Kewit is a place where your opinions don't matter.they might have the VOP people but they really can't do much. If you want to climb the latter you have to be friends with supervision. This job is more like a dictation down to the level on how you walk and where you walk. There daily process can be compared to segregation kos employees and subcontractors aren't seen as equal...just to mention the parking conditions are a small example ...

I work as a Consultant at this plant. For the most part it a great place to work when you're in a position to delicate a task or make decisions. But for those who are just a red hat, blue hat, purple hat or all the other colors your just a working dog and a slave. I feel bad for then

Kiewit is a place to see things that most people will never even think of. I worked there in 2002 and 03 and i was able to work on the HOD and a satellite for the government, along with the footings for the San Fransisco bridge. I also worked night shift a while and loved it. Don't think that its a cake walk, because it's not. If work and adventure are in your mind Kiewit is the place. I can't wait to go back.

They hired an inexperienced supervisor For the department which is completely unfair to pay someone more then the workers who ve been working there 5-20 years...they had plenty of people who understand how the department and the field works with each other and instead hired someone who was related to one of the big wigs ...so my only qualifications to be a higher paying supervisor is to be related to one of the bosses. They make employees feel expendable and have no regards for employee moral.
