was honestly a pretty incredible place. The 2018 National TSA conference was here and I thought it was a good location for it to be held.
Great space, beautiful convention area. Parking can be a bit hectic so plan ahead for a little more time to park and walk to the venue.
I ve been here for a few events. It s definitely a nice place. However, I always have to walk a mile to get to where I m going. Ladies, if you wear heels here please put a pair of flats in your purse.
