A little pricey for what we were expecting but good atmosphere Down Home Place Baldwin Park area

Gators is always good, can always depend on them. Then you can walk around Lake Baldwin. We usually get the wings and fries GREAT YUM.

I usually eat there, so I know its usually good. My moms chicken was hard as a rock too. It's ok, we took it home and had some very happy cats!

This place is TERRIBLE!!! The hostess up front (Pam) was beyond UNHELPFUL!!! I asked her how long the wait was going to be and she literally told me that she had NO IDEA! Sooooo.....essentially it could be 20 minutes or 20 days. Lol. I told her that I had never heard of such a thing and she said in a condescending way "Yeah...I'm so sorry about that". So we left.

I went there for lunch with two friends and ordered the 8 piece lunch special bone in wings with fried pickles and fried gator tail. The gator tail and pickles were great! My wings on the underhand were undercooked not once, but twice. After I sent them back the first time, the second time I got a to go box to cook them at home. The service was great too, and drinks were great too. 3 or 4 stars if I didn't have to cook the wings at home.

Great food. Music was a little too loud but they turned it down when requested. Great staff. Sports bar with a great variety of food and drink.

Service was extremely slow and there were barely any customers. The waitress stated only 2 cooks present, unacceptable for lunch time service.

Our server Hailey was lovely. Possibly the best server we've ever had.

Ordered a grilled chicken dinner. It was dry. Food seemed as if reheated in a microwave. Not fresh at all.

Was very disappointed. Came here to see the docks. The name says Gators dockside, but there were no docks. There were no gators either. Basically the entire name is a lie. Food was good though.

Great food and beverages. Nice scenery being right near the water and in Baldwin Park.

The wings and wraps were very good. They had a nice selection of cold beer. The prices are reasonable. They have a nice outdoor seating area overlooking tje lake. Downside was service was lacking and slow. We asked for the table to be wiped down and it never happened. I asked for a glass of water and never received it. They also need to work harder to control the flies.

Good specials and good service.
Sweet Water 420 is almost always less than four dollars a pint.

Love the all you can eat wings, but sometimes it can take forever to get your re-orderes. The last time we were there, we waited about 20 min between each order and they only brought 5 to a plate. I recommend not waiting till you're starving to start lol..

We head to this location when the weather's nice and we feel like sitting outside because it has a great view of Lake Baldwin. The patio is large and has televisions, so you can still see the game while enjoying the weather. The menu is varied and we always order different things every time we come. Prices are good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Plus, the patio is dog-friendly and we enjoy seeing everyone bring along their cute pooches to dinner!

My boyfriend and I do lunch here probably once a month because his office is right down the road. Every time we come to this location, the staff is always friendly. On one visit in particular, my boyfriend accidentally knocked over his (nearly full) beer because he talks with his hands a lot. The gentleman behind the bar did not hesitate to come walking around immediately with a towel and a waitress (not even ours) asked what beer he was drinking and brought him a new one. They didn't even charge us for the spilled beer. This is just one example of this location's excellent customer service. The food is always great here and if you're coming for lunch, you can usually get in and out in 45 minutes (if you're not in a rush and if you are, you could probably make it out in 30). Great spot on the lake too. If the weather is decent, sit outside. It can be chilly inside so it helps to bring a light sweater.
The only reason I can't quite give it 5 stars is because the last 2 visits weren't up to par... Our most recent visit, the food took about an hour to come out after we ordered and my mahi was cold, as if it has been cooked and left out for the entire hour. My salad was mostly yellow and there was almost no dressing. The time prior to that, the server wasn't all that great (very surprised at this) and she didn't stay on top of our drinks at all. I finished my beer before my food came out and she finally came back to bring me another with the check. I just laughed and told her I wasn't going to chug a beer and go back to work.
Most of the time, this place is on point.

Terrible customer service. Food took way too long. Husband never received his food. Manager blamed it on large catering order even though we were sit-in customers and the place wasn t even packed. Will not be returning.

Great bartenders and wait staff...good food lots of sports. And, if you live in Baldwin Park, you can walk!

We had a great time last night for AYCE Wings every Monday. Wings were on point as always and Erin, our server, was so sweet and attentive. Go get wings and service from her, you ll no doubt enjoy the meal!

Oh and get grilled sweet Thai chili and have some mango habanero and 4 alarm suicide on the side....with ranch you re just set

Horrible service. We came on wing night on monday. It was not busy at all and had to wait at least 20 to 30 minutes to get our first order and at least 20 minutes for the orders hereafter. I at least wont visit this one again

The managers are no help at all they re really short with you and they were talking whole time not helping they re staff they just seemed very rushed and like jerks!

Waitress acted like one of us punched her in the stomach, or like she was doing us a favor, total b****. If you work on a Monday expect people to order the all you can eat wings, don't get mad about it. Nice location, awful service.

Place was clean social distance was carried staff wore masks and gloves. Place wasn't overly crowded so i felt as secure as can be in these times. Food and service good.

This is my favorite Gators location. We ate on the patio because we had our dog. Great service and the food was right.

To start, we waited about thirty minutes before anyone ask to ask what we wanted to eat. I didn t mind because the waitress was really sweet, i understand it gets busy. I work in hospitality so I m pretty observant when it comes to customer service. We put our order of wings in and it took about 15 minutes to come out, they had about 30 tables, only about 10 of them were seated so to say it s because they were busy wouldn t be correct. Since it was all you can eat they wouldn t let us put two order in until our first our came out. Then there was a spil, I get it, it s not your fault, but don t you think the right thing to do would be to let us put two orders in so we weren t wait 40 minutes for 2 orders of wings? One of the people at our table asked for the waitress to ask her manager to allow this exception for us. He did of course, because like I said it s the right thing to do... but here comes the worst part about my expierence. The MANAGER Scott, he came over and stated I heard someone needed to talk to he manager . This is appalling, he didn t even tell us his name, I had to ask one of the other servers what his name was. We told him we had been here for 1 hour and 20 minutes (Estimating time because obviously we were unsure of exact minutes) and we had only been served 2 rounds of wings... he then rebuttled Actually, it s been 1 hour and 12 minutes, I already checked the times . Is this a joke? I found it very disrespectful to say the least at his lack of customer service. Our waitress was amazing, and she was the best part of our visit. I want her to know nothing here was her fault, and to keep smiling.

Gators is a sports bar through and through. It's main draw being the TVs around the bar. The food is alright, with burgers, wings, and other pub grub dishes. It's an alright place to bring your family.

Food is as should be expected, but the service was a bit.... lax. We were here for a fight night, and it took a lot longer for things to happen than should've been, even considering the fact the place was packed

For a sports bar type place their food is better than average. Gator's is opened until 2am. Very extensive menu.

Artichoke spinach dip was awesome . I had the mac and cheese burger with bacon so yummy. Thanks Daniel ( our waiter) for the recommendation

I visited this location a year ago and it was great. Unfortunately, this trip I was very disappointed. Service was Terrible and the food was bad.

Try the gator tail, You won t be disappointed. Friendly waiter and excellent food.

Food not so good but it's more of a bar so if you drink enough it may taste better.

Each Gator's Dockside location is unique and has a great menu but this one particularly has a great view of the lake. Outside seating is to die for. The service staff is actually very friendly they check on you constantly and the wait time for food was normal to quick. Highly recommend this Gator's Dockside.

Love the location, food could be better. Should give 3 stars for that, but the beer is always on point, and it's in my neighborhood, so I'll keep going all the time.

Growing up in WP, this place gives me a glimpse of a lake I love. Beautiful covered patio with a view and a wide array of foods on the menu. A chain...but a good one!

Delicious gator tail. The peanut butter and jelly wings are interesting and creative, I ate them all. View from the outdoor seating is great and the staff are great. Definitely stop by.

Overall a fun atmosphere and good food with large portions. Only complaint I have is with bartenders when I visited. Me and a friend sat at the bar and our bartenders (all younger females) seemed more interested in having conversations with each other than taking care of the customers. We had to stop one to get a refill on a cocktail twice so it wasn't like it was just water. We had to ask for everything. Refills, condiments, extra plates, etc. It would have been nice if they did it without having to ask.

Gator's Dockside is low-cost, low-value, casual restaurant chain. This one is located in Baldwin Park alongside medium-cost, high-value restaurants. As a Baldwin Park resident, we often walk to the restaurants in town, usually with a reusable water bottle with us to tolerate the Florida heat. Gator's Dockside will not let you in their restaurant with a reusable water bottle, all the other restaurants in Baldwin Park, will. This unfriendly demeanor wasn't the first time we experienced this type of attitude at Gator's. The staff is often rude and disinterested. The menu options are bland, unimaginative, and offers little to no health-conscious options, which is the opposite of the surrounding restaurants.



It's also worth mentioning that some Gator's Dockside locations have been shut down by state health inspectors, not this one in particular, but others have.

A typical sports bar in a very nice area. It's near a lake so the view is nice.

Gators is always consistent and the service is great. We only get wings when we come here and they're always amazing. Our favorite ones are the grilled wings. So much flavor! The location is also nice with a view of the lake.

Service is always good, oftentimes though the food seems to be very "hit or miss".

My wife and I visited some friends at their home in the Winter Park area. Just so happens that they live in a wonderful community on Lake Baldwin where we found this Gator's Dockside. Got to catch up with friends and still watch "the More
