The hotel put me in a smoking room. They moved me for the second night. I did not know hotels still had smoking rooms.

Super friendly staff, great breakfast - just cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Super happy and will definitely stay again!!

Check in was fast and easy. The front desk lady made it very easy to get situated with my room, wifi, etc. The room is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a good hotel rooms are good service is good.. the coffee in the morning here is a little on the flavorless side but other than that its great..... As for the every room dont have a bath tub, ask for 214 thats the room im in and i have a bath tub!

Good hotel but wish they would get back on the Farm Bureau discount that they use to do a couple years ago. Their are cheaper and better options in Athens for new because of it. It should be all Choice hotels and not just "select" properties.

Do not stay here if you expect to get any sleep. Floors and walls are paper thin; we were kept up all night both nights with the sound of doors slamming and people walking around. Bed is terribly uncomfortable. WiFi is very slow. Will not stay at a sleep inn again.

Have stayed here several times on business trips. Clean comfortable rooms, decent breakfast, friendly staff. Good location with multiple shopping and dining spots nearby. Easy access to main roads.

They're wonderful! I evacuated for hurricane Matthew with my cat last minute and they were super accommodating. It's clean, has free Wi-Fi, and is pet friendly.

Decent rooms, decent breakfast, but the "high speed" Internet is slower than your old dial-up. If you need an Internet connection for work or entertainment look elsewhere.

Fairly clean not real fancy not real friendly either

The hotel service was great and everyone was willing to help whenever it was needed. the beds were comfy and clean and everything that was needed for an overnight stay was provided.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The quality of the room, the staff & amenities were ourstanding and the price was more than reasonable.

Met expectations. Friendly staff. Room was comfortable and quiet. I'll stay there next time I'm in Athens.

The room was clean and organized with 2 beds a tv closet and bathroom. There ia free breakfast at 7 am, Delicious and certainly The best hotel i have ever been to.

I m wide awake breathing through my clothes because I can t stand the smell in room 304. I bought febreeze but there was no masking it. I actually woke up from a nightmare- I was held hostage by meth criminals. I m alone with my two kids so I haven t been able to say anything-I will when I check out.

Everything else was booked, but hotel was pretty new & clean. Location good. Didn't eat breakfast but looked ok.

The Front Desk staff is very friendly, If you order something online instruct your delivery person to have em drop the order off there and you'll be kindly notified your order arrived and on request someone will even bring it to your room.

Great rooms and beds, nice showers, pool felt like a sauna with too much chlorine.

Nice clean building and rooms, rooms smell good, and the night clerk is super nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We love the small indoor heated pool...really great. Comfortable beds too and carrying staff. We extended our stay.

Room was good. Carpets could use some care , but over all good experience.

The rooms are clean, air is good, shower has good pressure. I travel all over, their breakfast is the best of the chains in this price range. If you can't stay here, fork out more money or stay at home.

All the ladies that work there are amazing. They were so helpful and my very hard time and maybe feel like I was at home. Answered any of my questions and went above and beyond Customer service. Jessica Hughes, Jessica, Karen, Britney, Shameka, Mia I think with housekeeping the awesome lady who cooks or prepares the amazing continental breakfast and last but not least the very kind maintenance guy. You guys rock! I suggest this motel definitely if you have animals and even if you don't. Clean, comfty great location.

Location easy to find. Room was clean, pillows could use improvement. Did not interact with staff outside of check in/out.

Everyone on staff was very helpful and accommodating rooms are very spacious beds are extremely comfy and the pet fee can't be beat.

Stayed in 2 Sleep Inns the last 2 days-one in Harrisonburg, VA and 1 in Athens, GE while traveling thru. I have stayed in both of these on prior trips. I usually rate Sleep Inn at 5 stars. However, on this trip, I found them not up to par. There was an empty water bottle under the edge of the bed and dirt along the outside wall which made me question if it had been vacuumed between guests. The one in Athens had a TV that didn't work and they accommendated us by moving us to another room. The MW in that room did not work properly and the fridge was not turned on so we had to wait awhile before putting our food from our cooler in it. I reported the MW problem to the desk staff the next day. Both places had pleasant and helpful staff and breakfast was good in both places. Dining areas were very clean. Would stay again.

Great rooms, and bathrooms, breakfast needs work though

Visited the location in Athens, GA. The room was nice except for one complaint. The slug in the shower. It was a bit gross. Aside from that, great stay.

Called ahead of time and reserved a room, was told pet fee was $25, upon arrival they tried to say it was $25 per pet. Elevator had an 'out of order sign' but upon pressing the button it seemed to work. Guest dryer was broken and we didn't get our money back we put in the machine. No breakfast, closed pool, back entrance locked even though it worked. No parking for trucks/cars with trailers. Unstable stairs and spiders in the stair wells. Disregard for customer satisfaction and ignorance towards health problems. Asked for a bottom floor room because we're disabled vets, they said we had one, got there we had a second floor room with accessibility only through stairs. Very dissatisfied. Do not recommend, overpriced as well.

I left this hotel early because I had endless problems and disappointments there. My iron had something burned on the face of it and stuck to my clothes. Internet didn't work on wired or wireless. Chair was 12" off the floor so the desk was at armpit level. They had a 32" TV on a 19" wall mount so you couldn't see it well anywhere except for the bed. I tried to use the business center computer downstairs but the desk was all sticky from syrup and jam. Food was awful, had to have cereal for breakfast. Shower was not hot enough and the water pressure was really low. The room looked clean and fairly nice but nothing seemed to work right.

Absolutely the worst place I've stayed in years. Worse than the Holiday Inn up the road that had blood spatter on ceiling. No hot water. Ripped,dirty sheets,double charged me. Avoid! !

Very clean and the staff seems to go out or there way to make sure your stay is as nice as possible.

Seemed like a nice property but amenities are very poor. List of issues includes:
-hard bed
- pillows to soft
- scratchy and thin toilet paper
- no tissues in room
- no ice machines working
- hair drier very weak
- ac in room makes it either too hot or too cold

However, on the plus side, everyone was very friendly and helpful. They just don t have much to work with.

Always clean, always quiet, and always comfortable. It's also really nice to have a hot breakfast to look forward to, and fresh coffee.

Clean room, love the 24 hour pantry and the games and blenders thing was pretty cool. My only complaint was that the curtains don't close and the streetlights are bright. But sleeping in total darkness is personal preference.

It's not a bad place to sleep in for the price we spent. The soldiers truly enjoyed it.

Small things turn into big things..... The two things we found problematic at the beginning of our stay made us wonder what other problems there might be, that we wouldn't know about.... when taking a shower after checkin - we found the soap package was open, with used soap inside. Then we found long hairs (we have short styles) on the shower shelf - ew!!. The packaged lotion on the little tray was open and mostly used - small things, but it made us wonder what else was not properly attended to? Were our sheets changed? was the toilet cleaned?

Then, at breakfast the next morning, we found the eggs slimy and undercooked/watery; the bacon was a piled mess - super thin, greasy and undercooked; biscuits were rubbery. So how old was this food?

Staff went through morning change while we were in the dining area. The women were so loud, anyone in the lobby/dining area could hear that they were talking about hotel guests!! (not in a positive way). Very unprofessional!!!

I doubt we'll be back at a Sleep Inn.

Excellent place to stay. 15 minutes from downtown. Clean and a good value.

The bed and pillows are super soft, and the air conditioning is a lifesaver in the Georgia heat. Breakfast is decent spread, and the WiFi is reliable. A decent place to stay if you are in town.

Not a bad hotel. Climate control was iffy but the rooms were well furnished and the bathroom wasn't bad.

Upon arrival on July 08,2020 I came two hours early to check in and greeted the front desk receptionist (black hair) and didn t receive a friendly response. Instead she had her hair down and acted as if blah !
Luckily a co-worker (pink hair) was around the desk at the time and asked for the lady to check in to another room and she notified us to wait about 15-20 minutes and they would have a room ready since we arrived so early . When you re not at work you can do and say whatever you want , but when you re working you have to be prepared to greet customers especially when you work in reception.

To be honest , my stay is already annoying upon arrival. Let s hope it gets better . I ll update this review when I check out tomorrow

I recently stayed in your establishment do to me evacuating for the hurricane. Joshua checked me in and he was amazing! He was very courteous and very knowledgeable about the area. He gave me some great tips on where I should have dinner with me and my family. Joshua is such an asset to the company! I will definitely return to experience the great customer service that I received and also the beautiful establishment that you re running there in
Athens.

our family spent a week at your Hotel, while looking for a House to move into. The entire staff, from front desk , to higher management, were all very pleasant, and willing to answer all our questions. Will highly recomend this Hotel to Family and Friends. Will be returning in the near future.

The beds were nice, room was clean. In walking distance of a sonic. Friendly employees.

Frequent guests. The front desk staff is awesome. Jessica the manager is wonderful. Newly remodeled and very clean. Pet friendly rooms available, indoor pool and good breakfast.

I would not recommend this hotel. Very noisy. The maids knocked and woke us up several times. We had the do not disturb sign up and it was well before checkout time.

My wife brought me here for what was suppose to be relaxation since my mom passed away. The room stinks and there are hairs and dirt in the bed. 1 of the beds sheets were stained and dirty. Blow dryer didn't work and i have broken out in bites since laying in the bed. Bath tub was missing paint and1 socket was hanging out the wall. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE

Athens, GA Comfortable and clean rooms. Good breakfast.

Not the cleanest room. Non smoking room but comforter had cigarette burns, room had been smoked in. Found trash under the pull out couch. In town for family emergency, other hotels booked up. Not happy we are here for 3 nights.
Update: got the hell outta there went to Madison, GA. Nope, don't care if it was $1 a night.

Not great, not terrible either. Overpriced for what it is but was very convenient location for my needs.
