This place doesn't return phone calls. Their customer service is horrible

Great place to shop for your patio needs. Staff did an amazing job walking us through potential options and listing out pros/cons. Their attention to detail and pride in their product is always evident. I don't hesitate at all to recommend them to anyone looking spruce up their outdoor space. We are extremely happy with the set we purchased and look forward to using it for years to come. Much better selection and shopping experience than your "typical" big box store.

Stuart and his staff were excellent to do business with. They didn't try to upsell anything and were easy to talk to. Everyone was very patient while we measured and re-measured. Delivery was excellent as well. Prices are very competitive and often cheaper than other places. Much better than guessing at Canadian Tire or another box store. Very large selection as well. Highly recommended!!

Great service, custom made my umbrella in a reasonable amount of time.

We were extremely happy with the customer service, selection and delivery of our patio furniture. Julie was the associate we dealt with...she was super helpful! Definitely would recommend going to GP products!

Very happy with the table that we bought last week- looked for a while to find a metal table with an umbrella hole and also under $1k.
Enjoying it immensely! However...

UPDATE:
Unfortunately, after removing the protective tarp from the table this spring, the metal slats opened up in five spots. Generally, we have found that anything made in China is a disappointment.
That is why I changed the 5 star rating to 1 due to quality.
UPDATE 2:
The 1 star rating has changed back to 5 as their customer service is
A1. They are honouring the 1-year warranty and will be replacing the table soon. Their reply was prompt and courteous; We will continue shopping there with confidence knowing that the Owner also handles issues personally and promptly.

Original Review on August 8, 2020:
We purchased a Corriveau Maestrale gazebo on April 14th, 2019 in which the installation was completed in mid-June 2019 due to difficulties with obtaining parts. Michael W., the sales staff, was very attentive and knowledgeable and I even left a favorable Google 5-star review at the time of purchase. I also recommended friends to check out their store since I feel supporting our local stores is important.

When we purchased the gazebo, we were reassured by Michael that the gazebo could withstand the weight of the snow and fallen snow from the roof etc. It was an important issue that was repeatedly discussed. However, we noted damage to the roof of the gazebo on February 9, 2020 after a weekend of heavier snowfall with pictures taken the next day and after the snow had melted (see attached pictures). We're disappointed that the gazebo hasn't been able to withstand the weight of the snow and contacted GP Inc. about applying the warranty for the gazebo.

Stuart, the owner of General Products Inc. (GP Inc.), would later assess the damage in mid-March 2020. He indicated that he would communicate with the manufacturer, Corriveau, and have the issue resolved. We didn t hear from GP Inc. or Stuart for several weeks. With the COVID19 pandemic, I appreciate that Corriveau may be closed or had slowed down during this period. By the end of April, I emailed GP Inc. again and was told that they were still waiting for a reply from Corriveau. By the end of June, after another email and phone calls, I was informed that the parts were coming but they were uncertain when it would come in. It s August 2020 now. More emails have been sent but have not received a reply or further updates.

I m very disappointed with the Corriveau Maestrale gazebo. For a Premium gazebo, the roof buckled under the weight of the fallen snow. We were impressed with Michael s knowledge and justified the expensive price of this gazebo because we were told that General Products Inc. would support their customers afterwards. However, we re extremely disappointed with the after-sales service and the repeated efforts needed to get any updates from GP Inc.

I would not recommend purchasing the Corriveau Maestrale gazebo (10 x 14 ). For a >$2400 gazebo, we re disappointed that the roof buckled under the weight of fallen snow and within the first ten months of purchase. We re also disappointed with the after-sales service provided by GP Inc. I will update this review upon the hopeful resolution of this issue.

Update September 19, 2020:
It had been a frustrating process due to the lack of response to our questions or any updates from GP Patio. However, communication and updates from GP Patio improved in mid-August. By September 19th, 2020, the parts had arrived and the repair of the gazebo was carried out to our satisfaction. No additional costs were incurred for the parts or repair.

We purchased a cabana extension dining table and 6 chairs this spring. Outside of the lengthy COVID delivery cycle which is expected, as soon as we tried using the extension leaves, the black bumpers which protect the extension leaves from the base frame and also provide stability broke off. Very poor quality of design. We have been trying to get replacement parts or a resolution from GP Patio in general for several months now to no avail, barely a response, always us asking them on status every week. Poor quality and customer service

Great products. Incredible customer service! We had ordered a table that I noticed was defective after a month. One quick phone call and Jeff was all over it. Stayed on top of it until we got the replacement table. Totally hassle free. Highly recommend.

Mike is the most knowledgeable patio sales person we ve dealt with. He was very patient with us, not pushy at all. The after sales support was great. He was very responsive and the entire process was seamless. We highly recommend GP to our friends and family.
