I was charged for PC Matic. I did not reciece the protection, or any protection at all for my PC that l paid for. When l called PC Matic, l could not talk to a human, l had to "send an e-mail" to them. My computer is not working properly, my e-mail is not working, hence my need for virus and other cleaning help (reason l bought this) so l cant even contact them....l AM TICKED!

I have been a reliant user of PC Matic nearly since its inception. Like so many businesses in this venue, they've had there ups and downs. All to be expected. I've been a desktop user since the early 80s. I've watch their complexities grow and the term growing pain is no joke. The worst of this is those that assume knowledge about what computers are capable of accomplishing. That limitation is made that much more troublesome when when the "assumor" doesn't listen well and then when the fix they are looking for doesn't materialize. I have to pat Vince McDaid one of the Technical Support people at PC Matic. I had an older Laptop that I decided to dig out and use with a new Smart TV I purchased. So after I plugged it in I realized that the old problems that caused me to put it in a drawer were still there. I had other newer laptops that PC Matic was regularly scanning and they worry free. I contacted Techical Support and the usual questions and answers started all over again and it appeared there was more to my problem, but Vince hung right in there and never left me hanging. I have never had so many questions and each time have the answers fix the problems. I have to admit I am one of the "Assumors" and as much as I tried to do what the word says it was only me that was the problem. He listened and gave me the easiest and most direct instructions. Not once did the instruction allow me to be as stupid as I can be. His answers and instruction actually made me feel smarter. He made me feel so good that as a rule I don't write reviews because it's usually to say something bad. Not in this case. Hip, hip, hooray. Give that man a raise. Everybody else can learn from him. Thank you, thank you, thank you Vince. Stay safe and healthy, because I know I'm going to need you in the future.

Finally a company that delivers a product that really works as advertised. I have used McAfee, Microsoft security essentials, Nortons and many others since Windows 3 first came out, and can honest say PC Matic out performs them all. And the customer support is always there to help with any issues. I am using it on 3 computers with no problems.
Please keep helping the customer's with your great service, and not worrying about your bottom line dollar's like the rest of them!

I have a small home business and have three essential computers connected to my business. I have had PC Matic and their programs protecting and keeping them running for many years. One of my computers runs on WindowsXP and they keep that cleaned and running as well. Besides protecting and cleaning my computers their customer service is excellent! if I ever had even the smallest question or "problem" their service technicians respond immediately and have the answers/fix I need and will not quit until they know I am happy with the outcome. Can't say enough good things about this company... and it's American!! Best money you'll ever spend!

PCMatic/SuperShield is heads above any other security interface, at least from my perspective. This is a real-time gatekeeper that keeps the bad guys out of the system. Not only is the product of the highest quality, but, to top it off, the Customer Service Team goes far beyond any expectations. The Team is spread out like a net, and filters activity and request like a coffee filter. The scans are the best and keep the system running at its peak. One cannot go wrong by having PCMatic/SuperShield on their computer. JP

I am a walking PC Matic advertisement! Quiet and dependable, my computers have happily been protected for the last two years. PC Matic does not interrupt recording my music, like their well-known competitors. I wouldn't use anything else!

Giving one star, due to the fact you can't find a phone number, it shouldn't be hard for a paying customer to find a phone number for a service they are paying for, and the number listed here, is only allowing you to leave a message, no no no, I wanna speak to someone, why don't you have your number out in the open that's bs.

Having tried about 3 other anti-virus companies over the years and having renewal issues with them, I went to PC Matic. I have been a customer about 4 years now and no issues; I have my 2 computers protected by them. On 2 occasions I had computer issues and within 90 minutes and usually less through an email exchange with their support team my problems went away. I follow their instructions to the letter and both machines (Windows 7 and 10) are working just fine again.

Whatever you do do not use this company if you ever need to cancel a renewal you only have an automated number to call and no chance to speak to anyone. The system has you run around in circles and work on this for hours instead of minutes.
Any company who doesn t have a telephone number to answer in person should be suspect.

PC Matic has been totaleee awesome. I'm no computer whiz or software designer but am probably more familiar than avg. I've downloaded and activated all the bells and whistles I could activate and I read my emails and start up information like a consumer is supposed to do.
I've read negative comments on here and the responses identify lazy consumers. Folks, unless you give full control to pc-matic not much they can do if you don't do your part!
Thank you PC Matic for doing a technically great job and also responfing to my emails so quickly! I'll be telling the BBB the same story, you're great!

I have PC Matic on two computers, the first was an older HP, which was not a very good computer but good for doing PowerPoint presentations. Downloading some pictures I obtained a virus that created a system failure. Bought a new Dell, added PC Matic and after a year was doing some software updates from Dell got another virus that wiped out the boot drive....took it to Office Depot where it was purchased and they tried to get it back operational. Said virus blocked the boot drive and would be cheaper to get a new computer. So I called tech support at PC Matic to ask how could two computers with their antivirus software get wiped out, I was told for another $129.00 they would try to see if they could fix it, but no way to ensure that would work. So I ask, if their software protection failed twice why would I pay for them to look at it and maybe fix the problem?

PC Matic is junk and would NOT recommend anyone wasting money for their products. CM

I purchased the Macc version of the PC Matic software. I was prompted to do a scan. 24 hours later the scan was not complete. I tried opening e mails and they would not open. Tried opening websites and they wouldn t open. So I tried shutting down google chrome and rebooting it. It wouldn t reboot. So I tried rebooting my computer and it wouldn t reboot. So I called technical support, that is supposedly US based, but I could hardly understand the customer service guy due to his heavy foreign accent, but he told me that a Macc tech would call me within an hour. No call back, so I called customer service again. Another guy with a heavy foreign accent said PC Matic does not work on Macc s. I said but your website has a button to select the virus protect for Mac on it, which is what I purchased. He said no. Then he said, let me check on the technician. I was on hold for about 30 seconds and then he just hung up. I tried calling back several times after that and they would just pick up and hang up immediately.

This is the company that try s to promote themselves as a wholesome all American company that is top notch. Their products do not work and their customer service is flat out horrible. I canceled and recommend everyone stay away from this shady company! Kent VanDerSchuit
