Gators Dockside Baldwin Park Review

Decent food, service is a bit slow. But, the lake view is rather nice.

Great family friendly sports bar. Loads of TV's, great bar food, plenty of drinks, and all for a reasonable price. Plus the outside area is super comfortable.

Horrible atmosphere. If customers would make there kids behave in public it would be a three star place.

Wings were tiny. Looked like pigeon wings not chicken wings. Very busy. Too busy to inspect quality. Parking was very limited. Management needs to inspect quality if they care because there are a lot of new restaurants in town. This restaurant should be rated very highly due to location. Wake up management!

Great service but food was fair to good. Ordered blackend mahi an it came out cajun not blackend. Clean nice place but errors on kitchen end. Other person I ate with also had order come out wrong. Would be a 5 star beer and burger place but not sold on the entree's.

Great food and i assume great drinks for the legal ones.

If you want to watch a game with your friends this is definitely the place to go to. I am underwhelmed by the food they serve but it's a good bar.

Our server was awesome. The food was great. Loved the beer towers. Only issue was with the manager with the long gray goatee. He seemed to find it necessary to belittle and reprimand the staff on the floor in front of customers. It was depressing to watch the servers go from smiling and happy one moment to sad and depressed after being "talked to" by him. It was completely unprofessional and you can tell that the staff there is intimidated by this so-called manager. This guy needs to be retained to learn how to motivate and inspire his staff.

Pork tacos with plantains, fish and chips, patio, great view. Great service, prices and portions!

Standard Gators Restaurant, with the surprise that this one has a breeze (!) from Lake Baldwin and nightly sunset views. If you're lucky you will see the little 3-otter family who lives in the lake. After dinner, a walk around the lake is 2.1 miles.

Had the unlimited wings they have Monday's, it's a must! The grilled ones are so delicious!

Great food decent price. Definitely a sports bar so quite loud. But the view was amazing from the outdoor seating.

Food is what you'd expect from a restaurant of this type: nothing fancy. With great lake views and plenty of TVs for sports, Gators is a go to for football season. MNF fans can enjoy the all you can eat wing special as well. Don't miss trivia Wednesday for one of the best trivia hosts in Orlando.

Additionally, the outdoor seating area is completely covered with roll up walls that can be deployed when it's raining, windy, or cold. Gators is super dog friendly. Baldwin Park is actually one of the most dog friendly neighborhoods in the country.

Service has been slow at this Gator's the last few times I've gone. Food and beer is always good though.

I am not a kid-hater. Kid's Night was pretty obnoxious. At 9PM on a Tuesday, about eight, six-year-old boys were screaming and running around the place unsupervised. I'll give the place another shot, some other night, but not a Tuesday. Sitting at the inside bar, you may as well sit outside with the smokers, as the cigarette smoke wafts in easily.

Good place for all you can eat wings on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Every dish that came out was cold except for the pretzel (which was honestly delicious). One person ordered a chicken sandwich that was so overcooked she couldn't pull it apart with her hands. Manager took that meal off the bill. Service was extremely slow.

Don t go here if you are a person of color. When we walked in on a Wednesday for bones wings we were met with stares from the crowd. We continued to take our seat and even though they were pretty empty, they proceeded to put us at a table AROUND the corner and behind the kitchen. We were the only people in the far back. We then moved ourselves from around the corner by ourselves to another spot. Another day, we went again on Wednesday and ordered wings and as soon as our waiter heard us say that we wanted boneless wings, her voice, tone and attitude immediately changed. It was very visible and clear she did not want us there. Do not waste your time and money at establishments like this.

Good is ok. Chicken tenders and pretzel is more like a paste...not what is described in the menu. Wings are tiny. Ale House is much better.

The food is excellent, the view spectacular, however there is a lot of noise is a place where they meet to watch different games, in addition to children almost do not listen to what people say.
It has a somewhat calmer outdoor environment.
There is a little clown painting little faces to the children and making figures with balloons.

Love this place. As a connoisseur of wings, it s one of my go-tos as far as chain restaurants are concerned. My recommendation is the grilled wings, all flats, tossed in their spicy garlic sauce. (My mouth is watering just typing this.) The atmosphere is nice too, if you re looking for a gets-the-job-done sports bar to catch the game, or outside under the patio overlooking the lake.

Pro tip: All-you-can-eat wings on Monday night!

I very seldom leave replies as negative as this one. However, both the service and food were not FDA approved. I worked in a restaurant in the past, I understand it s not an easy job. But to come on wing night, with my girlfriend and best friend from home, and be served cold wings is extremely unprofessional. Yes, it sucks to work at Gator s during a promotion like all you can eat wing night since the tabs won t be too high, but the server could ve put in some effort to make our visit slightly more enjoyable. Our water s weren t refilled once, my girlfriend s food(turkey burger) also came out cold, and not to mention the only time we saw the server was when collecting the bill. I hate to say it, but I would ve rather filled my gas tank with the money I spent there. Do not come here on Monday or Wednesday s when they run their promotion because everyone there acts like they have to worst job in the world. Truly depressing. I assume it s a management problem and lack of culture. Won t be back unless things change.

Awesome, Awesome everything, Service, food, location. Could not have asked for better. We had a party of 12, we all ordered something different and it was all delicious, cook just right and served up hot. Our waitress was beyond helpful, awesome all the way, even the manager checked on us several times.

Great food, good service, nice atmosphere, but WHERE CAN I PARK??
OK, just a short walk away, in the Publix parking lot. I can eat more at Gator's and then walk it off.
On edit, service is deteriorating. Unless you are in a large crowd and drinking copious amounts of alcohol, don't expect more than minimal service. Except to have to ask for drink refills and a new bottle of catchup several times.

Not the best food but cheap beer and good crowd. If you want to watch a game on a TV I would recommend this place.

Really good service and nice location, but the food quality is poor.

The good: the view here is great, they do decent drink specials, and service is usually good. We often bring a dog and sit outside, which is nice.

The meh: the food is okay. Nothing stand out on the menu. I've gotten a few different burgers and sandwiches here, and they're decent. They're known for their wings, which again are just okay for me.

I do enjoy coming here, and I've never had a bad experience - but it's pretty standard bar food. If you're looking for that kind of experience, Gator's will do the job.

Good bar food. Decently priced drinks (especially in this area). The service is pretty good but I haven't had a bad service experience at Gators.

I really like that they purchase a lot of PPV events and don't charge people to come and see them. If you get hungry and don't want to spend a ton of money. I recommend stopping at Gators to fill up.

A group of us generally go to Gators on Monday nights to have all you can eat wings. This time the place was actually empty so we thought we might receive some quick service (never have a problem at the red bug location). So first order of wings takes almost 30 mins and came out cold, second order took over 30 mins. We were there over an hour and the second plate came out (they were actually hot this time). We complained to the waitress to talk to the manager he finally came out and I said we've been here almost an hour and a half and we haven't even received the third plate. Ole parachute pants (manager) said that on slow nights wings generally take 15-20 mins per plate (which is fine but this is averaging over 30 mins) he checked our ticket and it was only 1 hour and 12 mins. I hysterically started laughing and he walked away. Besides that we had to beg to get a refill on our drinks and she would forget them most of the time anyway after we would ask. Waitress kept apologizing but not fixing the issues and the manager could careless. Definitely will not be back.

My food was under cooked and my kids finished their meals before my replacement came out. I ended up canceling my order and left without eating. The management never even acknowledged the mistake nor did the server apologize.

Even with the owners dropping a lot of money into this place the same problems still exist. The food quality and quantity are questionable especially for the price. The hostesses are always super friendly however the portions not so much.

Ordered the philly cheese steak while i was in a hurry and waiting on a friend. It was ready in about 10 mins maybe less with a side of fries seasoned with seasoned salt... It was freshly made and umm!! umm!! good.

Monday all you can eat wings is scrumdilliumptious. Chris is a great server.

says they close at 12am, but i came in at 11pm and was told they re closed already, all chairs on tables.

Ordered food twice from them, once from Amazon Restaurants, once from UberEats. Am not impressed either time--maybe they don't put as much effort into deliveries. Whether in or out, don't order the fish and chips. Got three huge pieces of breading with a piece of fish about the size of your pinkie finger buried inside.

Besides the great view & the absolutely amazing big soft pretzel w/beer cheese & sweet deli mustard (amongst other goodies), our server Maddie was just the best!! She tolerated our loud Key West selves w/deft & a sparkly personality - Gator's, you have a true gem in that young lady!

It's Gator's. That's about it. Can't recommend anything other than the ribs or wings. Only slightly above average die to location: overlooking Lake Baldwin

Gators has always been a great restaurant with great food. Today was no different. Food was great. And they actually had Pepsi products whereas every other restaurant has coke products. I hate coke. So that was definitely a plus. Great customer service by the waitress. And the manager was very nice also. All in all. Great restaurant experience.
